Took a cat ct 660 in. They repaired first and did not give me a rough estimate before repairing then called me and said the cost was over $2000. They did it before but I blew that off as a mistake. But twice? This was the 4th time same part that went bad. Wouldn’t even attempt to see if they could warranty the part at all. I even offered to pay labor and the additional parts as long as they took care of the part that continued to be the problem. They acted like they were not going to help. Never once picked up the phone even after I showed them how many times the part had been replaced. Of course they wanted to blame something else as anyone would expect. Will probably be the last time I purchase anything from holt equipment. and for sure won’t have a truck serviced there in the future. Of course they know themselves that the ct660 will be a thorn in their sides for a few more years. I never even was told when I left we thank you for your business. And no I didn’t get nasty with them while I was there either. I’m sure they are trained to be that way so I’m not blaming the individual employees at the desk. I just liked his excuse why they couldn’t warranty which I found pretty amusing. Unfortunately the truck I have requires to buy their parts.

Parts department is a joke, I have never delt with people so unwilling to help the customer. Not to mention the fact that none of them seem happy about being at work. I think Ill sale my fleet of cats and switch brands.

This place is my hero!! The guy came in on Saturday to off load my oversized load so I could go home and spend time with my family in the area instead of sitting out in Terrell over the weekend less then 50 miles for the house.

Whenever the Holt Cat Irving Field Service comes out to check out a problem on any of my heavy equipment, I always get a good diagnosis of the problem from the technicians. Then I can decide if I want them to fix it or if I want to do it myself.

Holt Cat Field Service fixes a sticky problem.My Caterpillar 990 wheel loader needed to have a hydraulic control valve replaced, so I called Holt Cats field service department in Irving to come out to fix my machine. They were available and had the parts to get my equipment back in service.

So far Im not appreciating the rudeness of the receptionist or phone answer is all she is. Was hung up on mid sentence when asking a question and trying to reach parts department. Not off to a good start there Holt.
