We went to buy bangle today... they checked size first and we tried the measured size bangle after that.. but one of other employee came in and started telling the girl who was helping us saying to check the size properly.. and then other came in and started telling and another came in and did the same thing in different languages again and again... it made us felt like we are there just window shop and they made us feel uncomfortable... Bad customer service.. judging us by the way we look outside..... Like this girls cant buy gold .. this girls cant understand our language.. Absolutely loved my experience here. I came in just looking to see the prices and the selections really impressed me. I ended up buying a ring that I did not set out to purchase, as rings on display usually never fit my size. However, they resized the ring I chose within five minutes and I was able to purchase it right away. I moved here from NYC and even the jewelers in Edison, NJ were not that fast in resizing. This jeweler also did not charge to resize and the price of the ring was really inexpensive for 22k gold. 10/10 would recommend

Before Diwali I purchased gold bangle pair from Tilak jewellers , after Diwali Pooja I wore them , after 5 days I saw a tiny crack , may be its 22 k pure gold that is too soft and should not use in daily use , I went to tilak jewell again to exchange , in exchange I selected necklace set , after coming home my friend finds some manufacturing defect in earrings and necklace, next morning I went again to tilak jewelers, they offer I can select something else in exchange , i thought to return the product so I can select something else after they get new fresh jewellery design , they returned it ,gave us a check .I had lots of learning in this process and appreciate their positive attitude towards customer . During this COVID situation, the staffs take necessary precautionary measureslike checking the temperature at entrance, providing gloves, sanitizers etc. I would like to thank them for doing a great job here.By first looking at the store you will definitely get a feel that they have a wide variety of collections and it is true as well.But when it comes to kids collections there werent much at all. We stepped into the store today(09/21/2020) to buy earrings for my little one.The collections of toddler earrings were little and due to her age and size and our search narrowed even further.The Sales woman who was assigned to us was lacking attention to us. I could sense that by her actions.I was little hesitant to even ask the sales woman to try the ear rings on my lil one understanding the current situation but she didallow us to try and I was happy about that but it dint even last for minutes. When we picked the 3rd earring to try on my daughter,she gave us a warning that this will be your last try and nothing after that as if we tried 10-20 varieties. After hearing her words, I dint even attempt to try, gave them back.I understand the COVID situation completely. I noticed that after every try,the sales woman was very cautious in wiping them with sanitizers before putting them back to rack. My question is why would someone allow us to try on those jewels rather having a hard stop on only 3 varieties ?Is this the rule across this store or just to that sales woman who doesnt have enough patience to wipe off every variety that we try on. I dont know.I would like to raise this concern and get addressed them respectively.I really liked the earring which I shortlisted and I ended up buying them. Since this is my first gold purchase in US(not aware of how things work here), I have question to Tilak Jewelers - when Gold rate is ~63$ per gram in Dallas, Tx on 09/21/2020 - why did you charge me 92$ per gram ? :)Is this extra 30$ (48%) are towards making charges of that earring or something else ?Overall Review - Nice store, Effective measures against COVID are much appreciated, Kids collection can be improved, staff behavior needs to be revisited.Thank You !

I recently purchased an engagement ring for my fiancee from Tilak Jewellers, and I have to say that I am more than impressed. Not only did they make the specific ring I asked for, they had it to me weeks earlier than expected, and the piece is flawless. Im so impressed with what I received, you guys made this process so easy and Im as happy as can be!

I went to buy diamond earrings and was treated disrespectfully. Clearly, the post on one of them had some irregularities and I was unable to screw it on without issues, however the saleswoman claimed she did not see a problem but later said even if there was one, it shouldn’t matter as once worn no one would notice. If I’m spending 1000$ I expect decent quality. When asked to see other earrings she got rude and impatient. When I pointed out that an other earring had a similar issue, she said “ Fine! If you say so!”. At this point I told her that I don’t appreciate her attitude and walked away. .. to Tanmai jewelers down the street where I was treated with respect and I ended up buying my earrings from them.Note that I have purchased earrings from Tilak Jewelers last year and the customer service at that time was good. The staff needs better training as to how to speak to customers.

DO NOT GO HERE.I had the worst experience here. The shop manager treated us very badly, without any customer etiquette. We bought a ring we wanted to exchange after 3 weeks of buying, they said they can’t do the exchange and when we requested them to help us in any which way possible, they treated us in a very derogatory manner. Their customer service is so bad that we walked out of their store in the middle of the conversation.It’s ok if they couldn’t exchange the ring, they at least could’ve conveyed the same in a polite manner.
