I spoken with Vicente Yesterday and he informed me that I’ll be able to have a friend pick up my items due to my work schedule. However once my friend arrived she was given attitude by another co worker and they refused to give her my things. I called the manager Melanie and left a voicemail however we were playing phone tag. Her last voicemail mentioned that she would leave at 4:30 and I called after and left a voicemail and now it’s the next day and no call back. I’ve called on my lunch break around 1:10pm and the girl stated she was at lunch. It’s now 2:30pm and no call back! So unprofessional and carelessness!!! They need to update their hours of operation because I could’ve picked up my items last friend, but the website said closed.

It wasnt a bad experience, but they were training a new hire and there was a lot of confusion. Everyone was polite and nice, but it did take longer than needed. Over all, I got what I needed.

So this is my first year back in college and surprisingly enough everything with admissions went relatively smooth except...receiving my books from the bookstore. I went to retrieve my books the first time and was told if I hadnt received an email I shouldnt expect my order to be ready(2-3 business days) so I waited and additional 4 days and my order status never changed online. Finally, I decided to email the manager and she told me my order had been fulfilled like 2 days after I initially paid😒. Nevertheless 2 weeks after the start of my first class I did get them.

I hope that everyone know the fact that this is the biggest library in North lake campus! But the to thing that make this library so special is the employees that work so hard to keep the best library experience for every students and visitors. With a number of computers and silent study rooms make home experience.

Lines are long sometimes, but staff is always super friendly and willing to helo you out.

Its quite an expensive place to go to. They also have a strict return policy. Things go sideways if you dont have a receipt.

A bit difficult to find. But once you make it, you are not there for long. The employees have a very efficient method that allows you to go in and out within a matter of minutes so long as you come prepared with id and phone number or confirmation number.

You can to buy everything and more, is a good places for buy school items

Always helpful and courteous. Line gets hectic but they do their best to manage it.

The store manager displays excellent knowledge of products and services and the employees are very friendly and helpful

Best time to go? DURING CLASS.I attended NLC for quite a few years. There is one lady that has been there since 2011 and she is a joy to talk to. Make sure you say Good Morning to her on your way in. Shes such a pleasure to see. Ive purchased an umbrella here, a few shirts, and a sweater due to abrupt changes in weather. Most of the merchandise is usually on sale.Ive only been once when they didnt have a book I needed. I gave 4 stars due to the student in the back and another at the counter directing me to the wrong Language software pack for a Spanish course. Double and triple check your syllabus and again with your teacher before opening any books or software in plastic. They do mention this at checkout. Its not all their fault, from the shelves, to the syllabi with various versions you CAN get, there is always room for ones own interpretation.

Good staff. I really like the manager. She is very courteous and helpful.

They need to update their hours. I cam from denton to buy a book on friday and i came at the bookstore at 2:30pm and bookstore was closed. Thanx to them now i cant study over the weekend and have test in tuesday. Wast of time and gas!!

It has alot of for students even if you just happen to be there they are a lot of souvenir and even elf makeups just in cases you run out 😂😉

Always packed the first week of classes. Try to get your books early or online.

This school sell books and use them 1 semester and dont want to buy them back. Then why sell it at 1st

I dont really know what happens but for some reason they seem to change there hours every semester. Which is a pain in the ass when getting there when they where open the semester before and are now closed, further more with a new set of hours. Also you must speak with your professor and now what they want before buying anything. Because what is posted in the bookstore database for that teacher may not be what the teacher wants. Its super frustrating having to make multiple trips to the bookstore.

Their system randomly goes down which is inconvenient because they never answer their phone and the only way one can find out is by going there (I dont live around the area so its always nerve wrecking)

Service is slow during the aftertoon so come early if you dont like waiting in line.

I will do my best to avoid dealing whit them a gian it was the worst experience

It is a very good school and the people are friendly one feels very comfortable being in NORTH LAKE
