Stay away! Not an honest place. I went to service my Nissan and next thing I know is they broke stuff under the hood. The rod that is supposed to hold the hood up was broken, fluids were not checked as promised. The person at the counter was super rude. Not going there again.

I went to this location for alignment and balance service, but they refused to honor with the 3-year alignment program that I purchased at another location. I called NTB customer service and complained about this, the customer service lady told me that she would call the store. I made the phone call in the car, the guy who told me they wouldnt honor the program came out, looked at me and shook his head. This location is not only lying, but also do not understand what customer service is. I have never seen any company treat customers in this way, very bad behavior. Then I went to the Inwood location and finished the job without a hitch. Dont go to this place, they wont treat you well.

I have been a long standing customer with National Tire and Battery. This particular location I can honestly say that the staff is super friendly and truly charismatic. Never once have I encountered bad service. They will make you laugh and you are never made to feel dumb because you dont have extensive car upkeep knowledge. Was Greg a joy to work with today, you ask? It is decidedly so!!!! Thanks for everything.

Terrible customer service. I would avoid this location if possible. Based on my experience and previous reviews seems like this location is not capable of providing fair service.Set up an appointment for a basic alignment service, once I arrived Eric inspected my vehicle and claimed I will need a Speciality Alignment. I asked what makes my vehicle not qualify for the basic alignment service and was told because its a high-end vehicle special tools are required. I have gotten alignments done several times for the same vehicle from different (NTB) locations and have never been charged for Speciality Alignment while waiting on my vehicle I called two other NTB locations and was told No, your vehicle does not need a Speciality Alignment. The funny thing is even the NTB website says the Speciality Alignment is not compatible with my selected vehicle.

Joe was super helpful, he knows what he’s talking about and won’t take advantage of you!! It’s sad seeing people talk bad about them when they don’t want to fix there car and then get upset at the technicians and service advisor. Recommend coming here they literally do everything!!!!!! Oh and Greg is cool. They always have a world class tech with all his certifications in automotive and diesel only 3 in Texas and NTB in IRVING off 635 and MacArthur!!!!!

I have been a loyal NTB customer for years at an out of state location. Moved here and was hoping to get the same service- oil change and tire rotation. After the service I noticed I got worse gas mileage- thought it must be the hot weather down here. After 1000miles I thought I’d check my KN airfilter that I had in my truck for the last 2 years - maybe it needs cleaning. Lo and behold when I checked there was a cheap white paper filter in there. No one touched my vehicle since this NTB service station! I had to buy a new KN and now getting my good gas mileage back. I hope your college kid weekend techs enjoy my $60 airfilter because that’s the last of my money you will see- ever!

Went in to by some tires and was told my struts were no good. Just had them replaced 6 months ago and so I took it back to the same mechanic who I have used for years. They told me they were perfectly fine and still under warranty. This is why people do not trust mechanics. Trying to upsell you something you do not need. Neither my wife or I will use you again!!!

Cars are stressful and usual take so long to fix. This place is fast, has a great mechanic, and is good with communication. I recommend this place to anyone who needs basic fixes to the most complex things done on your car!The only thing I can tell you is if your car is driving bad ask them to test drive it. Beware Worst experience ever!!!!!!!!! I went in for an oil change(Irving Marketplace Location), after 2 hours later my car wasnt working(seriously). I check under my hood it was so clear (even a blind man can see) that the service I had paid $56 for was not render.. My fluids wasnt checked, my car didnt even have oil in it. I went inside to let them know, the guy Josh first acted like he didnt know I just gave them my services (seriously) then he proceeded outside didnt bother to check the car to see what I was stating but had the nerves to throw what their policies( so now you know so much) at this point I realize I was dealing with a bunch of immature guys that were rude and inconsiderate. I ended up paying for more than I bargain for. ( tow truck, lyft, mechanic to look at my car.) all because of their lack of knowledge. I spoke with the service manager and advised him that I should receive a full refund ( I got it) I will bot happy with the service manager response to my issues.I never take my vehicle back there. I were a loyal customer and to be treated that way is unacceptable. Dont take advantage of people!! ( JUST BECAUSE IM A WOMAN DOESNT MEAN I DONT HAVE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT CARS) .No stars

After an alarmingly bad experience down the street at Kwik Kar, I brought my car to NTB. The tech was extremely professional and kind. He corrected the mistakes made at the other place quickly. I will be coming here for all of my oil changes/etc in the future!

The guys are quick and friendly enough. But I do have a complaint as they did my state inspection and the inspector forgot to sign my inspection. It wasnt caught until I had spent several hours at the tax assessor office and I had to drive back to NTB to get a signature and start the process all over again.

I went into this location for an oil change and alignment check. I spoke with Eric and his condescending attitude and rude tone is what caused me to walk out without service.I asked him to have my alignment checked, he proceeded to ask what’s going on with the car. I described to the best of my ability and that I know it’s the alignment. He wanted to have a debate and made the comment “that’s why we do what we do.” Even then I was going to still just get the oil changed. When I asked him about the advertised special mentioned online, his response was “I don’t know. I only know what he have in store.” At that point, it was apparent that my business was not appreciated.

Five star experience....this is my 1st experience in my life as I went 1st time for oil change and I was unaware of what oil I need and what else we need to do...But person took some details from me and came with all details about I need , he explained me which oil is good but he said its my choice which one I choose...And I asked do I need to change air filters also?He said he will check while inspecting car and if required they will ask me wheather to do or not ,But they were so honest when they came with bill it was only for oil change 49.99(fully synthetic) and I had 20 Dollers discount coupon so oil chang cost me o ly 35 Dollers and he said no air filter change is required now. ,,, happy me...

I needed my tire fixed on a Sunday. They had me in and out fast so I can attend church. Thumbs up

When I went for an oil change, they broke my car key. They assembled the key and left it on the dashboard as if nothing happened. When I tried to turn it on, it broke into pieces. Took it inside and asked the associate, he said it was broken during the oil change. The key was perfectly fine when I gave it to them. I believe they handled it roughly. They dont have the decency to at least tell me up front that the keys were broken. It shows deceit. I will never go back this place again.

This place lies. This is the second time i have tried to take my vehicle here and they lied to me. The first time, i needed a state inspection, i called ahead and they told me the guy was there till 3 and to come on up. I arrived at 1:45 to be told that the guy left at 1:30. That he always leaves at that time. Then today, i called ahead to verify that i had already purchased a front end alignment on my truck. I was told i needed a rack and pinion, that once it was fixed, bring it back within 6 months and they would check my alignment for free. Well, i called and was told yes i was in my 6 month window, to bring it in. The man on the phone told me that since i had the rack and pinion fixed, depending on the amount of alignment needed, there might be a small fee. Which i was fine with. Once i drove all the way up there, the guy at the desk proceeds to tell me that even tho i am in my 6 month window he wont do it for free and that i have to pay for a whole new alignment. Not what i was told on the phone. I explained, i just needed it checked, might not even need an alignment, said he wouldnt do anything without me buying another alignment. Poor customer service and a bunch of liars. Took my vehicle to firestone both times and got taken care of immediately with great respect. Ill never go here again, Im telling everyone not to go there and they lost this customer for life.

Making an appointment was easy. They got me in and out quicker than they said they would. I got new tires, an oil change, and an alignment. I was there less than an hour. Only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because there is clearly a sign on the door saying face coverings are required. At one point, I was the only one there with a mask and the people without masks were not following social distancing. Since its mandated in the county to wear a mask, I feel this should have been enforced.

Quickest alignment Ive ever had. No issues, clean shop! I recommend it.

It’s fine to go here if you’re just getting an oil change or tire rotation. However, I went there today and they tried to sell me a lot of things I didn’t need. I went to a dealership and they told me I didn’t need new rotors or calipers, only break pads. The also said I needed new shocks, I don’t need those either. They also tried to sell me a new battery but I didn’t need that either I asked the Nissan place and auto-zone to check both said it was fine. I’ve lost a lot of trust in NTB now. Be careful if you go here! Don’t just say yes because you don’t know! Get other opinions because they may be trying to rip you off, which was definitely the case for me today.

I came it yesterday to replace the flat tire with the spare one, the guy on front desk refused to do it saying it not safe and your studs are not original, he wanted me to buy a tire from him and even I told him I will be responsible if anything happened, he refused and made me drive on the wheel as you see in the picture to Walmart to put the spare tire , the Walmart employees changed it in 10 minuets and I drove the car more than 40 miles with spare tire

Today was my first time ever getting service at an NTB. I went in a Wednesday around 6:45 pm. I had a flat tire and needed a patch. I originally went to wal mart but there was only one guy doing tire service and he was not accepting any more cars at the time. They recommended NTB. When I got there they immediately took care of me. I was not there long. The associates were professional and polite. I had to get a new lugnut because the previous tire shop damaged one. The patch and new lugnut was $32 total. Not bad since I really needed both. Thank you to Mike and his crew. You guys were awesome.

Middle of a pandemic and this place is gross. Dead roaches and trash on floors. Urine on toilet seats. Coffee stand sticky and gross. Tables not clean. Nobody wearing masks and manager was rude. Stay away and stay safe.

I went in to get a new battery because it was old and leaking acid so I knew it was done. They came back and told me my alternator need to be replaced, which seemed odd because I didnt notice anything. I said no and then went to a another shop , a different, company and they said everything looked fine. I think they were trying to scam me so I wont be going back.

Have had many great experiences at NTB. Their staff treat you like valued customers. Easily go in and ask for the same person. Love that they have 6 months no interest financing available. They truly help me maintain my car. I am partial to Isaac.

Lack of accountability, less than mediocre work, damaging wheels... blaming machines for damages when really its someone gouging them when removing their own weights, Jason was willing to re balance my wheels, Travis however laugh that I would was working with Corp to get the wheels fixed and stated would need to pay additionally to have them re balanced. No, will just take them elsewhere and continue with the professionals at Corp.

This has been the best experience EVER, with any repair facility!! Not only were they prompt, courteous and informative about the service I was there for but they were eager to answer questions about a project car totally unrelated to why I was there. Not only am I glad to return here for my future service needs I am making sure my girl starts bringing her car there as well. I am exacty what a satisfied customer looks like. see the grin covering my whole face.

I had all 4 tires replaced and an alignment. They did it in under a hour which was good. However the salesman told me that I needed to replace my inner and outer Tie Rods on the driver side and that I needed to replace the front shocks. That would have been over $1000. I declined the service because I felt they were price gouging. I took the car to my usual mechanic who informed me that neither my shocks nor my Tie Rods needed to be replaced. He looked at the alignment printout and the alignment came out good. He said that if the Tie Rods had been bad, they never could have aligned it. Beware of the salesman who lies to make money.

Needed work done on my car and Jacob was so friendly and helpful. Need more people like him around

Rude . Lied to me about time it would take then came out and yelled at me because I questioned the initial diagnostic charge they wanted to charge. Turns out they wouldnt have fixed it even if I had paid for the diagnostic

Worst experience. Changed new tires, they replaced the TPMS SENSOR kit for $32 and asked me to drive 20miles, said the TPMS light will go off automatically. I drove miles on it, it never went away. When I went back to these guys, they are saying some inside sensor may be defective and that cost $65 each tires, thatd be almost the same price as I paid for the new tires to replace in all 4 tires. ZERO stars 🌟

I brought my car to MTB, its an older car that I want to trade in within 6 to 12 months and I wasnt looking to invest much money into it. I had a feeling that I needed four rotors and four sets of pads, The guy came out and said bad news your rear calipers and pistons had ground through to the rotors and all needed to be replaced and the front rotors and pads needed to be replaced. I called around and spoke to company that comes to your place of work or your home and does the brake job. Ive done brake jobs myself in the past I just dont have the tools or the jacks here. And all it needed was front pads the front rotors were still in plenty good condition and did not need to be turned. and the rear is definitely needed rotors and pads but no calipers and no pistons. They charge me $420 instead of NTBs quote of $2,000. Thats how much my 2005 vehicle is basically worth about $3,500 tops. I consider that to be extremely dishonest.

Well, several factors outside of service made me give this NTB a 5-Star. A coupon for $19.99 oil change and tire rotation made me check out NTB in the first place. Since I reserved my car service online for a specific time, my wait time was not long at all. Also, the customer service agent I was speaking with was very friendly and cordial (shorter, younger, African American man). I greatly appreciate the fact that at the end of the service, your center shows the color of the fluids in your vehicle compared to where they should be on the card indicator pamphlet. The gentleman did want to sell me on a fuel cleaning agent, but I declined and he wasnt pushy. Great deal and experience overall. Thanks to the gentleman and NTB in Irving,TX.

My wife stopped by on her way to work for a tire patch. They were short staffed and really backed up, told her it would be a few hours. She left her car and I picked her up and dropped her off at work. When we went back that night to pick up her car, we were handed the keys and told that the manager took care of the bill because of the long wait! Awesome service!

Showed up here needing a flat repair. Was told it was not repairable. Knew better and went to Discount Tire, where they repaired the flat for free! Avoid these incompetent rip offs and go to Discount Tire.

Go here if you want worst customer service and waste money on warranty. When inquired about warranty options about rotted tires they react as if asked for their kidneys. Will never visit this place again.

I actually stopped in during a horrible rain/hail storm to get some help with something under my car. The guys were so great and helped remove a loose cover from my vehicle. I dont live anywhere near this location, but if this is the service they provide, I know theyre good!

I had a flat on my car at around 9pm on a Sunday night.The tires were a highly specialized tire as it was a Corvette Z06, and the car doesnt have a spare. Although it did have run flats but I live in Sherman and didnt want to take a chance with my rim.So pulled up to NTB and was going to leave a note, as they were closed and noone was there.when a employee surprised me a couple of mins later as he was leaving.Rest of the story was Jason was opening the next morning I gave him my number and he, ordered the tires they came in late Monday, installed them kept the car inside over night and I picked it up Today Tueaday. Not one phone call , only two text messages and Bam,! Great price and all taken care of.Jason is awesome , and a great asset to NTB. Thanks, Jason

Im here now to get a tire changed. A hour and a half later and still waiting. And they arent even bust!!!! I explained to them when I arrived that I was in a hurry. But apparently that doesnt mean anything to them. Only 2 vechiles here before mine. And 5 people in the shop. I wont do business with this store again!!!!! I would have given them minus stars if that option was available!!!! I would of added pictures to if that option was available.

Chris did an outstanding job. Gave me a great deal on tires, and had it done in a timely manner. He even let me know what else needed to be fixed. Somehow my center cap got lost. I called up there, and Chris ordered me a new one. He had it by the next day. Five stars, will shop here again.

Worst auto shop I have ever been to and complete rip-off. They charged me $230 to replace a battery(I have never paid more than $150 for my car) which was in warranty and $130 diagnostic fee for doing nothing. I would never return here to get anything done here.

I came in for a simple oil change and tire rotation this time, but noticed before I got in the truck to leave NTB all tires was NOT rotated (the front and back tire on the passenger side was not) . I know this because I make it a point to make a reference on all tires to see if it is being done, besides light red brake dust only builds up on the front rims so thats a given clue if not touched. The front and back tires on the driver side was rotated, I guess to make me think all tires was done. They did however rotate the wheel bolt covers but not the tires. I know this because I noticed the front rim bolt cover on the passenger side is now on the rear rim and it has the brake dust from the front rim... The fact that tire rotation is free must be their excuse...I tend not to waste time listening to excuses when it was done deliberately.

This place is really quick! I enjoy watching them change, and balance the tires! Its pretty interesting. This is probably the best tire shop to go to! 10/10!

Came in on a Tuesday around 11:00 AM. Eric helped me out, he was very knowledgeable, and helpful. They completed the work in the time quoted, and at the agreed upon price. Shop and waiting area was clean and organized. 5/5 Would come back again.

NTB is a good place to buy tires, brakes and batteries. I have got my battery replaced here an also replaced all 4 tires of the cars. There are regular offers on wind shields, brakes and tires. I had an issue with the tires installed by them but they rectified the issue without any fees.

Piss poor service is a complement to these people. I wont be back and I will advise anyone who asks to avoid this place.Came in for state inspection. Give them insurance, guys says we will get right on it. After 20 minutes I start watching my car closely, because it should have already be done. At 30 minutes I get up and ask how much longer. Response I got was that the only person there today who could do inspections was out at lunch and should be back in a couple minutes. Information that would have been very useful 30 minutes earlier. I then asked for my keys back. The guy retrieves my keys and then blames the manager for not telling him the inspections worker was at lunch.If you happened to be unaware, lack of communication is not an acceptable excuse. Take ownership for your own work. These people are not there to provide a quality service, they are there to process your payment and collect their personal check for standing around the rest of the time.Update: I responded to the response from the owner and submitted a contact-us form and explained my story. I got a thank you for your submission and no follow-up.I was always curious if anything ever came of these owner responses. If they actually cared about their customers or if it was just optics to make it look like they took interest in customer complaints. So far its been the latter.

$17 for a screw on my drip pan smaller than the size of my thumb because their wrench would “strip it” and they cannot even make a low tire pressure light go off! I tried to drive off, came back because the alert was still on. It went away for a few hours and is now back. If you’re going to charge me $17 for ONE screw, you need to do your job fully.

The manager or whomever was at the desk when I came in have gave me a I dont want to service you look. I waited until he completely finish with the couple in front of me. I told the gentleman I had a. Coupon for a oil change and tire rotation. He asked if I had an appointment. I stated to he that I called earlier on my lunch and spoke with a tech. I asked the tech if I needed an appointment. He told me that I didnt need an appointment just walk in. Now the tech that Im speaking to says that should have schedule an appointment, now it will take 2 hours. There were only a handful of cars parked and 3 maybe in the working area. Obviously he didnt want my business. I hope he doesnt experience this when he is in need of service.

I had front struts replaced. Two days later I started hearing clunking/creaking noises related to front suspension. I opened the hood and also realized that they did not finish putting closeout panel back together where top of strut is mounted.UPDATE: Updated rating. I took my vehicle back and they found one of the struts was defective (manufacture defect). So they replaced it under warranty. Manager was good about explaining the issue and getting it resolved.

Two bad experiences in a row with this place, never coming back again. First time I was waiting for three hours for my oil to be changed, only to have them tell me my car had been “accidentally skipped”. And that was after the fact that I had been asking them if there was a problem and they assured me there wasn’t. Now today, I give them a second chance, and they inform me they can’t change my oil because they “hear a sound.” Literally made no sense. On top of that, it was completely hot in there with no care for the customers. Guy before me left disappointed as well. Absolutely dreadful experience.

Keep your word about time frame or dont promise about the time.I fixed an appointment online , then called the service center about the duration of service as I had an urgent appointment after one and half hour. The receptionist named Jayson on the phone told me they will complete the service in an hour; so I proceeded to the center. But once I was there in 5 minutes, the receptionist had an attitude. I requested him as I had talked over the phone. But he said they can not complete the service in less than 2 hours.Serve as you promise, or dont promise.

Awesome service and experience. I went there because my tire had been having prior issue. I was hoping that I didnt need to buy a new tire. Sure enough they checked my tire ad said it was fine They put air in all of my tires and sent me on my way. They were very professional and most importantly they didnt try to sell me something that I didnt need. I trust this place completely and will use them always!!!

Went on a Saturday for a normal oil change and to rotate tires. Easy enough. After I get my car back, the windshield where the new mileage sticker was was greasy, as well as the interior of the car and and area on the outside of the car. First time I ever had a garage leave grease spots on my car. After I get my car back, I notice the front tires making a loud sound when I go down the interstate. I take it back for them to say I need new tires. Why wasnt this discovered the first time? I risked my life because of their negligence. Go to Firestone, unless you like your car dirty and stuff not done properly.

I purchased 4 tires back on May 2018. I returned for 02/28 for tire repairs covered by road hazard warranty. Poor service shop could not find issue said tire was good. Shop put air in tire said your good. Next morning my tire was flat I could see small hole where air came out. Returned to shop after putting on spare shop fixed tire after I marked hole. Front office dirty bathrooms smelled and dirty staff never explained what happened or gave me there names or introduced there self. I will never return to this NTB. 👎I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Apparently can not align stock 2015-2016 Ford Focus ST and will refer to the grapevine mills location. Sub par customer service in handling the situation.

I woke up on a Sunday with a low tire, so the only option I had was to go to NTB (in Grapevine).The gentleman running the front told me that it should take about 45 minutes for his guys to get to me. I felt like it was a bit long, but understood since I just walked in. An HOUR LATER, I asked him when he thought his guys may be starting on my car, no one had even looked at my car at this time. He sharply answered that I would be next and that he had quite a few people ahead of me! I said well he had told me 45 minutes and I had no ideal of knowing how many people were ahead of me. After feeling completely disrespected and disregarded and still waiting, I requested my keys and simply drove home.My tire stayed up through the night and I called DISCOUNT TIRE the next morning. I was in, tire repaired and out within 15 MINUTES!I will NEVER GO BACK TO NTB AGAIN.At DISCOUNT TIRE, the intelligent staff is polite, courteous and very prompt.Thank you DISCOUNT TIRE!

NTB is our preferred car service center. They were able to match the dealership price on our latest car repair. They are always professional and the car was available in the time stated.

The team here was honest, straightforward, and hard working. They really went the extra mile and took good care of me. I will be back.

Called before I went to ensure they could get me in. They said Yes! Come on in. After a 20 minute commute I arrived. Was greeted with a hi, we are busy now. Can we reschedule you for tomorrow? It was a complete waste of time and gas. Most important, why not schedule me over the phone when I first called in? I guess it just makes too much sense.

If you call these guys, make sure you remember the name of the person who answers. I just wasted my time driving up after calling and being told they could change my oil by the end of the day. I live about 4 miles away and drove there as soon as I hung up the phone. The employee informed me that they were too busy and I could schedule for tomorrow, and that he wasnt sure who I talked to. It was a pretty worthless experience for me as a customer, so I wont bother returning.

Bought my tires with a warranty two years ago. I have had a bolt in my tire and last week I had a screw and another hole in two separate tires. The bolt was enormous and the patch wasn’t going to work on a hole that big, so I paid $50, and bam, new tire. That was a year ago. Last week I realized my tire was low and it wasn’t just a temperature change. I filled it, and another one that wasn’t as low. The next day my tire pressure light came on, and I checked the front one....it lost 20lbs of pressure overnight! I filled it again, and that’s when I found the screw. Yeesh. So, I made an appointment online for it to get fixed. I showed up, and waited my turn, and then when my car was all done, I was sent on my way! They were able to patch the two tires, and I didn’t owe anything for the experience.

Done wheel alignment, paid sneaky 10% shop fees, carefully disguised as taxes and everything. I am not against fees when they are openly disclosed.

Life savers! I called 30 mins before they closed and a kind man by the name of Isaac said come on in. My tire was fixed! Sorry I was that last minute customer. The staff was kind definitely recommend NTB!

Went here for an alignment on my BMW. A month later, after noticing the car was pulling right and the wheel wasnt centered, I took the car to another location in Dallas where they told me anything was completely of whack. The complete realignment took 1.5 hours to complete-everything needed to be adjusted again. The worse part is that they had seen many cars in the same condition after being serviced by this location. Avoid if you care about quality work and not having to redo work.

A good place to take care of any tire issues you might have. Employees are courteous and the service is quick.

2 little stories if you are thinking about going here to get anything done.The first happened when we were getting an oil change and my wifes headlight light was out. They told her they could fix it for about $70 and she could expect the same price anywhere else. Luckily she has brains and beauty, and knew that seemed too high. We got it fixed for about $10.The second time we went there was because we had a coupon for a free oil change. Well they called my wife while they were doing the oil change and said they were unable to do it due to the oil pan and plug being loose (is that even a real thing?). I asked them how much it would cost, and they guy said to get it from the factory and install it would cost around $400. I went and picked it up and took it to Valvoline where they did the oil change for $25. I asked if there was anything else wrong and the Valvoline employee said there was a loose piece, but it was an easy fix.So in summation, dont go here for anything.
