I have had to change my rating on this company. I went there to have heal dents and freshing up my paint on my car. After I got my car it had circles in the paint, I gave it back to then for 4 days to fix the issue. I got it back with compound all over it. The people are very nice - just didnt do a good job. Smh

I come in to have my car repaired after a collision on a roadtrip and get an estimate of 8 business days to do the repair on 3/20. I never received a call from the shop, so I reached out about 2 weeks after and was told it will be ready 4/10. I receive a call 4/9 or 4/10 stating the wheel needs to be replaced (although Im astonished that after 3 weeks nobody noticed this detail), and a replacement cant arrive until 4/13 or 4/14.I already have a flight booked that I cant cancel, so I arrive 4/11. I never receive a call, so I call back late 4/13. Apparently, the wheel hasnt arrived, but I dont get a straight answer when that will be. I decide to stay until 4/17 to see if the situation can be resolved. After repeated calls, nobody has a clear answer even after I express extreme displeasure. I have a prior important engagement, so I fly back to MN.I dont receive confirmation the car is ready until 4/21, over a month after I brought it in. I come to pick it up 4/30 after calling the day before to notify I will pick it up in the morning. When I got there, the license plates were still not on the car. I found the screws in the cup holder. I then turn the car on, and it shows a warning about a malfunction about the front right headlight. I open the hood, and lo and behold, the electrical wire isnt connected.After all my expenses based on bad info and shoddy workmanship, I couldnt resist writing this. In over 31 years of living, I have never posted a review or complained online since I like to see the best in people, and you never know for sure the circumstances involved. However, some offenses are too egregious to let go.Edit: Oh and I almost forget, there was still painting tape on the car! Obviously, this isnt hard to address yourself, but Im more annoyed by the gall to not check basic things after such a long time (or maybe it was on purpose? FYI, I was very polite and patiant until about 3-4 weeks in).

I have had my Infiniti I-30, Mercedes Benz SUV & Hummer H3 repaired & painted in less than less six months at Maaco of Irving & when I tell you that they all were done way better than I imagined! The owner & their staff really made me feel like I was one of their family members & I am just overwhelmed with each one of my vehicles! Everyone has been asking me who done them & my own brother is bringing his Dodge Ram truck over 900 hundreds miles just to be done by them! So must I say anymore about how I feel about this place!

After an unfortunate hail storm, I was left to travel 3 hours away due to an influx of claims in my local area. I reached out to Maaco and advised the owner of my situation. She went out of her way to accommodate my car intake on a weekend. Why Maaco? While they are not a preferred shop for my particular insurance, I wanted peace of mind. This shop is unique, Woman, Minority and Veteran Owned! From intake, through my entire claim process (4 weeks), Sonia and her team consistently provided proactive communication with myself and my insurance company. If you are looking for an honest, professional, non-price gouging shop I highly recommend. Keep up the great work!

Took my truck to get it painted. I wanted the exact factory color and let me tell you......this place did not disappoint. My truck looks brand new! The young lady that helped me was so friendly and so nice. She explained everything to me and made suggestions that would benefit my pocket instead of trying to upsell me. When I walked in she remembered my name and knew exactly what car was mine. They had it ready exactly when they said they would. The owner came out while I was there and she explained everything that had been done. She is a veteran and I am so happy to support local small veteran and woman owned business! You must take your car to Maaco Irving.

I have to call them many times because nobody responds my messages and every time I call they are not ready with my job so he has been 2 weeks telling them frequently and until now they dont have any date to say when the piece will arrive a mirror that cost less than $100 they are charging me $300 even when I already paid the price of it they are very unresponsible and they dont tell me when it would be ready.I do not recommend this place to no one who want an efficient service you better go somewhere else because if you dont have nothing to do, and all the time of life to wait this is the right place to go.

My fair and honest Maaco review. First I need to point out that maacos paint contract clearly states that there may be slight over spray and minor runs. They give you that on paper if you decide to actually read the full estimate. So lets start with my opinion on the staff and the facility. I had contact with four of their staff members and they all seem polite. One thing that made me uncomfortable was the working area where they had cars placed seemed extremely cluttered and lacked organization. I also noticed a lot of used rusted razor blades in the back parking lot which seems kind of risky with all those car tires. I was quoted 5 to 7 business days for a change of color on my Hummer. It ended up taking 10 business days which isnt too bad. The price was fair I paid less than 1100 for a complete change of color. Now I will discuss the paint job. As I figured there was minor over spray on some of the plastic trim but nothing outrageous. There was some paint on the chrome door handles and edges of the windows but it comes off those types of materials with your finger nail so its not a big deal. I looked up the price of what youd consider a show room or straight out of the factory paint job and the lowest I found was over 5000 dollars and the estimate was about a month for completion. Maaco doesnt strip your vehicle down to the core and paint they mask and tape like most paint shops. So at Maaco youll recieve an economical paint job with minor imperfections. If you want a flawless paint job youll need to go somewhere that specializes in that and be prepared to pay five times more. So would I recommend Maaco for a simple paint job? Yes I would. Would I recommend you take a1960s show truck to Maaco for a paint job? No I would not because they dont specialize in show room paint jobs. I also think its important to note that the Irving Maaco had a change of management about two years ago so any reviews you read past two years old isnt an accurate description of the current staff.

I went to get quote for scratches on my car. They treated me well, provided enough information, and compared to service king and calibre collision center Maaco quote was very reasonable.

They did a good job on the paint. But the detail shop delivered my car that had been covered in dust. The attempt to clean it off was very poor. The license plate holder was not tightened, thus scratching the newly painted bumper.

Maaco is amazing. Some paint had peeled off the bumper of my car. They made my car look like new! They even somehow fixed an old dent that had rust on my trunk. It’s totally gone! I was reluctant to go there, but I am so glad I did!

Alice and Sonya were absolutely wonderful. I had to have a side mirror and bumper painted and they gave me a very fair and reasonable price. They only charged me a 10th of what I was being quoted at Caliber Collision and the dealership and it was ready in 3 days.

I was traveling down 121 when a pickup truck hit a piece of tire that flew, hit my bumper and almost tore it off. It smashed the lower grille and engine splash shield to pieces and dented my radiator. I purchased my own bumper, grille and splash shield. I called several other places for a quote. Maaco was the most reasonably priced. They only charged me $382 to paint the bumper, install it and the grille and the splash shield! They did an awesome job! Looks better than it did before. Only took a couple of days. Definitely will be using them again and highly recommend them.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS WONDERFUL!Dont be discouraged by your thoughts of the old paint jobs for $1 back in the day... These guys do a bang up job!!My 2010 Tacomas clear-coat was flaking horribly so I brought it in for a complete paint job and it came out even better than I had hoped for! There was no over spray and it had a smooth finish (they sanded it all down so theres no uneven paint)!! The cost was a wee bit over $800 with a 4 year warranty and I couldnt be happier! The only issue Ive noticed is the trim around the fender flares is bubbling up/peeling, so I will be taking it in to be fixed.After painting, they even replaced the badges/decals which are perfectly placed & straight. Also, just FYI, my truck had pin-striping before paint and none after paint. I really thought I would miss the striping, but I actually prefer it without. It truly dated my truck and now the Tacoma looks new and fresh!I am so pleased with how my truck has turned out, that I am taking my wifes Kia Rio5 in for a new coat!Hope ur able to get a good idea from these pics. The hood was the absolute WORST with the clear coat flaking off so that was the biggest and most beautiful change!!Time-wise, it took a few days longer than estimated, but why rush them? It was worth the wait.

The lady that gave me estimate on my 2015 Silverado was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.

I went in for a quote and was given 2, first for the blended paint job with a 3 year warranty and second for the 2 cost paint job with a 5 year warranty. I choose the 5 year plan paint job and about 2 weeks later dropped the truck off. I was told to bring the truck in on a Monday and I should get it back on Friday. Drop off Monday but didnt get it back until the next week Tuesday due to personnel issues at the shop. Understandable but no communication from the shop made thing irritating. When we got the truck back I noticed the piece that covers the rear windshield wiper mounting bolt was broken. They replaced it. While fixing an unrelated issue under the hood I noticed they did not pull the hood and fix the corrosion that was on the under side of the hood. Same corrosion was on the top so figured they would look all over the hood but no. Few days later it rained went to use the back wiper and found it as installed upside down. Also noted the inside of truck had dirty boot prints from where they stood on my chairs to grind the roof or something and it busted the handle that makes seat back adjust.The paint looks good but when I paid I noticed they charged me for the 3 year warranty job and thats the paint they put on. They did bump the warranty to 5 years but attention to detail goes a long way.If you need to get your car or truck painted these guys will do it but give yourself about 2 full weeks and make sure you walk the full vehicle and check every inch before taking possession.

Took my 94 Chevy truck in for painting and David gave me a good quote and said they would beat the Lubbock boys Maaco paint job. Lubbock Maaco only painted my hood and it was good 3years later. this time Irving Maaco painted it all and Truck is glass smooth perfect blueish purple. Awesome! Thank you David. Took in my white BMW because I wanted a change and wasnt sure at that point what color I wanted, I just knew I wanted something new. After speaking with the manager and looking at all the options I had, I decided on a dark blue. The manager was very helpful and answered all my questions. I applaud his patience with me because I was very indecisive what color I wanted. Once my car was ready and I saw it for the first time, I ABSOLUTELY love the way it came out!! I get excited every time I see my car. The color was just the one I wanted and I am so grateful to the manager for suggesting it to me! I highly recommend this location to any one and would come back to them for future paint jobs!

Friendly and courteous people. Went for an estimate on damage received in a rear end collision. Their estimate was right in line with another I had gotten that day. Pouring rain started and the one guy offered to bring my car into the garage so I wouldnt get soaked but he would. Havent had any work done yet and decision as to where may not be mine so I cannot speak to workmanship.

I am very pleased with the work that was done on my truck. They paid attention To all the details of the truck body and sanded it and painted it in the exact color I wanted. The results were a lot of head turns when I drive-in my truck. They even put my custom emblem on the truck and made it that much more awesome!

Maaco turned our ugly, paint-peeled, weather-beaten 1999 Miata into a beautiful masterpiece. I see why numerous auto resellers and dealerships turn to them for painting their used cars. Just had them repaint my 07 civic coupe with the terrible clear coat failure they all seem to get. It came out amazing! I did some prep work myself because the clear coat was flaking off so badly, because of this other Maacos didnt want to work with me. David took it in no problem and even did some additional sanding in areas I missed. The paint came out great! I would recommend this Maaco over any other franchises in the DFW area!

This deserves no stars. We took our Toyota Tacoma in 3 weeks ago. They said it’d be done in 1 week. It took 2 weeks!!! They left 3 big paint drip marks on the back. 1 on the side of the door. They even forgot to put our logos back on! Would not recommend this location. I spoke to the manager and he laughed. (This is the Irving TX location)

I took my camry for some dents and scratches. They were able to fix it for a reasonable price and did a good job at it. The only thing I would say is add 1-2 days to their time estimate. Other than that they are awesome and I highly recommend them.

Took my 2000 Volvo in Tuesday, got it back Friday. Looks great! And for a fraction of the price I would have paid elsewhere. I highly recommended this place.

I had my truck painted there a few years and they did a good job. Also had my Mercedes side cladding and bumper painted a few years back. Same results and experience Went back today to get a estimate on just getting a hood painted on my 2nd work truck. The estimator gave me an estimate of $350 just to paint the hood. The whole 4 door truck estimate was $1050. Does that make any sense? The estimator was also not very friendly. I think there is new management there because the Estimator I used in past is no longer there.

I stop by thinking I would need as new paint job on my door and hood and the young gentleman brought out some rubbing compound and a little elbow grease and save me $500 I can’t thank him enough at this Maaco location I think they did great service and I really appreciate them taking their time on my car

Took my Honda AccordFirst of all Lonnie was nice and patient enough to answer all my questions. He also showed me the cars which his crew was working on in the shop. I also went to other MAACOs but they gave me a higher price for the same job. I gave my car on a Monday for a complete paint job and to replace two doors. I took my car back the next Monday with a fantastic paint job. He also fixed some dents on the doors at no charge.*********I highly recommend this place if you need any body work or paint job done***********

Ladies beware ...... I pulled imy car in on a Friday to get a estimate on re painting of my bumper that was peeling off, the young Hispanic guy gave me a estimate of $226.00 out the door that included tax, supplies and all, asked him what was the best day to drop it off he said Monday. Well come Monday morning I pull in to drop it off and the older white guy decided to go up on the quote that the Hispanic guy had given me, of course I was a bit upset because he wouldn’t honor the quote that was given to me by the Hispanic guy, the owner white guy explained that no matter what I was quoted he was going to charge the increase amount of $268.00 and that the owner was going to penalize his out his own pocket if he did the Hispanic quote, all that was bs and the older white guy was very rude and said that u can leave your care or not he really didn’t care, and that I wouldn’t find a cheaper price, and the owner told him not to take any car for repair under $450.00. I was like wow, but what he didn’t know is I contacted my insurance company before I took my car in, so I knew he was overcharging me my insurance came out to estimate the damage as 228.00 and nothing more before I even took it to Maaco. So I knew what was a fair price thru my insurance adjuster. The owner guy saw a women and decided to take advantage of me by setting the price higher. So ladies please do your research before pulling in any repair shop or definitely Maaco on n story in Irving Tx. If this is how they treated there customers they will not be open long. I will leave it to my higher God to handle them.

I called in to see if Maaco had manifold exhaust bolts or knew of somewhere that might. The call lasted 30 seconds because Dave said they only do paint. Im sorry but I could have sworn that yall did collision. Anyways, when I asked if he had any recommendations on where to look, all he said was to find a mechanic shop. Way to go Maaco! And Dave, you should ask a coworker for help instead of just turning me away. Looks like Im getting my truck painted elsewhere.

David sharp is very unprofessional and rude and ignorant. I brought my 2010 Ford F-150 be painted and repair. At first everything looked fine as soon as I started to inspect my car realize the color was completely off and scratch and dent in offline. I was so upset David started to arguing with me just make excuses but never said sorry or even fix the problem. Please dont go here

Similar to what others are saying, I cant recommend Maaco, or at least this Irving location. There is a cavalier attitude from not just Dave but the others. I had to bend over backwards to get anyone to acknowledge my instructions for work and care procedures I wanted done for my car. And still, my requests were ignored. The whole process dealing with Maaco was VERY nerve-racking and stressful. Maaco does not specialize in performing high quality work and they will say so in their disclaimer note that you must sign prior to them starting on your car. The body work came out pretty good, that part surprised me. But I was even more surprised of how much dirt they trapped under the new paint job, overspray, runs, parts having to be resprayed. Im so glad its over.

I took my Honda Accord they had done great job.Quite frankly the best place to take your vehicle for repairs in DFW. Without a doubt there is no other place out there with better service and workmanship. From the very first call, everyone was sincerely polite and provided great customer service. They really do go above and beyond. My car looks incredible, no one can even tell it was ever in a wreck. It might even look better now than it did before the accident. I have had 2 cars worked on by Dave and his folks, and will take other work there as well. It is true that the work will probably take longer than expected, but the quality of the work is very good. One project was repairing some significant rust damage on a 1991 Ford Explorer. Dave cautioned that the rust could come back, but he would do the best he could within my budget. The result was a quality repair, and the results remain today, nearly 3 years after the repair. The other was a very involved restoration of a 1967 Impala SS that had significant rust and body damage and had been neglected for 30 years. The transformation was nothing short of spectacular, although it did take nearly 6 months to complete. It wasnt a concours restoration, but its extremely high quality for the price. I have a 1972 Gran Torino Im looking to restore, and I will be taking it to Dave to do the work.

I took my car to have the front bumper fixed a while back. It took them 3x longer than they had originally estimated. They called me up there 3 times telling me my car was done and each time the bumper was crooked or sticking out on one end. Its not like I was looking for something to gripe about, it was just THAT obvious. How they thought it was ok to return the car to me like that is beyond me. After sending my car back to them a third time, they said it was done and it really wasnt but I needed my car so I figured Id cut my losses and take it.Fast forward maybe a week or so to my car overheating and dying on i20. Well come to find out these dumbasses left loose nails, bolts, and the like right under my hood and they fell into the motor and ruined it. Had to rebuild the engine. They honestly dont even deserve 1 star.

HORRIBLE service. I was told it would take a day for my car to be finished it took 2 and I was the one calling not them calling me on updates. I was given an estimate and then I was told that they had to order a part and my amount changed. I feel customers should be called once estimates change and parts are ordered and put on your car.The worse thing was I took a picture of my milage and tire pressure screen on my car. When I got my car it came with a HUGE screw in my front tire costing me even more money. Of course no workers knew how the screw got there, but they had my car for 2 days and I didnt come in with the screw.

Please look at my complaint on the BBB before choosing this Maaco to paint your vehicle. They do not have the skills to match paint, prep and sand, dent repair, or masking, They got grey primer on my chrome and all over the plastic and rubber step pads. I paid $1400 and got a $500 paint job that has orange peel, runs and wrinkles. They also kept my chrome emblems and door edge guards. See my unresolved complaint on BBB . Dave is a fast talker and does not listen to what it is that you want. If he would have listened to me and been honest with me about their capabilities then maybe we would have had a different outcome. I WOULD NOT TRUST THESE GUYS TO PAINT EVEN A LITTLE RED WAGON. I brought my car here for a paint job , I left my car in the care of Andrew the rep. Andrew the rep gave me a great price for the paint job and when I picked up my car in 5 business days they had my car shining like a million pesos. The experience I also learned as a customer from reading these reviews is dont believe eveything you read and remember there is always two sides to a story. There are good and bad people as customers or business and I would recommend this Maaco to any one .
