A great big Thank you! to Debbie and John at ScottNetworks for all their help upgrading my Mac laptop and desktop, especially after that laptop hard drive died on untimely death one mid-week morning. They had me back up and running quickly, and then fine-tuned their work over the following week. Great work at a reasonable price!
Many thanks to the folks at Scott Networks. When I brought my macbook pro in, they diagnosed it and gave me the price. Afterward, when they found that the problems went deeper than expected, they persisted until it was fixed and only charged me for some extra hardware and not all the extra time it took to fix it. It runs like new.
BUYER BEWARE!!Last month, my moms PC wouldnt turn on, so she dropped it off at Scott Networks. They called to say the entire PC was beyond repair, and that no data from the hard drive was recoverable, unless she wanted them to send it to a “very expensive” place that might recover her data. However, when I got home from college I plugged her supposedly torched hard drive into my laptop, and there was all her data, perfectly intact.Evidently, Scott Networks was lying to her outright! My mom asked for a refund for the $85 they charge for diagnostics, but they rudely declined, even though the diagnosis was completely false. They only offered her a caddy (for the hard drive that they had previously claimed was unrecoverable). They even had the nerve to try to sell her a new PC. I guess that’s how they make their money: pretend people’s computers are broken when they aren’t and then charge them top dollar for a new one.I feel so bad that this happened to my mom and that I wasnt able to help her in time. It makes me wonder about all the other innocent customers who have been swindled by this company and are none the wiser. Please don’t let these people get their hands on your computer or your money!
After seeing the other reviews I can tell this companies business model is to buy junk sell it as a good equipment and then charge you again when you come back because its not working 2 months later.I purchased a laptop at Scott Networks and it stopped working 2 months later. I brought it back and they told me the motherboard was junk. They wanted me to pay over $200 to tell me the computer I just bought was junk 2 months after I bought it. Buyer beware.
Hands down this was one of my best business experiences of 2020. Super professional and organized, Scott Networks is one-stop-shopping for anything technical with your iPad, computer or phone. They also do home visits--which worked perfectly for our busy schedule. I highly recommend Scott Networks!
Fantastic customer service, the techs are efficient amd to the point.
Highly recommended. I have an old set of Sennheiser bluetooth headphones that wouldnt hold a charge. Debbi and Scott quickly diagnosed the issue and ordered replacement batteries. The repaired headphones work like new.
