These guys are great 👍. The prices are exellent and the work is on point , they have done 2 classic trucks for me now and did an awesome job. One of the other things that impressed me is before they even open Ione of the guys will walk the lot and curb near the street and pick up.trash as well.as clean the lobby . I love everything about this place. Years ago, I was desperately in need. I was financially struggling and my car was a complete wreck. I was desperately in need of something positive in my life. My car was split underneath by the headers and was crazy loud, I didnt have a ton of money and I just needed my muffler fixed at a reasonable on the cheaper side price. With no options available I came into American Muffler and was treated like I was their family from the start. They fixed my muffler to perfect working order and sent me on my way for next to nothing. These people care about what they are doing and care about if their customers are safe on the road. If they try to sell you extra things they will take you out to the bay and show you what is wrong and why it is wrong, super honest people here. If you want the most honest muffler shop in Indianapolis in my opinion, you need to come here. I live in Greenfield now and I still make the hike out to American Muffler. I have tried the muffler shop in Greenfield on Main St and They immediately lied to me, and told me my 87 Trans Am was an exotic sports car and needed a special muffler and it was going to be expensive. Definitely going to stick with what I know is good from now on. You wont be disappointed.

I drive past this place every day on my way to work. I went to Ralphs muffler twice and was quoted with over $400 of work on my car. This one particular day, I actually looked up and saw the sign for Muffler Automotive. I walked in and was greeted by Gary who was friendly and courteous. He took my car back right away and gave me a quote of about $130 bucks. I was so excited by the wonderful news. The following day I took my car in and had it ready by the end of the day. This place is fast, nice and does not appear to try to get over on people. Be prepared to have a good laugh to with Gary. I recommend this place and will tell all my family and friends about their wonderful service.

Everyone I know recommended this place to me.The two guys I talked to were very friendly.I honestly brought a piece of junk to them hoping for good news. My 99 Sunfire was completely missing the entire exhaust system.The guy gave me a break down of what it would cost for each part and labor. He told me he would gladly do it, but to be honest, the car was dangerous to drive and not worth putting the money into.Two days later, the car went out on me beyond repair. So he saved me a lot of money when he couldve just done the work anyway without telling me.Any garage that is straight up honest with me has my business.

This place rocks!! I was having issues with my muffler and wanted to get my vehicle to A.M. but I wasnt able to take off work to do so. I talked with Gary and he gave me the okay to have my car towed to A.M. My car arrived at 9:30 and was completed by noon. The vehicle work is excellent but so was the total cost of the services!!! I paid a price of under $60 that I probably would have paid $300 for elsewhere. I would recommend this repair shop to everyone in the Indy area. I will definitely be back if I need any more car services! You cant go wrong with American Muffler, trust me!

This place stays busy. Lucky for me, I got right in and had a new muffler and tailpipe installed in an hour. That even included parts delivery time! Two hundred bucks didnt seem too high, but I didnt shop it. My neighbors recommended this place and I recommend it to!

Good service, even charged my battery when it ran down. Once they started on my muffler I was in and out in a very reasonable time.

I will never go there again omg took my car there on a Friday 3:30pm the guy told me a hour so I left ask him to call me when done he call me 4:45 said it was finish made it up there at 5:10 they was gone in the win kept my car till Saturday now I’m not upset about you ready to get home to your family but not even a courtesy call hey we close at 5 if you not here at 5 you will have to wait until Saturday morning or the next business day or something like that
