I also cant figure out where the negative reviews come from (maybe a competitor?). Been renting from Dave here and there for 25 years. Always had what I need at a good price and always easy to deal with.

I cant figure out who the negative reviews came from because they cant be talking about the Tipton Sound and Lighting Ive worked with.Ive bought stuff from them and rented stuff from Tipton for over 20 years and theyve always been great. Reasonable prices, easy to get along with, good inventory. Best backline rental prices in town too.(I run a small sound company. I wouldnt blame them if they wouldnt give me the time of day, since I sort of compete with them, but nope, theyve always treated me well!)

Worst rental company ever. I called to get a quote for a two day event later this fall in Bloomington. The gentleman on the phone rudely told me that it would be $10,000 a day to rent a system from them, no where near the listed prices on the website. Ive never be so insulted, especially when trying to bring someone buisness because they were recommended. Tipton sound and lighting is a crude establishment. Stay away at all costs!!!
