We LOVE the Forest Flower!!! My girlfriend is a plant mom and as our apartment has filled with plants Ive become a passive admirer as well. We love coming here among the many nurseries and plant shops in Indy. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and the selection is always great. It also seems like the inventory of non plant products rotates pretty regularly so its always fun to come in and see whats available.I would 100% recommend coming in to check out this awesome local spot!

Took my wife here for her birthday and she absolutely loved the experience. The terrarium bar was awesome. There was a good variety of plants and the staff was very friendly and helpful! 10/10 recommend.

This little place is so cute!!!! love their little houseplant room and they have setup everything to be very covid safe.... definitely will be going again they have some very original items if your into plants you definitely need to stop in and see them!!!

Have been looking for a place like this, but this is ever better than my imagination. We came 5 minutes to close but they let us look quickly. Bought some great plants and a basket where the proceeds go to the women that made it in Africa. The staff that helped us invited us back and told us about the other things we could check out next time. Very friendly and beautiful place.

I am so happy to have re-discoverd this garden center. My experience with my granddaughter was lovely.The associate Abby was very knowledgeable and friendly. What a wonderful resource this center has. Prices are fair as well. Well be back again soon.

This adorable place had some of the most unique plants I’ve seen in a store. My kids loved the chickens and donkeys on the property.

This has become one of my favorite shops in Indy - so many lovely plants to choose from, and such knowledgeable staff! Their selection runs from easy-going beginner plants to rare, exotic beauties I hadnt even heard of before visiting. My red maranta is one of my favorites.If youre not sure what plant to pick yet, you can always give the cute donkeys in the back a visit, too. And of course, seeing Smokey the Cat always makes my day.

The Forest Flower is worth a visit for a number of reasons: the beautiful plants, lesser known varieties, great prices, diy custom houseplanting and terrariums. But by far, their greatest asset is their extremely knowledgeable owner on site, ready to answer any number of questions about how to plant and care for your plant investment in our local context. Any business that educates its customers as well as does business with them is worth its salt!

A hidden gem! We purchased our Christmas tree and greenery here for the first time. A well stocked garden shop and all of the holiday necessities!

So eclectic and hip. You can find all the trends here. They had Pamapas in two different sizes. They also have different colour moss balls and moss sheets. They have so many different vessels, vases and pots for any decor. So many RH dupes and trendy peices. Their decor inside the gift shop is so cute and aesthetic. So glad I found this little gem.

I always go here to get bales or bags of straw. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I asked to look at a an old box on a high shelf. The lady at the register didnt hesitate to help me. I appreciate such great customer service. You might ask if you can visit the miniature donkeys in the back.

Love this place! I was looking for a specific but somewhat obscure succulent that they didnt carry, but ordered it for me. Within a couple of weeks, the plants came in and I bought two of them. Great customer service and more than reasonable prices.

Chased out of store like a pariah for not having face mask on! Checked website to see if this was a requirement before driving 45 minutes to see what they had. Update your website if you are requiring people to wear masks!! Offer disposable masks?? Was offered the opportunity to purchase a mask at 4$/pc. Beautiful but overpriced plant. unfortunately youve lost a customer for life! We all have kids and loved ones to protect! UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE! Been coming to this shop for about 6 months and have bought so many plants and pots over that time. Love the small family owned shop, they know me by name since I go there on lunch breaks all the time. Highly recommend if your interested in a wide variety of plants and supporting an awesome local business.

Absolutely lovely! The Owner gave me some very good information, and answered all of the questions I had about my plants. My little boy also loved being able to choose a book from their mini free library.

Went there today they had a good selection of house plants but many of them didnt look so good and there prices are too high, but the services was great the lady was so nice I did ask some questions she didnt have any answers. I did buy one plant. There was a customer in line that was buying a plant and I asked her if I could buy a piece of it from her She said yes Ill give you a piece for free, the cashier buddy in and told her to give me a finger tip sized peace instead of a bigger piece that she was going to give me it was none of her business. I thought she was out of line for saying anything.

I should have stopped in here sooner. They have a plethora of beautiful plants to choose from and the service is fantastic! Prices are fair. Everyone working there is so helpful. There were plenty of them around to answer questions and they loaded everything up for me as I was picking it out.I bought a whole bunch of organic herbs, a planter, and supplies and theyre all holding up well. When I get around to redoing my bushes, Ill be back! Thank you!

Love the Garden Center. They have great people who will take the time to help you and answer questions. Their stock is high quality and cared for. They will also special order plants and items for you that you want. Ive done a price comparison and their prices are competitive. You cant beat their service and it is a MUCH more pleasant and personalized shopping experience than going to one of the big box stores.

You can browse outside on the fresh air in any way you please. Need to come inside to find some bird seed or grab a houseplant, use that hand sanitizer where we can see you and use a mask!No mask? No bueno.Seem strict? Yeah sorta. But when you see how folks cant figure it out for themselves, I appreciate that this place has stepped up and spelled it out for folks. No questions here, just gorgeous plants and a sigh of relief that shopping in person can feel a bit less stressful.

We live right around the corner from here and cant say enough good things about it. Its local, its family owned, they have a great stock (and if they dont have it, theyll order it), and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always offers to load my car. I dont have any negatives except that it can be hard to get in during the week after work hours sometimes.Overall: one of my favorite stores in the city, and not just gardening.

I came to The Garden Center for a last minute yard crisis. Patty assisted me with gladness! She is very knowledgeable and patient (seeing how I dont know the first thing about gardening). There was a large variety of flowers, plants & shrubs, but she assisted me with picking out the best for my property. I was set up for delivery and planting right away, which puts me out of crisis mode. Thanks Garden Center! As long as the planting and delivery goes well, I will be sure to use them for future needs.

I lived near here for 25 yrs and now am happy to drive back 30 miles. Super knowledgable, they have done everything from trucking my 12 foot Christmas tree to my house to starting seedlings of a tomato variety I love to can for me. Love their Facebook page, reminds me several times a week what I need to be keeping up with. Sure it costs more than big box, but you are getting much cleaner, healthier and more diverse selection.
