From start to finish I was impressed with the professionalism of this small, family-owned and operated business. I first spoke with the most charming young lady - Rachel. Due to a miscommunication by the funeral home, my friends mothers headstone was not included in her memorial package. I contacted a few friends who decided to pitch in, in lieu of flowers, and make this grave stone happen for our dear friend and her lovely mother who had just passed. I believe the coordination effort for the headstone is usually guided by the funeral home, but I set out to find a local company and ran across Thomas. I was impressed by the honesty (including details regarding cemetery rules) and plethora of information on their website and gave them a call. I had no idea the first thing to ask and Rachel was extremely patient and very informative. She told me considerations I needed to confirm with the cemetery (which I did, and she was spot-on). I called several times with different questions for options of stone color, size, etc. Never once did this company seem impatient with my questions (and as a detail-oriented person, I ask a lot!). They are very prompt to respond. Once when I called and asked for Rachel, she had gone for the day and I spoke to an equally charming woman, June, who informed me she was Rachels mother! June carried out the transaction for me from that point. June patiently gave me many customized design options to choose from and review with my friend. We even went through several changes. I was given advance warning that the placement of the stone was dependent upon the weather and that the stone would likely be placed sometime mid-December. I just got a message yesterday that the stone was placed more than a month early and they included a photo in the email. What a nice surprise and my friend (daughter of the deceased) was extremely pleased with the end result. Thank you so much Thomas Monuments for making the process easy for people who are going through a difficult time. (And, I will say that I price matched this company with a local competitor (upon recommendation of the funeral home) and Thomass price was a lot better; and despite the price they were much friendlier!). If you are reading this review and considering Thomas, you will not be disappointed.

Thomas Monument did a wonderful job on our monument. A special thanks to Rachel who worked with me for months to get just what we wanted. Thomas Monuments was absolutely AMAZING!! We had been working with the funeral home since the passing of my grandmother in September of 2018 trying to get her headstone placed with no resolve. I finally reached out directly to Thomas Monuments on 9/04/2019 and Rachel promptly responded and walked me through what would happened next. Rachel then assured me that everything would be taken care of. 2 days later I received drawings of the headstone; I approved it and Rachel contacted me to advise of the timeline and again assured me everything would be taken care of since we had already paid the funeral home in advance. Almost 2 months to the day from when I first reached out to Thomas Monuments my Grandmothers Beautiful headstone is in place 2 weeks earlier than advised. My family and I couldnt be happier. Rachel and Thomas Monuments gave my family the peace and resolve the funeral home denied us for more than a year in less than 2 months and for that we are forever grateful. I recently purchased a large headstone or monument for our dogs one of the two dogs 🐶🐩 the black Labrador pass away last year. The Shih Tzu is still with us and keeps the family uplifting. We decided to order a large headstone to cover both grave sites at my Friends Pet Cemetery ( Indianapolis). Thompson Monuments has over 100 headstone on display.
