Ive been shopping here for years and always loved it, but the last couple of times Ive been in, including today, the staff arent as friendly. The lady at checkout was rude today. She barely spoke or acknowledged me, less than the bare minimum, and was clearly annoyed. I did the August promotion for a free baby top or bottom with your purchase, placed it on the counter last and stated clearly that was what it was. It was the only reason I grabbed it. She either wasnt listening or just ignored it because I got home and realized she charged me for it. I couldnt tell which because like I said, she barely acknowledged anything I said. It was $2.50 so really not that big of a deal, but I was still annoyed because she was already rude and then did that.

This location is not customer service oriented!! I dropped off 5 bags of gently used boy and girl clothes. Got a call same day saying it was ready but that it would be 53 bucks for what they wanted. Fine. Since I didnt pick up the very next day. ALL of my clothes was donated bc we have busy schedules and couldnt pick up until Friday. I get that u dont have the capacity to hold items, but a courtesy call letting us know your going to steal our things and make profit out of it would of been nice. Believe me! we would of picked all of it up, and not accepted the money! Very Bad Service! Spoke to manager who didnt seem to care at all!

Fantastic finds especially during the tote sales! I only shop during the sales because a lot of items are sale prices you can find somewhere else. But during sales and season change you can find some great clothes. Toys are usually pretty good prices as well.Selling, however is another story, its a gamble. Theyll pay you pennies then turn around and ask exponentially more. I sold them a stroller, they said it was 15 for me, turned around and priced it at $125. How insane is that!? Same with clothes, youll get .25-$1.00 per item that they will turn around and price for far more. Its easier to just sell elsewhere and get what your stuff is worth. (:

They didnt even do my buy after I called ahead and they said they would as long as I got there by seven.i got there at 6:40. And I live an hour away. Also its very small. Im giving one star because I have to.

I think the store is well organized and clean. You can find nice items and get great deals. I got the cutest baby blanket for $3 not too long ago. Ive only dropped off clothes/items once, and you get some cash, but I like to shop more than drop off.

If you have kids under size 18 in clothes and below size 6 or 7 in kids shoes this is a great place to go and save some money! Clothes and shoes are not new but are in great condition and terrifically priced. The store is always clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful!!

Despite being a second hand store, all of their clothes and furniture are well maintained. Because its a second hand store, its very affordable! Bought like 8 adorable outfits here for about $22. The outfits probably wouldve cost that much each had I bought it at buy buy baby.

Always a happy camper here, customer service has improved dramatically compared to when the location was in the Speedway Plaza. Cool finds, usually in mint condition. Not too pricey. And worth it after you have had two babies. I’ve learned never to pay full price in clothing unless I absolutely have too! 😌

Consumer alert❗Ive taken a day to think about this before posting.... This place is criminal. Very simple. You drop your things off and they go through. Simple right? Until you come back and dont pay attention to what they give you back. My friend of 40+ years found her items on there shelves for sell and she was NOT going to be given anything but a smile. We all know that smile. Offering a scooter she was told $2.50. Thats two dollars and fifty cents for something they could not find on line and her husband found immediately off Google for over $100. I will give this company the benefit to reply otherwise it is the company that is at fallt. After finding some of her belongings on the shelves for sell without compensation I believe this is just Criminal. Everyone please pay attention to what is going on with this

The store is very well-organized, and they have some great buys, especially when they have sales, or if you sign up for their texts and get a coupon. The staff is very friendly too, which is always an added bonus. 😊 I go when I am in the area, and when I went about a month ago, they had an amazing clearance sale going on, and I got around 15 articles of clothing for my baby for about $15. A lot of things in perfect condition get marked down to clearance prices if they are transitioning to another season, or if they have an overabundance of clothes in that size. Today I got around $34 worth of clothing and books (6 sleepers and 5 books) for my nephews all for $22.15. I would have easily payed $100 or more for all of them at JcPenney, Childrens Place, or any other retail store. If you want to get nice things for your kids without breaking the bank, definitely check out Once Upon a Child!

They change their rules every time I come up here. Literally not even 2 weeks ago I brought a ton of baby boy clothes up her 0-3 months and got cash for it all. Today I brought some toys and a few more clothes and now all of the sudden they can only do in store credit for 18 months and younger. So guess who won’t be back. ME! Plus I’m making a corporate complaint because this isn’t the first time they just change their rules out of nowhere. Other than the miraculous rule changes they are usually pretty good. They pay cheap but it’s to be expected with any store like this.

I went to give some of my daughters too small clothes. Most of which they did not accept, due to them being worn & stained which I can honestly say they were not. I never keep stained clothing. Mine or my daughters. Even if they were stained Im sure they looked a whole lot better than those busted shoes that theyre trying to sell to people. I mean I know its a second hand store, but really? Ive seen better quality shoes at the good will. And most of the employees are lifeless. All in all I will never try to donate to them again.

Terrible selection. Other Once Upon A Child Locations in the Indianapolis area are able to offer more selections... I’m sure it’s because of the size of the store, but disappointed- definitely let friends and family know to save on gas and their time - just skip coming to this location... too small and incredibly small selection of clothing for girls and boys of all sizes. The clothes that were there were not in good condition and definitely not worth the price.

With my oldest sons kids, I would bring my granddaughters dresses there. She grew out of her clothing so fast. Now my youngest son has had a baby boy. I spent approx. $50. on a new Walker. Then it dawned on me. I could have gotten one cheaper there. I still need some other things. It has been over 8 years my oldest sons kids have been small. I gave a lot of there things away. I should have kept them for this baby 14 months old. I know you all have good quality stuff. I will be back. Hopefully this month. Glad you are still around. Grandma Mitiziemouse....

As far as finding well priced clothes - good place - if you dont mind holes in the armpits and sleeves from their tags. I will also never again bring clothes to sell them. I brought 2 totes (their max) and they took maybe 15 items, inckuding shoes which they were desperate for. When I got home the clothes were just thrown in the boxes, all mixed together, outfits no longer together, nothing even folded. That took time to do!! And now I have to do it all over again. Completely inconsiderate.

I love this place been going here for my children now for my grandchildren i think they can give a little more on the name brand things that still have tags on them and never been worn though just wishful thinking😇😃😁

Called a day ahead and spoken with an employee, told her I have several pair of Levi Jeans size 14 I wanted to sell. We discussed the amt they would pay per pair and made an appt for the next day.... I show up 5 minutes early they girl had an attitude about a 5:45pm appt then said they are only doing in store credit 🙄. A WASTE OF TIME! I went to another store. Appt was on 8/13/19 at 5:45pm just in case you want to follow up.

This location is not customer service oriented!! They keep offering me and my family one dollar for items like an Adidas bookbag during back to school time!!!! I called the owner to about their employee Diamond because she was so busy 👄 that she couldnt even properly evaluate my stuff. I had been waiting years to sell them, I was better off donating to goodwill or to a needy family! The owner said she would have the manager call me back and never received a callback. I will never visit this 🗑 trashy location. How can you offer people two dollars for we kept items. A rip off!!!!!!!!

I miss the old location in Speedway. This space is too small to offer the same selection they used to. Basically all clothing and barely any bigger items such as bouncers, swings, bassinets, cribs, play mats, etc.

Went in to buy stuff for my new born it was nice people were helpful spent around $50 got a nice swing a good sized nala lion 5 pants and a outfit a lamb raddle and owl comfort toy so i dont see any reason these people are rude on here one lady while we were there was letting her kids run wild employees had to keep asking her to not let them play in the middle of the aisles with the toys she most likely couldnt afford and she went off about them offering $18.50 for about 4 pairs of shoes and some clothes and toys and not tajing their stained stuff (there was no stained clothes that i seen a few toys were used but $35 walking bear for 5.50 with little black scuffs from walking is a hell of a deal people this is a great store they doing a great 👍

The clothes are way over priced compared to the W. 86th location. I got 2 pairs of 3-6 month pants for 10 bucks when I could have apparently got 10 pairs of pants for the same price at W. 86th. Save your money and go North.

Didnt shop with them..after hauling boxes in to sell they told me its by appointment only..with the other stores they take drop offs or you can wait in the store so thats where I went.
