Stopped by in search of some manga to add to my decorum. I knew the store was large and messy from reading previous reviews. Employees were very nice and helped me find what sections I was looking for. I was a little disappointed to find there wasnt a good pricing system. Some books were more expensive than when published, these arent rare or anything. I found some books that were discounted from original price by 2 cents. And others of the same book, paperback and same condition for prices ranging from $9-$12. There are a lot of books to look at, mostly older romance novels but a decent selection of others. I wouldnt go in there looking for a specific title but rather a new find. Employees were very helpful though!

Very cute bookstore with SO many books packed inside! Excellent selection and the staff was really friendly and helpful! I purchased 5 books for $20, less than the price of one book at a store like B&N. Highly recommend this place and it was in a cute suburb of Indy, an easy 10 minute Uber ride from downtown

Came an hour before they were supposed to close. Would not let me look around the store unless I knew what i wanted. Worse book store in the area. Would not recommend going here. Got a reply to this review was told I was lying that I came in after they closed which is not true and that the lady working there offered to let me shop also a lie. She said I could shop if I knew what I wanted which I didnt I just wanted to browse. Also they threatened to ban me which go ahead ban me I do not care I would never come to your store again. Was not impressed the first time I came there and was not impressed this past time either.Update I never said she didnt try to help me so maybe you need to learn how to read. I didnt come in after the store was closed the door was still unlocked when I came in. There was a sign on the door that said your store was open until 8pm and it was only about 7pm almost a full hour before 8pm. So the only one about to be embarrassed is you. If you have footage then youll see the door was unlocked she didnt let me in and I left cause I wasnt looking for something specific. Which I was told if I was not that I had to leave and the only thing that I said to your damn employee was that the sign on the door said that you closed at 8pm not 7pm. Above and beyond I think not I think having a damn sign on your door that post the correct time you close then maybe but not until then. Once again Id like to know how you were closed at 7 when your sign says 8 seems to me like you all cant make up your mind when you close. Oh well though your store sucks anyways plenty of other nicer bookstore in the area and I will make sure people know to not come to your store.

This is the best secondhand book store! Even better than Half Price Books. The manager is a wonderful woman and always helpful!

Incredibly Rude closing staff . If you do choose to go here youre going to want to come in when they are opening or middle of the day. UPDATE: Imagine Being a store Owner and not being able to take honest reviews well. Yikes.

Woahhhh. Seriously this place has some very random books. The is an ongoing buy three books get 2 free deal which I feel like they can swing because the books are slightly pricy for used books. (Some of their inventory comes from Half Price Books distribution) you might not find a particular book, but if youre looking to kill a few hours and browse, youll find something. Most books are in the $6.50-$11 range, but the whole back section is discounted further. Friendly staff, places to sit, clean bathroom. You can sell books there for store credit but they pay pretty low so youd probably make more selling at HPB. Buuuut if you just want to continue to buy and sell you could.....wait, just go to a library, seriously...

Absolutely loved this place! My daughter & I were looking for some specific books, and the lady working knew exactly where to find everything. Very welcoming atmosphere. Just loved it! Had a huge selection of books to choose from as well as DVD movies. Id highly recommend this place. Very nostalgic

I do like these used bookstores. The lady working their is very accommodating. I collect vintage cookbooks and i have found really good ones. Its good to hold an actual book rather than reading digital ones. I hope they will be around for awhile. Please support your local stores.:)

This is the best book store around. Everyone who works there has always been kind and helpful. It’s a really great small business and as of the last time I was there, they will give you in store credit for your used books at a fair price, when you consider how cheap they sell their books. It has the rare feeling of an old book shop from my childhood.

Love love love this bookstore! If youve never been you definitely need to check it out. I frequently shop here and always get the best help from the employees. Especially Katie, she went above and beyond tonight to make sure I got the next book in the series Im reading. She is always so informative and so courteous! Also, if youre looking for a book they do not have in stock, they can put your name on a list and when they find it theyll give you a call. Ive done this a few times and its honestly the best part of this place!!!

The books in the general fiction section were not organized in any way. I was looking for a Gore Vidal book, so not obscure by any means, and the worker couldnt point me in the right direction other than saying I have to peruse the entire fiction section. I got overwhelmed, so I went to the Goodwill next door and (luckily) found the exact book I was looking for! And it was only $1!I wouldnt go back unless I had a ton of time to kill.

This is a great local book store, stocked with any genre you could want. Its a little hidden away, but it is jam packed full of great deals. It has a ridiculously valuable sale of buy 3 get 2 free that is always running - I honestly dont know how it makes money. But it has been open for 10 years, so it must be doing something right. Look for it next to the AMC behind Southern Plaza!

Very helpful staff. Great place to go to discover new books, but maybe not if youre looking for a particular book. I could get lost in there for hours. :)

Interesting book store with mostly second hand romance novels. Found a few interesting finds and the one book I really wanted to take care of had a price sticker on the cover that destroyed the finish... good thing it was a half price book. It’s worth browsing, but nothing to write home about.

The selection has improved quite a bit. Inviting store and attentive staff. The prices seem a tad high for some of the books. They do have specials on buying multiple.

Sort of a surprise to find. I never realized there was a bookstore so close to home. It gives the feel of a smaller scale Half Price but more welcoming. Theres a selection to choose from with other interesting finds to be had. It worked out in favor for my family to get quite a few books from kids to YA to history. Will return when we finish the stack weve purchased.

Awesome place

Very nice people and had a good sale on books. But that place is a death trap! Theres so much stuff laying on the floor and you have to walk over books and poles just to move around. The smell is also pretty bad to a lot of really old books and then some kinda new books in the front

If theres one place I will look for books before trying anywhere else, it is Books on Sale! Big collection of books on assorted topics and you may occasionally come across a gem or two which you have always been looking for for years. Price sometimes works better than even online stores and I have never seen any place selling cheaper. It would be great if they have an online portal with their inventory details. I bought several books here. Their selection is huuuuge! They have several records and a childrens section in the back. Pretty good place to spend some time at and hunt for books.

Selection tends to be a tad chaotic, and they unfortunately use price tags that will damage any book you try to peel it off of. So if youre a collector, know this going in. That being said, they do have a LOT of books, and you can find some gems if you are up for spending a lot of time looking.

This place has a ton of books! But thats kind of the problem; the whole back room was a mess and it was hard to find anything. Also, the pricing was pretty off. I found several books priced at higher cost than that of the original cover price. Staff was extremely friendly.

The owner is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the inventory that she has and can make great recommendations for any future purchases you may have a question about.

A used bookstore, which is all kinds of cool. Lady says theyve been there for 10 years. I believe it. Only very loosely organized, and the worst part is that their price stickers damage the books upon removal. Decent enough selection if you have an afternoon to waste

Many books were priced higher than retail.Disorganized. They need to drop the sale and bargain thing and be honest.

I understand the back room is 50% off but it was a complete mess with books in stacks on the floor
