It was ok. It was early so not too crowded. People were masked up. Got in and out.

This trip.was only partially successful. No dress clothes for teenage boys, decent selection for girls.

This Walmart has always been kind of ghetto, but its definitely gotten worse as of late. I understand being short-staffed, but that is not an explanation as to why all of the self-checkout machines dont take cash

New technology slows check out while they learn it. Hopefully that will be quick learning.

Good visit. Not too busy. Some items not stocked as well, surprisingly little variety in the deli area. Lots of pastries that were discounted, in their own plastic containers, creating more waste, not super good. Kind service from everyone I came in contact with.

I ordered a large bag of 9lives catfood , for pickup, and i was told it was not available.after i got my order in my car, i went inside, and guess what?? there was a whole shelf full of 15 lbs bags of cat food, why couldnt I get it in my order???? i was NOT happy!!!!!!

Got help when needed cashier was young and inexperienced but cordial and took advice and assistance with pleasure

I can always find what I need at a great price and if I cant find it the people that work there, right now anyway, are amazingly nice. I have had a time or two where the people seem irritated that I asked for help but when I went there the past few times they have been wonderful!! They were more than happy to help. I love getting my kids school clothes and supplies here.

So now they have this new plan to allow you to scan items as you shop and pay with your phone without going through the checkout. All it costs you is $120 a year to save them money on employees. What a joke!

Two times now my card was hacked at the north self checkouts. I am positive it happen to others! Not very pleased, Walmart, do something to protect your customers.

Found what I needed easily and at a hood price.

We were able to get most everything on our list. Their produce that day looked really nice. Cashier was very nice and thorough.

Walmart was nice not to busy when I was there. My only compliant is Ive been there twice now and I know its not all the stores fault but the shopping carts need to be better. But over all good experience!

My waitress Megan was phenomenal! Shes one of the best waitresses Ive ever had there.And the coffee was great

This Walmart is in a convenient location but we often choose Meijer across the street since it’s newly remodeled and has a better selection of things we prefer.The store was pretty empty and 90% of people were wearing masks. Overall it’s a little run down and dirty. The staff was nice though.Here’s a pic of bourbon.

Dont try to return anything after mid-afternoon because customer service closes at 8pm. Never heard of a business that doesnt offer customer service while theyre open, was told with an attitude that they open at 7am. Not helpful.

I waited in electronics for 20 minutes asked 3 different employees to page someone back to electronics, all of them literally said someone was on their way nobody showed up. Wasn’t a busy time I went either and there was MULITPLE employees walking around doing nothing. Went to meijer across the street and was helped within 5 minutes.

We shop here all the time and this trip was Very Disappointing.I have ordered food from various Wal-Mart locations for many years and this is the first time I have ever had any problems. Half of the cupcakes we ordered were not done (even though I received a text notification that both orders were complete). They did pull some out of the freezer and complete the order, after about 20 minutes.The sub that we ordered was done but no one seemed to know how to put a price on it ?!?! And normally you get lettuce, tomatoes, mustard and Mayo with the sub. We had to ask and only received mustard. . .but sure didnt receive any discounts. I understand that people are short staffed and things are quiet a cluster mess right now. . But dont offer service that you cannot provide. Will reconsider where to order food for the next party :-( Disappointing !!

Walmart in Howell was terrible! Went to return bottles. Most of the machines didnt work. The floor had so much pop spilled on them, that you stuck to the floor. I asked for assistance. There were 2 people working on them. They would get a machine working for a couple minutes and it would break again. It wasnt their fault. The machines are just in terrible working order. I ended up at Meijer across the street. The bottle return room was clean and all the machines worked and took the cans quicker too!

This place is the worst like most Walmarts. Poorly ran by Managers like Deb. Had to wait 15 mins in line to check out with a $300 cart because management was too busy to drop what they are doing to override a wrong price and then a second time to come over and finish something they should have done in the first place. Cudos to crew member Jasmine for chilling me out while I was waiting in line forever.

The Walmart in Brighton seems to be lower in prices than other super markets, that is if you want to get houseware items like dishware, laundry baskets, cups, curtains, exc... I also like to get the white rain hair spray there, because I cant seem to find it in any other stores. Also, the chicken at the deli is very good if youre on the run or for a family meal.

Looks like a bomb went off in the mens department and in the toy department.And, you cant find an employee anywhere.Worst Walmart Ive ever been to.

Poorly stocked shelves (most other retailers have caught up for the most part), never an associate around to answer a question or give assistance. Very nice cashiers but for heaven sakes why are there only 4 working on a given day? They do work hard to get customers out relatively fast. They get 5 stars!

Would like to just once be able to find someone on the floor to help me when I need it, and this was even before the pan-demic.

Glass bottle return machine was broken down. No soap in the dispenser in the bottle return area. When I went to customer service to let them know. I was greeted by Debbie of 10 years. She told me that they wont take returnables through customer service desk even if the machine wont work. But they can charge me a deposit for a service they dont offer. Thats not right in my mind. She said due to covid they cant. Well covids a good reason but if your so concerned about covid why dont you have soap by your hand sink???? K so you dont care about covid or wheres the masks??? Never again will I go to Walmart for anything

A couple years ago, the manager told my mom that he hopes she dies from cancer after her card wouldnt scan and he refused to punch in the card. She was going through cancer at the time as well, and he knew that. She also had all 6 of us kids there too buying groceries. That was extremely uncalled for and made her feel terrible. The store itself always has what you need, but the staff is very rude.

Long lines at checkout even when store isnt crowded. Narrow aisles. Grocery stock not extensive. What is there is less expensive than other stores, thats the only positive.

Walmart has went down hill as far as I am concerned. They always want you to check your self out and I do not get paid to do all of what that entails. I have been disappointed for a long time now.

I’ve had a few bad experiences, this place is very understaffed but I understand the struggle with this. Not all but a few workers are very rude and act like they don’t wanna deal with you. They have very long waits for help. At times there’s only 1–3 checkout lanes open so most of the time I go to self checkout. I also watched a lady specially ring out other people who wanted to pay cash, I wanted to do the same, but when she finished she told me she couldn’t help me and told me to go to the return counter. The lady there then gave me an attitude because I was told to go here.

Yikes. Been shopping here for years and yesterday was the worst experience. Asked for help from three different workers and none of them knew how to help me or where products were located. Asked for help unlocking propane and the woman was rude to my boyfriend and I, disappeared for twenty minutes and we thought she was coming back to help, she didn’t and we had to find someone else with the key and she was the only one. Not only was the staff I knowledgeable and unfriendly, the produce dates were so far past sell by date I was horrified. Only two containers of organic mushrooms and the contents were yellow. The normal mushrooms were all 5-6 days past sell by. Breads in the loaf and freezer aisle were all on the sell by date. Went to the auto center to purchase a tarp and found a container of croissants ONE WHOLE MONTH past it’s expiration date you wouldn’t have known they were croissants without reading the label! Do not shop here!

Five stars for Marcy the cashier at U-scan today in Howell, Mi. I’m not a huge fan of this store in general, but Marcy melted my heart today as I watched her interact with customers in line and in need of assistance. Absolutely a wonderful young lady. You can tell she loves her job and giving excellent customer service.

You buy battery in June 2020 and they say they have a 3 year free replacement warranty and they can figure out how to replace the junk batterys they sold you

While it never seems to be overly busy, the minimal open registers is still and issue. As well as the abundance of items that are always out of stock. Its hit or miss here.

I sat in pickup for over an hour after they said my orders would be out shortly.

Im here to give the Howell Walmart the stars they deserve! Not even comprehending how the New Hudson store has a .2 higher rating! Howell Walmart at least has employees everywhere to assist you! I went to both today and definitely talked to, asked questions to or visually saw employees working in each dept at Howell. New Hudson is a nightmare! Howell has always been great and I hardly shop at Walmart and am actually glad both Hartland and Brighton deny the store in our towns but I live between the Howell and New Hudson store and after the rudeness of the customer service lady at the New Hudson store, and not being able to find one damn employee to help me out and having to ask the door guy to call the manager for me for help, I will ALWAYS do my shopping at the Howell store from now on.

Went here to return bottles all machines were down, and the insides of them were so horrible that the bottles would stick. Bathrooms are horrible and disgusting. Employees are also just as bad as the bathrooms.

Right next to I-96, this Walmart offers quick and easy pickup, and a constant line of sanitized carts. Very clean, and products are readily available. To be fair, the produce section is the only area I feel could use a little more work, compared to its competitor across the street.

They staff in the deli is VERY limited or not open the last few times I have been there only certain people can operate it I was told !!! Put people on the floor that can run the deli as well!!!

I honestly wish I could give them zero Stars the worst Walmart I have ever dealed with. I had called inquiring about a heating blanket I was told they had them I inquired about curbside pickup and they hung up on me I had called back she said they had a few in stock I went home got my credit card came back now everyones claiming nobody spoke to me even though I had my phone and proof that I had spoke to them and best part is nobody knows or any heating blankets are. Its a waste of time and the employees act like they dont know what theyre doing. Very disappointed when all they had to do was say no we dont have something.

I would have given 5 stars, but I was not pleased with the 2 customer service reps at the counter. Instead of consulting with their gm regarding cashing a check, which I had done twice in the past for bigger amounts, the 2 ladies decided against it, even though I told them their manager approved it twice in the past. Not sure why they choose not to consult with their gm. Same circumstances, but different attitudes. I called the store upon my drive home. Esther, the gm, however deserves 5 stars. She understood the situation and honored cashing the check just like was done in the recent past. Thank you Esther! I appreciate you, and your employees should strive to be more like you!!!

I had a 20 item list, and I now still have a 10 item list! So tired of empty shelves EVERY time I shop! Some items are unavailable as long as a month!

Clean and they had the products that were on my list. Unfortunately, short staffed... just like everywhere else.

This location has failed to deliver my online grocery order on the day it was scheduled three different times now, and each time required me to spend a minimum of an hour trying to get it delivered. There was never any compensation for their failure to complete the promised service and wasting my time waiting around for orders that never arrived, and I pay for a monthly membership. Once was understandable, twice was forgiven, but three times is too many.

Used pick-up. Check your orders, one item was replaced by a lower quantity but it was the wrong product, k-cups but wrong flavor. But they were polite and very nice. Check orders before you leave though
