When our washer quit working, they sent someone out right away. Their representative was incredibly polite, informative, and helpful. Unfortunately, our washer would cost too much too repair. The representative explained everything to me clearly, so it was easy to look things up online and see that his assessment was correct. He suggested a washer for us that was available at the store. When we arrived at the store, we were promptly greeted and welcomed. We were able to purchase the washer and have it delivered the next morning. The men who delivered the washer were prompt and so very helpful. We had to move some things to get the old washer out and the new one in, and they even helped with that. I cant think of one thing they could have done better in the whole process. I cant say enough about how well we were treated every step of the way. We love our new washer, and well be returning to D.R. Electric with any and all future appliance needs.

Its really nice when you can shop local and get great service. Kurt and his guys have been awesome. The fact they carry Speed Queen, which is the greatest brand, and Kurt gives you that personal touch is huge. After having a mixup on my end with the dryer I bought he took care of everything and didnt call me for payment until days later. Totally old school, hand shake kind of stuff.

We used Dr. Electric to fix our dryer. They came out right away and fixed the problem. The guy was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had it repaired from another company twice before and it still didn’t work. Was so happy they were able to find the real problem. What I love most about this business is the owner will give suggestions on how to fix it yourself if it’s an easy do it yourself fix rather then just trying to set up a service call and give you a bill. We were able to fix our stove on our own. Would highly recommend them!!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I don’t remember the tech’s name who came out to repair our washer, but he was extremely rude with a foul mouth and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ended up not being able to fix our washer either and he broke it even more. Ended up having to purchase a new washer elsewhere. Absolutely horrible experience.

They came out to service our fridge which had thermostat issues...Tech didnt even remove anything to see any problems. Cothermostate was in fridge ceiling and difficult to get to.... Cost us $80....just suggested I go to DR Electric and they could get us a great new fridge. WE had fixed several household items with parts and their help in the past , but that was the first AND LAST time EVER dealing with their service techs.I might buy parts there to fix something ourselvves, but NOT an appliance. JUST DUE TO THEIR SERVICE PEOPLE LAXIDAYSICAL ATTITUDE.

I walked in yesterday, looking to purchase a new washer and refrigerator. I made eye contact with a man who didnt speak to me, so I assumed he was another customer. I continued to walk around the store, looking for an employee and noticed the entire building reeked of cigarette smoke.When I circled back, the man I saw reluctantly came over to speak to me. I told him that I had been in there a couple weeks before and saw a refrigerator I liked, but was not seeing it in the store currently. He told me he sold it, but didnt remember what kind of refrigerator it was. His guided me to go on the world wide web and pick out the refrigerator I like since Im in no condition to walk around and browse (Im pregnant). Then to come back and tell him what fridge to order for me.Um..no? At least I can say I tried to shop local..

Good old DNR Electric has been and how all as long as I can remember and Im old! Located in business district of Howell! Their service is what many, my age, remember as good hometown service! But as well they have managed to also keep up with modern times! This is especially apparent in terms of ordering parts. I have been ordering parts from here for many years. They have always either had the part in stock or can get it the next day! Best part is they also manage to keep their pricing competitive, with local retail competitors, as well as internet based parts suppliers! Also they have the ability to work through the ever changing part number changing dilemma that seems to plague the appliance industry! This all done with a call, minimal information, and no lengthy wait on hold!This local retailers service warrants the support of his community that he serves so well by DOING AS MUCH BUSSINESS WITH HIM AS POSSIBLE!

Your drivers need to learn how to park. Parked in an illegal spot today and completely blocked a car. Refused to move the vehicle when asked. Boycott this company at all costs!

Waited over 10 minutes for SOMEone to come out and help us purchase a fridge......NO one came out from the back!!!! 30 yr custoner and this is how youre treated!! Going to Sears or Lowes or Home Depot.......no more shopping local!!!

Called for service on my dryer on a monday, tech was out on tuesday. Dryer was repaired in about half an hour. Off to do my next repair. and if I cant fix it, Ill call D&R again!

My cousins wife was parked,eating lunch with her brother and came out to find this companies truck parked really close to her car..Her brother asked the driver if he could move it so she could get out,the driver was belligerent and told him to mind his own business and started threatening violence..The owner came out and did nothing,just said it where they always park...wouldnt recommend these clowns for any work
