I have been a regular customer here for a while (Bc I have an online business). I love everything about this store!!! They always have boxes 📦 in sizes I need. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, especially the store manager (Joseph). Not only he found right boxes for me, he also helped me reduce their sizes to save shipping cost! 🥰I highly recommend this business!!!!

I was in the store today to buy some moving boxes. When I entered the store, I noticed that the woman behind the counter was not wearing a mask. Being an older person with unvaccinated grandchildren, I try to keep my distance from people without masks. It was my understanding that 1/2 Price Boxes Houston does require our associates to wear masks at all times that customers are in the store, as stated in a response below. When I asked her about wearing her mask, she seemed rude -- said, no, she does not wear them/will not wear them. I will shop elsewhere in the future. COVID is still a threat to our friends and family.

Had an amazing experience here today. Michelle was helpful both on the phone and in person, with my particular packaging needs. I had to package two large pieces of art work for shipping and she helped me to resolve how best to approach packaging it. She was friendly, courteous and the necessary took time to explain to me the difference in the materials. Excellent service (with a masked smile)!

BUY THE BUNDLE! Love that there are packages of moving boxes of varying sizes. The cashier even packed them in my car. Best deal in Houston!

I love this location! Half price boxes is the best box store in the city, and Michelle is a total badass! The staff is incredibly helpful and they are always on point.

I came into half price boxes today and I must say they have a box for everything. I delt with Michelle and even though she was unloading a truck with several customers waiting for her attention, she was very patient and attentive with everyone. Im very impressed with her service and this store. I highly recommend half price boxes. GREAT JOB MICHELLE!!!!

I have been a customer here for the last few years and I have always had a great experience until yesterday. I never leave reviews but I felt the need to leave this one. I went in to buy my regular boxes and when I walked in, a new associate that I have never seen before, was sitting at the desk on her personal cell phone, she greeted me like I was bothering her, also never putting on a mask. When she finally got off of her personal phone call I felt as if I was bothering her with my service. This was the most uncomfortable experience. I asked if Alec still worked there and I got a big NO. I will take my business to the store down the street. This is very unfortunate because I absolutely loved Alec and the other lady, I cant remember her name but this store will no longer get my business.

I’ve been going there for years. They have never let me down. I sell on eBay and sometimes sell very large and very fragile items. Whenever I need supplies and large shaped boxes I always go to 1/2 price boxes and the same young man is always there and very helpful. I just tell him what size my item is and he gets my supplies together and loads them in my car. Easy peasy

After conducting some research for procuring boxes for an upcoming move, I landed on this business. Set in a plaza right off the highway, it was a quick and painless trip. One I got in, I was slightly overwhelmed by the sheer number of boxes ALL over. However, the clerk showed me their boxes showcases which helped me decide which boxes I wanted. I ended up with an assortment of 20 (s, m, and l) boxes for about $37. Added to that, the gentleman helped load the boxes in my car. Simple, quick, and painless.

Came into this store earlier today for the first time. Stood at the front for 4-5 minutes waiting for an employee but no one ever showed. The phone was even ringing and still no one appeared. Finally left and went to the home depot right next door and found boxes for much cheaper. Only reason Im leaving 2 stars is because they did appear to have a fairly large selection of boxes in all shapes and sizes.

Pretty solid place to get boxes of many sizes. Prices are competitive. You have to get a pretty large bundle to get some of the deeper discounts. Service is good.
