The 3 employees I had contact with have no idea what customer service is, NOT courteous, or friendly. The drinks in the Coca Cola cooler @ register had hot drinks, and the cashier said, yeah, its not working. Same cashier was aware I was waiting for her,, and she let me wait just a little longer....she was standing @ the next register talking to her co-worker. The conveyer belt @ register wasnt working either. I mustve needed my items on a bad day for their machines and employees.

Very expensive compared to the bigger places like Mi Tienda, HEB, Walmart, exctra

The store is small with a not too large of a selection on anything, but if youre looking to avoid the hussle and bussle, the hassle of long register lines, and driving around the parking lot for a parking spot then this is youre go to grocery store. It has a small but very clean and fresh produce section, a small meat market, a very small bakery not freshly made at the location but still very fresh, and the store is very clean. Most of all you can get in and out of the parking lot and store in a jiffy.

El Ahhorro Supermarket is my neighborhood SuperMercado. I by all my meat at this supermarket because they have the cheapest and the best the freshest meat in town and thats why I gave them five stars if nothing else I buy my meat here only

Well, as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by manager. They have really done a phenomenal upgrade to their entire produce section. The renovation is very noticeable by all the well lit fresh produce, easy to view vegetables and low priced fruit. In addition, the isles of the check outs have been upgraded, adding lighting to all the great impulse buys available. Very impressive! Did some shopping and had to try some freshly cooked tacos conveniently located in the center of the supermarket. Thanks for the friendliness and delicious food. Will definitely be back!

I drove by this place every day for a year before giving it a shot. Should have gone sooner.Seriously good. And a great value.Walk in, smells amazing, clean, feels authentic but also like it’s not trying too hard.Generous portions. The salad was less than five bucks, fresh, and large. The calzone was like $7 and the size of a football. I fed my family of three for twenty bucks.Sat on the patio and enjoyed a good, comfort food meal. This place is in now in my rotation. Glad it’s in my neighborhood.

Was harrassed by the security guard. I believe she was racial profiling.

Its decent but the cashiers need to understand that people dont like waiting in line and listen to theyre personal lifestyles we wanna pay quick and attend our own matters how about opening more registers and try to diminish the lines a little faster its insane that 1 register is open and thebother workers pass by like its almost clock out time lets slack for another 45min until then

Parking lot has much to be desired. Stores small but well stocked definitely caters to the Hispanic community. Can generally find anything you need.

They have mostly everything you would find at brand name supermarket. I come here for the quick groceries and meat products. Produce is fresh for the most part and prices are average.

I would only recommend this place as an emergency or sacrifice for short lines. Vegetables are always viewable with mold (some not all) Pork rinds where extremely stale. Prices are higher for household items. Take caution in milk aisle as the lane is damaged and a rug is over the damage

Five dollars for a gallon of milk and at mi tienda it is 2.50 and the ground beef got thrown out the day I bought it. I couldnt take it back because there was no English speaker to help with bad meat .

Twice now I purchased shredded bags of cheese & both had mold. I will no longer come to this store what else can be no good. No thanks. Beware of your groceries buying at this location
