Great Work, Dont listen to the bad reviews. Many uncertified mechanics in the area dont want to take the blame for lack of knowledge. We have taken hundreds of heads & blocks here over the years & always have consistent work.

The worst place you can go, please pay attention, the work was very bad after charging me two thousand dollars for the block and the 3 heads, he tells me that he is sorry that they are taken away but what they do not take into account is that The engine is mounted and the mechanic (very good by the way) has already done his job and for dismantling it he will charge me again, they did not want to reimburse me for my money or pay what the mechanic would charge me, apart from that they work very dirty, they do not wash well because the block was pure disgusting and not to mention the paint, very rude and the lady dont even say dont go to this place its the worst in all of Houston

I have cuplé bad experience with M&Y Machine shop, but I’m taking about last one, I buy a used ISX 15 head 2500$ 90 day warranty, when starting the engine for first time I see oil coming from head, I calling to machine shop and he said keep going is normal a little oil for nest week, now the truck running for 9000 milles and for some reason the piston # 6 hit a valves I calling again and said to machine shop guy , I need you going to my mechanic shop for inspect what happened with the truck , and he said I not going anywhere I know what happen ,the piston hit the valves because the mechanic didn’t good work, so the warranty didn’t cover this, Here is a picture !the piston is good never going up to valves,

The service here was absolutely terrible. We took a head for a diagnosis not to be rebuilt and they took it upon themselves to rebuild the head without any authorization. And when it was time to pay for it I was told they could take AMEX over the phone. I waited almost 2 hours to be emailed an authorization form, when I did not get a callback, I called them myself and they said they no longer accept payments over the phone. A few days later a coworker called and they gladly took a payment over the phone!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!!!!
