Houston Saw is amazing! Greatest customer service I have EVER received from a Gravely dealer. They went above and beyond to help me get a part that I needed in an expedited manner. Andrew called as soon as the part came in off of the truck. He remembered my name from the first tome I called looking for the part and went out of his way to help me. Andrew is an amazing asset to Houston Saw and Houston Saw is a great place toDo business. They make you feel very appreciated as a customer. I highly recommend them!

Call before going and ask about the equipment you are looking for. Low inventory. Did not feel like I was getting the help I needed to buy or order 4 Stihl products, blower, trimmer, edger, polesaw. It was 4 pm I am sure they were ready to close. I came from out of town to see nothing.The good thing about Stihl is you can buy at many places. Good luck with your business.

Did my research online first. Asked alot of different landscapers and they sent me to this dealer. The staff is friendly and very informative. Ask about their cash prices. I got the best deal on the 32 inch stand on encore. Very glad I did. I will be coming back and definitely sending people this way.

Took my moms lawnmower to get a diagnostic to see what needed to be fixed since it wasnt running at all. I based my visit on the many excellent reviews that I read on google, but still remained cautious. The gentleman took the lawnmower and told me he would have his coworker check to find what issues there were. About 10-15 minutes later I was told that it was up and running. They both explained what the issues were and how to avoid them in the future. Overall, my visit took around 35 minutes and cost less than $25. To say that their customer service as well as technical service is excellent would be an understatement. I wish I could rate them higher.

You will get an open, honest evaluation & recommendation on equipment you take in. I’d rather pay $25 to determine I’ve got a lemon on my hands than to be convinced into investing $100 on repairs for a $199 orig. purchase. Strongly recommend.

Good Friendly Knowlegable Service. I brought in a Navy SEAL Fighting Knife to be Sharpened. I bought it at a GunShow years ago and it has never been Sharpened before. The helpful guy behind the counter said the guy that does the Sharpening is a real Artisan and Loves Sharpening Blades, and can get it Razor Sharp. The customer before me bought a New Stihl WeedEater, and the counter guy was showing him everything about the weedeater, how to work it, take care of it, all the features. In other words they didnt just take his money and send him on his way.

Worst experience ever. Was recommended by Sears warranty. The communication with both parties was unacceptable. After a month and 1 week of waiting the Houston Saw & Turf did call to let us know that Sears and the repair shop finally settled. We got our lawnmower today and when using it, the lawnmower blade was not the same. There is a special feature on the blade which is the reason we chose this specific lawnmower. I have a strong feeling that the blades were switched. Absolutely the worst experience that I have experienced. The guy that helped me seemed bias towards women as well. I would not recommend this place. Now I have to face the fact that I need to reach out to repair shop to see if they can make it right. I pray that they do. But I guess I need to do a follow up on the review to see how it goes.FOLOW UP REVIEW - The repair shop reached out to us and provided options on how to move forward. Thank you very much for following up on this matter and making it a better experience.

If they could fix it, the few would go towards the service. After my previous lawn tractor of 14 years finally bit the dust, I was in the market for a new mower. With several acres of pasture and yard to mow, having a mower that gets the job done efficiently is very important to me. I shopped around and decided on a Gravely 52 from Houston Saw & Turf.Chris was fantastic! He made sure that I answered the right questions before making my decision, went over everything in detail when I picked up the mower, handled the warranty for me, and loaded it onto my trailer for me.The mower is a beast, and I am very happy with my purchase. Since my previous mower died, I had borrowed from friends a few times to mow, each time when the grass was about the same height. Each of the other mowers that I borrowed (one was a lawn tractor that was green in color, and one was a red zero turn with a turtle-like name that rhymes with wrapper) bogged down quite a bit and I had to cover the same area two or three times.When I got the Gravely, my grass had not been mowed in over three weeks, which meant that it was all at least 12 - 16 tall. My new mower blasted through that without a hitch. What used to take 3 or more hours I was able to get done in about an hour and a half, and without having to remow anywhere.I am a very satisfied customer, and I highly recommend Chris and his team and Houston Saw and Turf.

Came to buy a zero turn mower on a Saturday. I found one that I thought I liked but was too big to mow between trees. The staff was very professional and suggested various options for me, but never pressured me to buy one at all. As a matter a fact, the owner, Chris said to go home and measure the distance between my trees to make sure I buy the right size mower. That means a lot, anyone else would try to sell you the most expensive one on the showroom. I did go back to measure the gaps in my pasture and called 10 minutes before the store closed to let him know which one I wanted. I was afraid I would have to come get it the following weekend, but Chris said to head on over that he would wait for me. He waited an hour after his closing time to sell me the mower I needed. Thanks again and I highly recommend a business where people are before profits. I will return when I get ready to upgrade.

I walked in the store expecting to deal with professionals, and all I hear is a bunch of swearing and abusive language coming from some obese women who was apparently having a bad day. When I realized she was an employee of the store I quickly turned around and left. It is a shame too, I recently moved to the neighborhood and had planned on being a regular customer, but if I cannot walk in to the store with one of my children at my side, then I simply cannot frequent a place of such low character.

A great customer service experience, which I havent had in a long time. I made my first Stihl purchase, and this wasnt the first place I called today, as it wasnt closest to my home. However compared to the other dealers I spoke with, these guys bent over backwards to answer all my questions, look up inventory and options and called me back with a plan. I hopped by over lunch and had a great personal experience as well.Im not sure if this is standard Stihl procedure, but they dont just sell you a box - the personally assemble and test run their products. They walked me through everything I needed to know, the entire crew was smiling and happy, and they insisted on walking me to my car to help, though not needed. Beyond that they asked me to call with any question or concern if they can be of help and would gladly work with me and my purchase. This was a night and day difference in what Im used to experiencing at some of the big box chains. Thanks for all the help!

5/30/2018 My husband went in to purchase a carburetor kit for our stihl leaf blower, the sales person told him they do not stock this item. My husband asked him if he could order it and he said they will have to put it on an order and proceeded to answer the phone, leaving the customer without ordering the part with very poor customer service. I have referred family and friends to this store, but never again. I will take my business were they value me as a customer.
