Weekends are packed ( maybe because of Diwali). Great place to get youre South Asian grocery items and more. They have a good selection of fruits and vegetables. Frozen items like ice cream and frozen dishes. Do check them out.

This store have almost everything you need. Although sometimes they are always out of certain things or do not stock up the shelves. I live 50 mins away and it is very frustrating when they are out of certain things.Customer service is great! Ask them anything and they will help right away.There is seasonal sales where some of the products have great deals and in general you cant beat the price, it is very reasonable. Vegetables are fresh. Recommended and my go to Indian grocery store.

Absolutely disgusting! They are selling expired products. I bought a pack of charkri (murukulu) in June 2018 that expired in 2017. You can see the expiry date if you look closely at the grey numbers.

Great grocery store!

We buy half-baked rotis by gandhi from here. Lately, the quality has declined. See the attached photos. The refrigerated roti grew mold despite being sealed and well-within the expiration date of June 16, 2020. The attached photos were taken on May 13, 2020.This is an update, it is December 19, 2020 and I just threw an entire packet of Gandhis roti due to mold developing in a sealed packet marked for expiration on January 24, 2021. Terrible product. Parivaar grocers continues to sell it.

Full range desi store. Clean and well stocked. Produce is fresh as well. Parking is a bit of challenge so is the case with most hillcroft stores.

Located at popular destination. Can get most of Indian groceries easily. Not a big store, almost always crowded. People are wearing mask during this pandemic but forget about social distancing.

Pretty good place to get Indian groceries. It gets busy on weekend. The vegetables are always fresh. Sometimes you would just end up seeing the same few vegetables but sometimes you would see something that you havent found anywhere else. They also have ready to eat chat items. Also, dont forget that the prices are not cheap since its an Indian grocery store. I would recommend buying something that you cannot find in other big chains like walmart, costco, kroger, HEB, etc.

Ive been buying Indian groceries from this store from almost 5 years. I can always find everything that I want, vegetables are fresh on weekends. They keep specials for every Indian festival from all the places of India which is pretty nice. They bring seasonal foods like mango directly imported from India. Frozen food is reasonably fresh as well.

I went on a week end. The aisles were too tight. Grocery selections are very very limited and an ok quality. Weekend is the time when most people come. Well, I saw a lot of people there and I went there after one of my friends suggested it. I can say for sure, there are other stores near by waiting to take their market share and truly, I felt better when I stopped by, to get some additional items.As far as price goes, it is a bit on upper side. Also, the price labels were not proper, many times it was incorrect and not clearly displayed.

One stop shop for Indian grocery

This one is definitely bigger than a normal Indian grocery store. Define normal, you ask? By normal I mean five-six racks of stuff on both sides. But Parivar was bigger, and we got some fresh vegetables here as well. Would recommend.

One of the salesman/ owner has a bad attitude. Never going there again. Good alternatives are near by.

We usually get all our grocery from here. Searching for an exotic Indian product? You name it, theyve got it! I have found their products to be fresh and of good quality. They even have a good collection of Indian veggies, which are sometimes fresh , sometimes all dried up. Otherwise its a five.

This place is my favorite Indian grocery store. It is really far from the place where I live but I usually drive couple of hours to do shopping in this store.They have many things available in this store. You can buy fresh vegetable and many other fruits. This store big and have everything you need. You can buy some good species from this store. They have many candy option. They are just located behind bombay sweet.You need to go to this store to know more. You will definitely like this place.

Be very careful as they ring your purchase. They are notorious for charging higher than their own listed price. If you dont pay attention you will ending up paying more for 2-3 items out of maybe your total purchase of 20 items.

All your Indian groceries including your fresh vegetables are available here. Reasonably priced and stocked well. A little tight in space but they have managed to keep all the aisles organized. Parking is conveniently located right in front of the store. Ensure you sign up for their rewards program and get discounts on sale items.

Good for groceries only. Dont waste time on vegetables as they are not good enough. But prices are more reasonable compared to others.

Probably my favorite Indian store in Houston, at least among those in hillcroft which are the only ones we visit. Good selection and prices on the spices and other pantry items. I wish there was more fresh produce, but the selection can be quite good and fresh, especially if you catch them soon after a delivery.

The employees are nice people and cashier always greets the customer. The owner watches every one but never greets any customer. . Attitude.

They have all the variety of Indian spices and eatables but 90% of the products has passed their expiration date. Upon asking for the fresh product, the staff was very cool about it and said this is what we have.If you visit Parivar Grocers at Hillcroft Houston, please double check the manufacturing and expiration date.I wonder how come they are not banned by US FDA.

My experience at this store was absolutely HORRIBLE. I normally dont like to write bad reviews, however, I is well deserved. The actual store was amazing and I got exactly what I was looking for. The customer service was absolutely horrible and I wont return because of it. We were never greeted, not asked if we needed assistance (it was obvious that we were looking for something), and when I got to the register to check out, the gentleman (cashier 100101)said not one word to us. He held a conversation the entire time with someone in the back, never told me a total, and didnt even attempt to bag what I bought (I had to ask). It was absolutely the worst experience Ive had. I felt totally uncomfortable and this was my first time there. Im not sure what was with that because all of the other guests were assisted and greeted. This store is actually convenient because I get my eyebrows threaded in the same parking lot, but Ill never return. The customer service gets a thumbs down!

I have been shopping here since 6 years now. Owners are very friendly. Festive collection comes well in advance and they have fresh indian vegitables eavery day. We buy Okra only from here as its always tender, thin and long as I like.

Its a nice Indian Grocery store. Its pretty clean and they generally have most of the fresh vegetables. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The aisles are well organized, making it quite easy to locate things.

Fresh produce and good collection of spices and Indian kitchen essentials. Wish they had smaller size bags for flours/lentils/rice and other supplies.

I will give 1 star for price, 1 for variety while take away for expired products on the shelves always. Even in frozen aisles. Owner are however friendly and helpful. This can be last shop to look for if not available in other Indian groceries stores.

This is a meh. All things highly pricey than the surrounding grocery stores. Of course there are a lot of varieties of stuff. But this is what I feel.
