I love this store, it’s close to my house and will try to get what I need here before going to the big box stores. Always very friendly and helpful staff! They help you here. Take a look, walk down every isle, you’ll find out they have a really good selection of things and hard to find items.

They have nice and personal customer service. I went there for an oddball plumbing part and they literally had me out of the store in less than three minutes. The big stores just can’t provide that kind of service.

Friendly and helpful staff.Much better customer service than Lowes/home depot.I prefer getting my keys cut here. They still have the manual machine in addition to the newer computerized key cutters.Much better metric fastener selection than other stores.

This is a real-deal, locally owned hardware store. Dont mess around with the large chain stores if you need to fix something around the house or yard. Plenty of knowledgeable staff on hand to answer any questions or help in any way.

Abusive price. I got a made car key for a Honda for $20 this past September, Today, October 3 weeks after for the same car, the same key and they asked me $35. When I mentioned the last cost the guy said: You had a good deal, like the price is negotiable. I complained with the ladies at the front and the only answer was : good luck. We are fortunate to have options but Im not going back to this ACE location

Very well, equip, a large selection of speciality tools, great place for multiple hand tools for scout in your life, BSA, Explorer and Venturer or for that hunter who always in the field , woods or bush.

Its not just the impeccable service; these are good people. I always buy my hardware at Hamilton. The 2 big box stores are close and cost a little less but having the great people at this store, always helpful, is priceless. 5 star 100% of the time.

I have been a customer for many years. I started shopping here when it was just Hamilton Hardware. This part of Houston was just starting to grow and this was the only place to purchase your hardware / DYI needs. As the area grew and expanded, it became Hamilton Ace Hardware store. They have never lost their personal friendly service. It still is the Go to place , easy to get in and out without having to go to the BIG BOX store up the road. If they dont have it , they can usually get it for you. They are 6-7 Stars for sure.

Small homey feel and knowledgeable staff. I can describe what Im looking for and if they have it, theyll go as far as going to the isle with me and look for it too. Cannot get that kind of customer service at a big box stores.

I have been going to this store well over 10+ years; however, never more. Needed four screws and need help to find them, absolutely no one to help so left and went to the ACE on Barker Cypress, my new go to for hard to find items.

I usually go here when I cant find what I need elsewhere. They normally have it. Customer service is excellent and they normally can answer questions the Larger Corporate store staff cant or wont.Rocky in particular is great and will followup with you. Highly recommended.

The best customer service you can ask for. Half the time I wont know what I need walking in and theyll make sure I got what I needed by the time Im walking out without trying sell me something I never needed like other places. I guarantee youll love it here.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They have alternative brands that Lowes and Home Depot dont carry. Especially good lawn fertilizers and weed killers that are specifically designed for the grass we use and weeds we get here in Texas... instead of national brands that dont work as well, because they are trying to cater to all of the US.

Ive gone to these guys for so many different types of home projects: sprinkler systems, paint, wall repair, plumbing, etc. Each time theyve gone out of their way to offer me advice and even instructions on how to do the repairs.I have an older home and pieces of it break unexpectedly. And like a crotchety old man, it stares at me judgmentally insinuating that its all my fault. This last summer, for example, I had a major leak on my main water shut-off valve, and had no idea how or where to start. I had a professional plumbing company quote me (over the phone) several hundred dollars to replace it entirely. So before going that route, I brought the Ace guys pictures (and eventually the entire system) to see if I could repair it on my own. They helped me identify and remove one of the relief valves that had fractured like a bad hip (did I mention it was a HUGE amount of high-pressured water?) and replace it, then explain how to repair and rejoin the PVC pipes to it. Now it works perfectly.In short, instead of duping me into buying extra parts or lazily sending me elsewhere, they went the extra mile to teach me how to do it, and that made all the difference.

I was in and out , no long lines.
