Update from previous review. After waiting 2 months, I finally got my doors repaired, thanks to my sales rep. Johnny, who personally came to see that the work was completed properly. Would have done 4 stars, but the wait was too long. Johnny is a credit to the company. If not for him, Id have never gotten my doors fixed.

Below average work at above average prices. Well below my expectations on quality after hearing so much good information from sales rep. Did not complete all work as promised. When repairmen showed up, they immediately stated that doors should be replaced after the sales rep ordered the repair. Repaint overspray and other areas left unpainted. Paint lasted about 1 week on handles. Even after I made contact with company and completed a survey rating the workmanship as poor, no one has come back to see how they can make job right. Only reason not one star is sales rep attempted to do his job. But, follow up has been poor. Recommendation for others is to use different company. Pics of work available.

Oh how I love my vortex lol. I have become a regular calling on them within the past few months for various situations ranging from rolling shipping dock doors, full metal building back doors, and what you could say is a glass storefront door. They do not half do work and just do the bare minimal to make a dollar. I have had two doors give me major problems and they made sure to take their time order the parts if they do not have them in stock and fix the door right the first time. These people will not half fix anything. When they fix your door they make sure it lasts for a long time with quality service. I have had two shipping dock doors break one after another and these people pointed out things about the doors I didn’t even notice until they said something. If it wasn’t for their guys being well trained they would have done the bare minimal and seen me in a few months with a broken door all over again. Nope not vortex they are taking their time and getting it correct the first time. They have come every single time with a smile and awesome attitude. I’m not always available after I call them so sometimes I get back to my desk and phone and they are already there waiting on me to point out what door it is that messed up this time lol. (Now sorry if I misspell names) brandy and Alexa? I think are how you spell their names are the two ladies I always talk to every time and they give me the answers I need sometimes a few laughs in between. They get me on the schedule and taken care of when I need it without question. If they call me back they will try at-least 3 times including one being a voicemail no matter what. Now as for my guys. They are awesome! I think I know who the other review is referring to with the tattoos and he is far from a convict he’s actually a really smart sweet guy with a bright personality but people always judge a book by its cover and miss out on good things in the process. Keep up the good work my fellow on call door experts y’all will be hearing from me soon as always 👍🏻😁

If I could give them a negative star I would. I contacted the company on 3 July 2018 for services; the dispatcher told me theyd be able to make repairs to my store front that day. A technician would call when he/she was 30 minutes away; i never received the call. I received a call later saying theyd attempted to call numerous times and never got a answer...i had no missed calls. I then scheduled a Friday appointment; dispatch called at 07:55 and said a technician would be at my site at 08:30...by 9:30 they were a no show. At 9:50 i received a call that a technician was there; after i explained id waited over an hour....he suggested another reschedule. I am going to find another company...I will NOT do business with them.The manager of the organization reached out and offered to rectify the situation; he sent out a technician that did an awesome job. The follow up was white glove treatment attention to detail. Should I need storefront door repairs in the future; ill give the vendor anothher shot at providing service. Because of the follow up...ive changed my rating from a negative 1 to a solid 3.

These guys are a joke are at least I should say the employees that come out to service the doors. one employee which, he looked like a ex-con with tattoos all over the place.Something told me to look at the reviews of this place and I did.To find out that another customer who posted a review experienced a similar situation made me post this review. Its kinda Ironic how when these guys left not 2days later the springs on my garage door snapped. Hmmmm I wonder if that was because I had to curse the forman out for trying to screw us on price.My point to other companys/owners , dont deal with this place are they will screw something up just so you can be out money
