Honestly, I hate the fact that they are so good. The vegan glazed donut hit the spot and wasnt too sugary. The freshness of the donuts was incredible. I look for reasons to reward myself. Great prices delicious treats.

Went late on a Sunday morning after having just delivered packages since 3 am, desperately needing coffee. The place didnt seem very busy, but there was a couple that couldnt make up their minds, one lonely man, myself, and one tired looking cashier. Took forever. Didnt have much for coffee choices, but that & the donuts were tasty and helped keep me awake on my drive home. Dont really get the hype about this place though, just a bright pink donut shop.

Awesome and cool options but nothing seemed real fresh. IMO the regular glazed, glazed cake and filled are the best options. Definitely worth checking out since it’s something out of the ordinary.

Theres so many huge donuts in this place I dont know what to pick! Ive only had the Homer and Grape Ape, but the grape is by far better tasting than the other one. Once I knew it tasted great I just had to share with my family how different, huge, pretty, and tasty the donuts were.If Im ever close to the donut shop Id probably try something else, but if youre new here like I was I recommend the Grape Ape as a first!

Drove 2 and a half hours just for these doughnuts. They are very special treat to get every once in a while, but we absolutely adore them. I LOVE the Mango Tango. The combination of sour Tang and sweet doughnut... perfection!

Vegan donuts are the best , my go to is the ODB and dirt. The voodoo doll is sooo good too! All the other ones look so yummy but they’re not vegan. I’m here every week or every 2 days

The staff were helpful when I came to get a gift card (they were nice enough to look around to find the cards, even though it took a few minutes to find them) and some treats to-go. The doughnuts were fantastic. I look forward to trying some other flavors soon!

So first time I had these donuts was in Portland, my cousins swore by them so we stood in line. An hour later and yup it was worth it. Then found them in Austin and now here at home In Houston!! Love the shop, love the peeps and super love the Voodoo Doll. Cant go wrong with the dozen, definitely recommend!!

I’ve been on a hunt for some real cake donuts. I thought I was going to have to friends express mail some to Houston for me. My sis invited me here and OMG I am in love. We loved everything. Everything was fresh, and the cake donut was everything a real cake donut should taste like.

These are the best donuts Ive ever had! The price is affordable for what youre getting and the novelty of them makes them super fun. However, I ordered the Voodoo Box and was shorted a donut. I, sadly, didnt notice until I got home... to Fort Worth. The maple bacon is one of my favorites! I super hope we get one of these in the DFW area soon!

I order from this location a few times a month, and I have never been served anything like this. I don’t even know how this was allowed. The donuts are clearly very old - and I’m talking older than a day.Tried reaching out to the location via phone and email with no response for a refund. Experience has ruined my appetite for Voodoo Donuts.

First time I went the service was pretty friendly and when asked to give recommendations she right away recommended a few. The donuts are pretty good. Also they have a bunch to pick from! Their donuts are expensive relatively speaking. Theyre good but not great. Lots of flavor combos and the amount of ingredients/ extras they put on their pastries is probably why the price is higher than other donut joints.My favorites are the mango filled donut and the maple bacon donut.

Kudos to Voodoo for being the original weird donut shop. The donuts are just not good. Donuts are not supposed to be dense and doughy but these were. The cake donuts must have been old because they were soggy and had no crisp outside. Been to the original one in Portland and wasnt impressed by that one either. Theres way better donuts in Houston people. Not sure why so many people are giving this place good reviews. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Maybe people are just enamored with brand.

If you love donuts, I dont really need to say anything else. The double chocolate is my favorite. The prices are surprisingly reasonable. Yeah, more expensive than Shipleys, but not a LOT more. They can get very crowded and busy! No kolaches if thats your thing.

Went here for the first time with my brothers! AMAZING doughnuts! I had the Maple Cream (Bavarian Cream inside) , Mango Cream (Mango Creme inside), and the Homer Doughnut (strawberry cream)!The donuts have a crunch on the outside but quickly softens as you bite through! It’s not too sweet where you get that sickly-sweet feeling.My biggest surprise was the club music - I would come here JUST for the music cuz it made the place feel more fun!Come here after a heavy workout and after eating your meal - best way to end the night!

We went to the original one in Portland a couple of years ago and was surprised to see one in Houston the other day! This is a great addition to the city! This one is still strange and interesting, but also much nicer than the one in Portland. The donuts are great and thats what really matters! I will go back as soon as I can...

Staff is very friendly here and they also have an amazing concoction of donuts. I reviewed the menu online prior to entering and planned on ordering only 2 donuts but when I got there and saw the tempting assortment I ended up buying half a dozen! The filled donuts had a rich and thick pastry cream and the raspberry filled were delicious. There was a perfect balance of an abundance of filling and spongy donut with just the right amount of chew. Definitely worth the calories!

BEST DONUTS EVER!!!!! Like even second day! My boyfriend and I went into this charming location two days ago. Theres a huge sign on the outside of the building telling you exactly what they have available so you have time to decide, which youll need! Not to mention PINK EVERYTHING! We got a mix and the selection catered to my boyfriends unhinged sweet tooth and my need for something simple. Not to mention receiving the BEST customer service from the lovely eyed Kira who provided her favorite, Chuckles and it DEFINITELY does taste like a Snickers! We will definitely be back and we are pleased to have them a part of Houston! Made our munchies epic.Update:My boyfriend JUST explained the pun about ole Chuckles. LOL. 💚

They have a good selection of donuts including vegan options!!! Very surprised by that but grateful. They could use more juice options/soda options. It was after 9pm and the donuts were still fresh, fluffy and delicious. Great customer service and friendly staff. We were also surprised they had a drive through. This is a staple establishment for the Portland, OR area but Im glad you all have expanded. Oh did I mention they are open 24hours!!!!

I just cant Express enough how Much I truly love this donut shop! Omg the Portland Cream is Heavenly! The decor her is simply Gorgeous and perfectly Pink! I was very disappointed with the fact that I got home to realize that my blunt had green sprinkles and not red. The point of purchase was to give out the the blunt for 4/20 today! That just makes no sense for the sprinkles to be green. I didn’t just buy one but two! The employee that I spoke with said he wasn’t sure why it was green but someone decided to just place green sprinkles today! Very upset! Not only that but the donuts are super cold! 😡😡 hope to hear back with a response.

I love the way the store is setup! I love the feeling I get when I enter! The Voodoo donut is really good with the filling! I also got Guava with coconut sprinkles donut, that tasted amazing too! I highly recommend that yall check this place out!

Good variety, friendly staff. Line was very long, out the door, but social distancing made it seam much worse than it actually was. Staff was efficient and wait was only about 10 minutes. Everything very fresh, warm and tasty. I liked it a lot! 😁

Love that they are open 24/7 because who doesn’t crave donuts aside from morning. I definitely was little overwhelmed by all their amazing donuts so many to choose from so we picked one of their box with a dozen that came with a variety. Price is little high but so think was definitely worth it they all tasted so good. Will definitely be stopping by again. Only down side that I would say so far for me hopefully they open more locations around town maybe like Cypress or Katy.

My first day trying it today i got the captain crunch donuts, the bad thing is that of course the cereal were slightly stale, good thing is that it’s not too sweet. It was good and i would try it again. Also, they are pretty big 👍🏾👍🏾😁

One of the best donut shops in Houston. Best part is that they are open 24 hours! Have tried quite a few donuts. Portland Cream & double chocolate have been consistently good. They do have seasonal specials. All donuts have been good so far.Service is very efficient. The drive through lines are occasionally very long but moves fast. They dont really have too much parking.

I’ve been to several Voodoo Doughnuts, including the Portland location where I was first introduced to the magical donut greatness and let me say it is worth the stop if you want some good, unique, and flavorful doughnuts!! I was really impressed with the Houston location due to its cleanliness and efficiency. There was zero wait time and the food was fresh too!

Seen this little Gem as I was driving to H.E.B when we were visiting the city.We saw the creative sign and pulled in.Walked in and saw doughnuts in rotating display cases.Got some for my best friends 40th that they custom decorated.The customer service was top notch.Like their motto states the best things come in pink boxes.

We were finally able to make it here. The lines had been so long for a very long time that we were always deterred from going because of the wait. But. We ordered a Viscous Hibiscus, Oh Captain My Captain, Portland Cream, and a regular ole glazed. Man. All I can say is we shouldve waited in line back when it opened. I had the Hibiscus donut and lort. The flavor was delicious and it was so BIG it fit in my whole hand! My whole family enjoyed their donuts. Kinda expensive but worth it if youre looking for something sweet and different from your regular donuts.

Great donuts with some interesting toppings. Coffee needs improvement but the donuts are yummy. Fluffy and not greasy at all.

The donuts were pretty tasty but cold. Im not sure of you can ask for them to be warmed with all the frosting and everything but that would make them better or them being fresh. Anyway the just ok rating is because the lady at the drive through was not paying attention. We repeated out order twice at the speaker drove up and had to repeat it 3 extra times and she still missed something. We only ordered 4 donuts, a water, and a Capri sun. It was my first time there too and that put a damper on things. I got the maple bacon and the Homer. My gf got the Homer and the dirt. The Homer was our favorite. I didnt care for the bacon on the maple bacon it was chewy and cold. Once I took it off the donut got better. My gf didnt care for the sprinkles on the Homer but I loved them. I think its just a texture thing. We both didnt care for the dirt. The cookies were soft probably from sitting out so long.. overall it was a meh experience. I wouldnt go out of my was to go back.

Excellent donuts like no other. This place seems to stay busy all day for good reason. I loved the novelty type donuts except the candy covered ones that dont really taste like youd expect. My kids did not like the novelty donuts but loved the classic type flavors.

This place is so fun! They have the menu on the building as you walk up to the door, so if youre in line youll have the chance to try to decide before you make it up to the register. Do yourself a favor and get the Voodoo dozen. The oreo and the maple bacon doughnuts were probably my favorite, but its almost impossible to choose whats best. Cool staff. Took over location of the old Sammys Wild Game Grill, so its in a decent spot to get in and out, but parking is limited.

Stood outside 30+ minutes to get in. Drive thru wrapped around building. Fast friendly service once you place your order. Had all donuts advertised. Would come back if in Houston. Sold t-shirts, panties, hats, stickers, and drinks, milk, water, Ive coffee in a bottle. Very cool experience. Its a Ive been there before place not an everyday place. Great ideas for donuts.

Voodoo donuts was on my Portland, OR bucket list for years! Sadly, I never got the chance to go there, but was delightfully surprised when they announced they would be opening one here in Houston!Their donuts are super tasty and rival the donuts sold at Shipleys. The staff is nice and very knowledgeable about their donuts. You can buy merchandise in the store. It was a great overall experience!

Definitely worth a visit. Not a fan of trends or fads but the donuts were really yummy.We had the Dirt, Old Dirty Bastard, Blueberry Cake, and Hi Tea, and neither disappointed !!!Staff was really friendly and the place is really cute so even though there is a drive-thru, its worth an inside visit.Weekends are very busy since it is fairly new but we stopped in during a weekday and lines were manageable. Glad we did :)

Came in to try the donuts. Decided to buy a half dozen.However when our donuts were ready, the cashier asked us if wed like to get a free box of Mystery Donuts, which I obviously accepted. So I walked out with a dozen donuts!!All the donuts were fresh and delicious, but Mango Tango was super delish and Guava Colada was also super delicious.Definitely wouldnt mind coming back for some more donuts from Voodoo!

Highly overpriced for what it is. They do have vegan options. Dont stand in line for these.Disappointed in a pretty pink box. I ordered a Voodoo dozen to take them for vegetarian friends.I was not asked by the attendant if I wanted meat on my donuts.......that is not a question I would expect.When I opened the box, there was bacon in there. What a waste!Be very very careful of their ingredients.

I cant explain how excited I am that a Voodoo Doughnut opened in Houston! These doughnuts are beyond good. They have about 30 different options and they are all good. My personal favorite so far is the homer or the blueberry cake. Just a heads up the lines are going to be super long so I would recommend budgeting a lot of time.

So I was driving down Washington Avenue and my sweet tooth kicked in and there was Voodoo Donuts. I just had to pull in and grab me a couple of donuts. I ordered a doughnut and a pastry toll with cream cheese in it $4.75 drive out fir a doughnut and a pastry. The donut and pastry were good but they werent that much better than when I get already from Shipleys for $0.60 each. Ask me if Im going back to Voodoo Donuts. Not

Menu prices were higher in person. The Guy at the register was wearing gloves to grab the donuts however with the same gloves would grab the menu every one that walks in to order grabs.... Defeats yhe entire purpose in my opinion. I spent $22 for 13 donuts. And they were okay. On the pic some are missing the kids ate them.

Visiting Houston from Miami these donuts were some fire🔥 🍩. Im not a donut eater, but I had too try them. So many to choose from so I ordered 7 for me & the family & pinched off them all 😆. But the mistake I made was ordering online, dont get me wrong they have a large online selection but an even bigger selection on the inside. My favorite was the buttermilk donut OMG!!! It had a lil crisp on the top but was pillow soft in the middle & if you love grape flavor please indulge in the Grape Ape 🍩 so yummy. Oh, yeah majority of them are gigantic.

I live for creativity and Voodoo Doughnut works hard at just that. Their doughnuts have personality and character, much like the staff and owners, that are hard to miss. Right now its only been one week, and traffic is still steady. The jobs given by this establishment will generate great income as well as revenue for the area. Its not just a doughnut, its an experience.

So I finally tried these today. Went through the drive-thru. It was right before lunch so there was no line. I ordered the classic dozen which consists of 12 different donuts. The box is so cute!!!! I love the variety. The glazed donuts were HUGE. I ate the buttermilk bar. It taste like a grade A Little Debbie donut stick. (One of my favs) The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We were happy with it. We will be back!
