I never noticed this place. Before today, but my friend was needing a sugar fix . There are no vegan options here this is donut shop classic donuts and kolaches. The clerk told me independently owned for over 26 years. I noticed a core of locals coming through. It is clean service fast and friendly. There is ample parking

Went on a little excursion today to sample some donuts - had the simple glazed, maple bacon and a sausage cheese kolache.Didnt really care for the raised n glazed or the kolache but the maple bacon was tasty!Service was friendly and fast!

Donuts are homemade and it shows on the taste...we have a similar place in Columbus, Ohio and local is always on point.

Very kind staff. He was funny when I asked where the name of the shop came from and we joked about missing the King in the name. The staff seem happy to work there, like they enjoy their jobs. First time at Queens. Inexpensive place compared to other chain donut places. The lady was super nice and gave us free donuts.

A millennia ago, baking donuts was my first job out of college. In my 3 month career, I sampled the product, quality control and all. I learned that a raised donut more than 3 hours from the fat changes texture and mouth feel. I try to stop for them in the morning before 10. I happened on Queen donuts for the first time as I drove by at lunch time. I sampled the basic glazed which was a light tan in color showing that it had been cooked quickly and had been exposed to the fat as little as possible so not heavy or greasy. The glaze was even, clear and shiny. It appeared to be less than 3-hour-from-the-fat fresh. I bit in and was rewarded with a mouth of delicate flavor encased in lighter-than-air shell. Eureka! I have discovered the best donut in Houston. At 1pm, no less. There are good donuts to be found in the Montrose, where I live, and decent ones around town, but Queens is the only place to find an excellent donut.

Hidden gem! Infinitely better than Dunkin, everything was FRESH and FLUFFY, maybe the fluffiest donut I ever ate! I took 4 extraordinary sausage jalapeno rolls to go with me back to Dallas. Even tomorrow they will probably be better than whats near my house. I didnt try their baked cinnamon roll w/cream cheese icing (because a guy bought the last one right in front of me), but next time Im in HOU Ill get here earlier!

Been here since I was 8 years old. Always been the same and taste delicious, anyone who says otherwise clearly believes dunken donuts or Shipley donuts has better kolaches or donuts.

They have THE BEST sausage cheese kolaches in Texas. I love that it’s not overwhelmed with bread like other places. The sausage piece is huge and delicious. Anytime you go there, even late in the morning, the donuts are warm and fresh! The staff are super friendly as well and it’s a clean joint.

Friendly staff! Good kolaches, sweet dough. Not the real deal though. Donuts are good when hot! Dont get donut holes after 11am. A little expensive just in general.

Your typical donut place, but they do have these sausage donuts that are pretty great. Its like a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich except the bread part is a donut. Yummy

Came down from Dallas for work and looked for a great breakfast joint. Stumbled upon Queen Donut shop and boy was I impressed!! Clean, great people, awesome food! Definitely a 5 star!

Idk they were okay average at best. I had old fashion, glazed, sausageKolache. Not real sausage it’s that hot dog inside a ton of bread. Can never find the Chappell hill type sausage anymore. I think Shipley is still way better at least they serve warm donuts if you go early. I went here at 830. Not warm so idk basic if u ask me

OMG the sausage and cheese croissants and the powder sugar donuts are off the chain...I dont like kolaches so the croissants are my go to here. They also have great customer service.💯

Old fashioned Houston kolaches and donuts

The jumbo jalapeño sausage are my favorite kolaches anywhere. Pastry is so soft and theres the perfect combination of subtle sweet to compliment the succulent meat. Service is second to none. Even when theres a line you can be in and out in a few mins.

I love the service staff, they are always so polite. The croissant breakfast and every kind of donut and drink selection make this place one of my dad and Is favorite cheat meal place

Donuts were excellent. At least as good as Shipley’s— better even, depending which Shipley’s you compare to. Kolaches were so-so. Service was fast. I took off a star for the Kolaches and the $5 min credit card charge.

The best kolaches around. These are not traditional kolaches but the pigs-in-a-blanket or sausage roll variety. I wish they stayed open all night!
