Not everything (plants, flowers or trees) grows well or is easy to grow in this planting zone. So if you aren’t experienced at having a green thumb or don’t care to read and research your project carefully, then ask any question.I have tried a few companies, over the years before this company and I am most impressed overall with Pasadena Mulch. Excellent service, I called last minute to order some dirt and they went out of their way to give me a same day delivery. After checking different places their price was the lowest one. Definitely recommend this place and will continue going back for future projects.

So, I ordered 6 cubic yards of dirt. Dump trucks fill to 10-12 cubic yards per a dump truck load. Thats not what was delivered: it looks more like 2-3 cubic yards. The dirt blend (they dont sell topsoil) is mostly sand, nearly white in color. Im not sure that the St Augustine sod that I plan to lay Sunday will take to this. I went because of the outstanding Google Review rating. This was a first and last purchase for me.

These guys are simply THE BEST!! We used their dirt for our plants and it far outperformed that of a well known local nursery for growing vegetables. Our plants died two years in a row with that dirt and we were told gardens take years... Umm, nope you just sell expensive, poor dirt that turns to powder. But not Pasadena Sand & Mulch!They also have amazing, large and sturdy flagstone. And an on-line calculator to tell you how much you need to buy. Their sod has always lived as well. Just very impressed every time weve been there, be sure and ask for Martin and Alfred - they make it so easy to buy there! Great customer service.

I am having a above ground pool put in my backyard this summer, needed some top soil to fill in some holes and level out the yard. I called to get a quote on delivery. The guy that I talked to Ryan was very helpful. He had told me that he could deliver it that day but since it had been raining it would be a mess to move. So I took his advice, waited a few days and we stayed in touch via the phone to schedule the best time. They were very flexible. The delivery man was very nice but the minute he left, it started raining again and I ended up moving mud lol. The weather man was wrong that time. Besides the rain the over experience I had was very positive with his company.

Hung up on me twice after I asked to place an order. Rude.

Called and was immediately put on hold and was left there for 5 minutes before I hung up.

Called in at last minute and needed black mulch for a project we had the next day. This company is very helpful, friendly, accommodated us, and scheduled us for next day. Thanks so much!
