Wonderful food and staff are very nice. I came for roasted beef but saw the fish and ordered the fish. Wow, it was nice, if you are seafood lover, you shall try their fish.

This is the wholesome atmosphere people have been reminiscing about when it comes to family diners! The food is fresh and plentiful while the service is friendly and abundant.When I remember watching old television shows of diners from the past, the jovial environment, the local regulars laughing over a cup of Joe, the sweet waitresses making your children feel so special - Simos Diner definitely comes to mind.My son and I are willing to drive 30 minutes from Stafford every other weekend just to spend time together at Simos Diner. Theres no better place to enjoy good food and even better service than Simos Diner! Highly recommend 😄

This place is nice and clean, service was excellent and polite with friendly greetings from workers as you walk in. Loved the food and appreciate the good music with my breakfast and coffee. I will definitely come back again. Forgot to mention that I especially, loved having a clean table as I enjoyed a cup of coffee. 🙂

Egg white garden vegetable omelette with grits and wheat toast. Everything was good.

The place is always clean , ever in the restroom the breakfast is good an a fair price ! The mother and the son that run the place is alway nice and understand ! They like to give by as well . mother like my banana pudding. Lol. Love this place ! I go twice a week sometime !!

Service was great. Ordered a Greek salad with chicken and it was very good. Issue for me, business closes at 3pm local time. Breakfast wasnt being served anymore. Soup was not being served. Maybe a bad day but felt like it was restricted quite a bit for an 1130am arrival at the diner.

This basic diner done right . Outstanding Marisa kept coffee full and was friendly . Strong coffee and the basics .vegan choices are limited fruit plate and coffee. Comfort food steam table lunch. My friend loved the eggs and bacon. Clean and full of regulars , so many police and fire fighters that you’re safe in emergency.

Extremely polite staff with a family friendly attitude, food was cooked fresh and didnt have to wait long at all, I really liked that they had bar top seating and everything was seat yourself!

Theres a secret menu item called the Greek burger, burger patty, gyro meat, fried egg, feta cheese, taziki sauce and the vegetables! Best 12$ I ever spent on a burger! Simos is a hidden gem. They have a menu that features burgers and some Greek dishes, items Ive yet to order, but their real attraction is the steam table line. A classis meat plus three. Three sides that is. The main courses range from chicken fried steak to stuffed cabbage. My favorite item is the fried fish. A mild white fish coated with cornmeal and perfectly fried. A few weeks ago they had lamb shank, and it was flawless. Most of the side dishes are made with fresh vegetables instead of canned. Veggies like steamed broccoli, stewed squash, greens, and boiled cabbage. I always get a small Greek salad as one of my sides. Honestly, the food is fresh homemade style and you could survive eating there everyday. Simos has many regular customers, including me. The building and prices are quite modest. The service is friendly and welcoming. Keep in mind they close early at 3pm.

Had the steam table lunch. Served plate portions were plenty. Had the chicken pot pie along with sides. Sides were delicious. Pot pie was a little bland. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly and courteous.

My family and I had breakfast here. Excellent service, excellent food, waitresses are so friendly and attentive. They make you like family.The own picked up our tab. My husband forgot his wallet and the owner went out of his way to find him to return it to him. 👍

Friendly family run old time restaurant. Set up cafeteria style. Daughter and I had a late lunch on a chilly day and the lentil soup really hit the spot. The homemade tarter sauce for my fish was great, and daughter enjoyed the generous serving of chopped steak and gravy. I hope you will support this nice establishment!

What a hidden gem of a place! So good . I almost burst from eating so much . Good , hot , seasoned well food . Had the chicken fried steak , mac n cheese, greens and a salad. Hibernation time after that meal , Im telling you . Ill definitely be back ! Bringing my A game for breakfast next time .

I really love this little diner the food is not all that expensive. Plus it’s close to my job so it is convenient when I get off work after the night shift. Customer service is on point the staff is very friendly and you get your order in a timely manner. I will be a repeat customer to this establishment.

Small neighborhood diner. Only breakfast and lunch. Best side dishes served to date next to an excellent main course. Server was beyond reproach.

What a great find, this dining place is! The food is fresh and delicious and there are good healthy choices. Our server was bright, attentive, and friendly (Christina is her name). There are 3 things that could be better, but overall this would be my go-to Saturday morning breakfast spot. Those three things are: 1. It is a little noisy, 2. They do not have or offer real butter, 3. The restroom needs a refresher. Other than that, the food is great, the service is friendly and upbeat, and the menu selections are good.

I first went there from a meeting at the heights a bunch of EAI alumnis. Its a wonderful family home like atmosphere. Cant wait to go back again

Small family diner huge on charm and quality!! Daily lunch specials! Lucky us, it was chicken & dumplings and prime rib! Best prime rib I’ve had since I made it, and much more enjoyable 🥰. Our waitress was a grandmother supporting her kids during corona times. Bless these folks for a wonderful lunch!

We had to drive to Houston from Dallas one day, to get our drivers license. We stopped in at this place for breakfast. We had the pancakes with bacon, and the Simos special. Food was good, prices were super affordable, bathrooms were cleaned and so was the dining area. Nice little spot. If I lived in Houston, I would definitely be a regular.

Old style roadside dinet. Nice Lubbys style serving line. Western American fare with Greek. Cutie waitresses.

This is the best family owed restaurant. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The owners are always at the front counter greeting the customers when they walk in. The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is amazing. If you havent tried it out yet, I highly recommend coming.

Simos is located on North Shepherd near Pinemont. Their breakfasts are filling and delicious. (Country Style).... today we stopped in for lunch. Beef Stew is enough for two persons. My friend had the gyros. Prices are affordable. Enjoy!

Loved trying this long-standing local diner. Their buffet style steam table was amazing and we also ordered the gyro sandwich off the menu. All was very tasty, not too salty or greasy. I can see why some people come here daily or multiple times a week!

Try their Sizzling Gyro- Greek Lamb Pita with Tzatziki Sauce! EXCELLENT! MUST TRY! I worked here 2 different times. HOME cooking-cut and cooked from scratch. Great people that own the place. laid-back casual comfortable atmosphere. FAB rolls and cornbread. has a special everyday. HUGE breakfast. Reasonable lunch-I believe you get 1 meat, 2 sides and a roll or cornbread for $10-12. they close at 3-breakfast and lunch only!!!
