I would recommend coming here during events. They have unique flavors based on the themes. Line may be long but their food and decorations are amazing.

I walked in here and never wanted to leave. I don’t like Harry Potter but this place inspired me to start reading the books! Their cherry blossom drink transported me to Japan and their beautiful scenery. This place is amazing and I will have to come back soon.

I’ll reiterate what another reviewer stated: keep an open mind and have a little patience ready.The shop is in the middle of Chinatown, which makes it a little out of place to begin with. The decor is all Harry Potter themed, and it is really well done! It’s small, which is where the patience comes in. Seating is limited, but wasn’t a problem when I was there. I can’t say enough about the atmosphere. Very well done. The music is off the movie soundtrack, I believe. Awesome.They had several Harry Potter themed “potion” drinks and treats. I got the Mandrake Fertilizer. Mostly chocolate ice cream with a few sprinkles and an Oreo. The ice cream wasn’t very tasty, which was a bit disappointing.Here’s my other issue with Popfancy. It’s such a FUN place, but the employees do not exude the enthusiasm of being able to work here. The reception was robotic at best, which would be fine if today’s theme was whatever robot movie you’d like to insert here. But it wasn’t. We’re they under a boriamus spell? I don’t know. But I wasn’t feeling it from any of the employees. A shame. This place deserves service that matches the decor.

A wonderful place to share a dessert with a close friend or someone you love. The drinks offer great presentation and are quite delicious and the decor is top notch! A first timer and would definitely visit again!

I absolutely love this place! We went to the Pokemon theme last time and knew we had to return for the Harry Potter! You can tell this business puts in A LOT of hard work to make it look so spectacular and come up with these amazing menu treats! They all tasted yummy, the waffle wand was my favorite! Yes, the line can get long but its completely worth it and all the workers there are super kind so try to establish some patience for these amazing people! We did send them an Instagram message asking what time/day was best to go and they replied promptly. We took their suggestion and waited about 10mins in line as a walk-in. ❤Themes we hope to see one day: Tokyo Ghoul, Dragon Ball Z and Gundam! But definitely hoping to see a Christmas theme too! ❤

Ive been to 2 pop ups so far for this place and I loved them. Both times were a great experience, just keep an open mind. I say this because their pop-ups are very popular and get a lot of traffic. There virtual wait line system is great! Easy to understand and easy to use. I really like the desserts they serve. When they sell items, just double check to make sure its in proper condition.

My favorite dessert spot in Houston!!!!! My boyfriend and I love coming here for date night. Not only are the desserts delicious, but the atmosphere is so much fun. They are always doing different fandom themed events. I’ve already been to the Sailor Moon and BTS one. So when I heard they were doing a Harry Potter themed one, I came as soon as I could! I am in awe of the staff. The service and attention to detail is insane. They always have cute items you can purchase too. Love you guys!

This place was on point with the theme! Loved the setup and they even had the entrance hosts in the gear and the music playing outside. DJ did well on the music 👌🏽. Overall things werent over priced and was worth doing the virtual online. Desserts are good price and delicious. At 12 pm, I was number #1546 in line and got into the place by 6:30 pm. I enjoyed it and hopefully they do a my hero academia or demon slayer one!

I went to the Temple of the Guardians event. It was great! They do themed events for different things and the desserts are cute and delicious! Highly recommended.

I have tried the Matcha Kitkat pop, cookies n cream shake, strawberry parfait waffle pop, and the chocolate lovers waffle pop. I loved all of them! The service is quick and everything tastes fresh here. I highly recommend trying any of the pops and waffle pops.

Reservations and mask guidelines mean nothing here FYI. You will be packed in, then yelled at about where to stand but theres no place to sit. I paid $ to be treated like that pfft 👎I was there Friday at 1:30p. PS the back exit door was blocked by a bunch of stuff. I know because it was so crowded I tried to leave that way and couldnt. Be careful.

From July 30th to August 15th it is a Pokemon themed desert and tea bar. Drinks are super colorful and ymmu. If you love Pokemon totally worth coming to for!

A suuuuper SWEET treat! Now sugar isnt usually my thing, but these were fun and worth a little indulgence. I got the cereal monster bowl to-go, and it was quite festive! They have customization available which was great and for a treat its about 6 bucks an item (unless you eat light and you and your sweetheart split it! ) and it was a cute experience and I enjoyed it!

Came to this dessert bar when they transformed it into The Rocket Hideout! Super packed but it was super cool :) you should definitely come down when you can! My family and I got the strawberry egg milk tea and the vine whip mint sundae.

Very genius idea of combining desserts and anime together.Visited this place with my friends, they have been wanting to attend Sailor moon event and they loved it.The place was packed when we arrived. I wish they had more space inside to accommodate more people.Desserts were fun and tasty. I had venus love and beauty shock drink which was surprisingly good and refreshing. Also I tried Saturn silence glaive surprise (thats a mouthful name for a dessert) it was alright. My wife loved it because of the representation of the dessert.Overall experience was good. I went to the pop up magical girl cafe. It was fun, the desserts were good. The activities were fun, too. I enjoyed myself--the area was just a bit too crowded for my liking. Again, corona. I had also waited so long, I was outside the time block allotted to me. They still let me in, but suffice to say, there were a lot of people.

Traveled all the way from Dallas for the AOT event and it was completely worth it! Thanks to all the Popfancy/event staff we had a great experience. You’re all the best!P.S - the desserts were yummy and the drinks were so refreshing, thanks again! 💜

Poorly managed and ran. He will stand outside waiting to get in with no guarantee. We were in the standby line for Harry Potter and they do not work standby people in unless the entire reservation line is cleaned out. There’s no option on the website to even make a reservation because it’s completely booked.The employees are not even working the line telling people that they’re standing in the wrong lineOne for lady was told to go to the end of the standby line because she had not checked in virtuallyPoorly managed, poorly ran, poorly organized it’s a shame because we really wanted to get in

Went to an Attack on Titan PopUp here and IT WAS AWESOME! If you are wanting a dessert even on regular days without a theme, their desserts are for sure going to hit the sweet spot and take care of any sweet tooth.Staff was super helpful when we got there and made sure we got in at the time we had. They even were super knowledgeable on the desserts they were selling and helped us decide what to get. Awesome experience and fun time for anyone of any age.♥️

Really loving the themed event ideas. It brings something new and fun to houston. Staff is nice, they keep things clean and the food was cute and tasty.UPDATE my original review was when I came in on a weekday. The weekend was over packed to the point it was a fire code violation. They let in so many people you couldnt move or enjoy the experience people were so squished together you could smell their sweat from standing outside in the heat. The music was so loud you couldnt hear anyone and the staff couldnt hear your order. Ive seen multiple replies from this company saying if you didnt like how busy it was come on a weekday. That is an unacceptable answer it is the companies fault for allowing too many people in at a time. It overwhelmed the staff to the point no tables were getting cleaned because customers were so desperate to find a table just to have a space.

I do really like this place and the strip mall that is in. The desserts were awesome and the boba drinks were delicious. My daughter was very excited to come to this store with all the anime costumes and artwork. Her eyes truly lit up when she saw all the sailor Moon girls and their costumes. You have a great product and in a very unique style and I can see you being very successful in the future. Unfortunately it was a bit cluttered your back hallway was a mess and the store was a little dirty. The manager was there and did not even say hello or speak to any of his guests that spent good money on their specialty drinks and desserts. More customer interaction is essential your clients are the most important part of your business. Even though your business has a good concept and good products if you do not make that connection with your clientele they wont come back. Pay attention to detail when it comes to certain things customers look at everything and judge you by what they see. Your glass windows were filthy your restrooms were a little messy tables were not cleaned after other guests sat there and your register people could have been a little bit more charismatic and informative. I will recommend this place in the future to go check it out because you have so many options in this mall and this is a good place to get a quick snack and a good tasting drink for a fair price. And if your kids like manga books and anime that would love this place.

Loved this place, decor is fun and cute. Good spot for fun selfies. The ice cream was super refreshing and not overly sweet...a big plus for me. They will mix in you choice of yummy toppings. I will definitely go back! Yum!!

Once the sort of wow factor wears off you realize its kind of just a novelty. The treats are more for instagram and posting rather than enjoying. The service was alright but definitely a bit cold and unfriendly. It was a fun time though with my friend!

Overall I had a great time BUT the location is small, it was packed, disorganized, and it did not matter if you had a reservation or not. You still had to wait in a long line outside in the heat even though I paid for a reservation. The desserts and drinks was decent but they did not have the Sailor moon decor as advertised. It was hard to fully enjoy the Sailor moon pop up experience.

Went to this place due to a Tik Tok post on Sailor Moon. Still was not disappointed! They have it set up right now for Attack on Titians! Dessert was amazing though and super cute! One of the owners Chris I believe it was over heard me mooning out. Then informed me about more Sailor Moon dates they will have. Im super excited to go back for an event! I cannot wait!!! They also do Kpop events as well!

Very cute place with fun twist on cereal deserts. I was happy with the price and the value, but the place was a little crowded with limited staff, so do expect to wait. Im sure theyre unable to predict when theyre going to be busy or not, overall nice and clean and great for photos!

Overall the experience is good and they have nice pop ups (as their name would suggest). You will go for the pop up and not for the food. I got an Oreo ice cream which looks great for an Instagram pic but tastes terrible. The ice cream is not creamy and the Oreos were stale. I only had a few bites. The same was true for the ice cream my friend got.Bottom line for the price especially I expect at the very least the basics to be good.

The owners response made me feel better knowing what was happening. I really LOVE this place and will be back here at least 10 times during this harry potter event. Granted, My girl and I started visiting food street right as the pandemic was hitting in February of 2020. Next thing you know...everything is closed. Thats besides the point. As an avid fan of Attack on Titan it came to my attention that there was a Wall Rose Event based on the Anime.....EXCUSE ME!!! HOW DID I NOT KNOW OF THIS!!!!...anyway...be sure to check in on the website and sign up for the virtual line right at noon...I signed up around 12:30 noon and was number 276th in line...it directions will tell you to go and enjoy your day since its still a long time before you turn...be sure to add how many people will be in your party...it was just two for me....once your turn is getting close a text will inform you to confirm you will be arriving and it will give you a one hour grace period. Reply 1 to confirm and make your way to the shop...once you check in at the door you will be given the amount of wrist bands you selected when you signed up for the virtual line...then you will get in line and wait for your turn...IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A WRIST BAND THEY WILL TELL YOU TO GET OUT OF THE LINE...I think some people were reaching the front of the line and waiting for the person with the confirmation text to arrive...when they got up to the front they wouldnt get in because they didnt check in and get wrist bands...its really easy just read the directions on the sign up screen on the cell phone that you signed up on...staff will come out and tell the line that if they do not have their wristbands before checking in they will not be let in and will have to go back to the end of the line....Im okay with that...Once InsideThe décor is well inspired by Attack on Titan. I believe the live music is on the weekends but they still play some music. I think I heard Vantage on the audio system and some AOT mixes. Nothing to wild...on above the line there is an Eren cutout with white neon string lights to demonstrate the direction and highlight the ODM Gear and the characters direction of travel...really cool and well thought out...on the wall the have the Colossal Titan reaching in at an angle towards a mannequin dressed in Survey Corps Uniform (correct me if Im wrong)...the menu is based on items and themes from the anime...I got myself an Eldian Royal Blood beverage and my girl got the Sparkling Titan Serum (Strawberry) and we shared a Colossal Waffle...we also wanted to buy some shirts but they were all out of stock of most merch...I also wanted to buy the Wings of Freedom LED light up but they were also out...I did buy a Levi Plush they put out as I was paying for my items...they had a Colossal Titan Plush that someone snagged up before I reached the front of the line...I also bought a Levi LED light up....Ill write more later

Let me first start by saying that the desserts here are actually really good. They are priced right on the cusp of being overpriced, but the good flavor makes it worth it. The pros are the energetic and pleasant staff, the delicious items on the menu, the frequently changing themed vibe, and the kind of like minded customers that you will meet here. All great things you would want at a pop up themed dessert bar. The main con would be that the place is kind of small, so it gets absolutely swarmed with people. Many times you will find a line outside of people waiting to get in. That is kind of expected, but this 100 degree weather doesnt make it any easier to deal with. Once inside, dont expect any seating, cause its very limited. This is very much a place you go in, order your dessert, take in the sights while you wait for it to be ready, and then roll out once your order number is called. That being said, I still definitely recommend this place for the quick experience.

I know its supposed to be more of a popsicle dessert bar but I prefer the flurry ice creams. Its a good idea that the order could be customized using their custom card and marker too. The first time we visited before the COVID19 pandemic, they offered free melon infused water but the last time we went, it was no longer available. I hope they could still offer that soon. I also saw that they would be featuring Blackpink special menu items.

Staff was very friendly, loved the theme of this month, and the treats were so delicious. I brought a friend who isnt a fan of anime (the theme of the restaurant at the time) and she was surprised by how well decorated it was.

Cutest little place with amazing options to choose from as well as to make your own from! I made my own swirl cup vanilla b mixed berries mixed into the vanilla with a taro drizzle and edible rose on top. My sister has the oreo swirl and my sisters husband has the toasted marshmallow. The berry one was a bit over powering, the toasted one was quite the opposite didnt taste like much but for your first time I would suggest the oreo swirl. Absolutely amazing taste especially with the caramel. The pink straws on the side of our ice creams is a cookie straw with strawberry frosting inside. The drink I got is the wild berry lemonade, you can also get it as a tea instead of a lemonade. Over all my experience was great, service A+, they brought the ice creams to us and waited patiently for us to decide. Definitely will be telling my friends about this!

Good popsicles, really nice decor and very instagrammable! My first time at popfancy and while they were out of the flavor I was looking for, even my second choice was quite refreshing with all the toppings.

My friends and I attended the Temple of the Guardians event, and it was great! The atmosphere and desserts were fantastic! The only issue is their space, its very small. We found it very hard to take time to enjoy everything because it was so cramped. The seating is also extremely limited and we got very lucky to have gotten a table. I do recommend Popfancy and they have fantastic desserts and events, but they really need a bigger space.

Dont bother coming if you dont have a reservation. They say they welcome walk-ins but the lady at the door said they will not allow walk-ins in until the reservation line is empty. Reservation line never empties so you will wait hours to no avail. I visited from out of town and waited 2 hours and not a single walk-in was allowed in. Popfancy should not advertise walk-ins. 0/5 stars.

BEFORE YOU PAY FOR A RESERVATION READ THIS! you’ll be standing in a long line (about an hour) even after paying for a reservation. they really should limit how many ppl can make a reservation but don’t... and also they ran out of a lot of items by the time we did get in. staff is super nice but i personally don’t think it was worth it.

This place is SO cute and well maintained; I went during the very popular Attack on Titan fancafe and was super pleased with everything. They have a good waitlist system, though we were low enough down that we ended up just going in the last hour when the waitlist closes. The quality of the dessert was great! Totally worth the drive from SA to see what they had to offer.

Came here during a cupsleeve event and REALLY enjoyed my time. The staff was energetic and friendly and our order as made quickly, this lemonade was incredible! Will definitely be back to try their regular menu soon.

This place was really fun. The guy at the register was very charismatic and honest about the flavors. I had the smore one, my wife had the cereal monster, and my mom had the passion fruit pop. We all left super happy with our choices and my mom totally loved the pop and made us take pictures with the awesome neon signs in the store. Lol

A really nice and interesting place to hang out with friends. I dont normally like sweet things, but I can say that this place was worth it even though their lines can sometimes get too long especially with the different kind of themed events they have such as music groups or like famous shows. I would recommend to try out their raspberry cheesecake or if not their hot mochi waffle pops 10/10 and its for a good decent price.

Instagram / social media worthy dessert. The menu is extensive (for me personally I felt sick to the stomach), but for the kiddos they absolutely loved it. My daughter loved the unicorn inspired pop. My son ordered the waffle but ended up wanting the pop too. Because it was really big I let them share. I tried a bit and I like the Taro and the ice cream was very strawberrish and while it does look like a sugar overdose, it wasnt that sweet 🙃. They have boba tea inspired drink as well where they put a pop inside of it (again not my cup of boba but maybe for those that would like to post).Overall, I see why people like it and for me personally if you are looking for something more unique than your regular ice cream / pop store, I would say give this one a try.

I have been thinking about my poor experience from the sailor moon pop-up and really considered whether to leave a review or not, because while I loved the theme of the event, I did not enjoy the store or the service.I will preface this by saying I have worked in the food industry and am familiar with cakes that are bought frozen and shipped to cafes and restaurants just like this one. Every single cake item on their menu was a cheap, frozen, pre-bought product sloppily thrown onto a plate.I ordered a strawberry parfait because I instantly recognized almost all of the cake product. The parfait was $7 and wasn’t even a parfait. It was a piece of strawberry CAKE with a spoonful of strawberry ICE CREAM in a drinking cup.My next issue was that the store was insanely over-crowded and absolutely filthy. The floors, walls, furniture, etc looked like it all had a layer of people grease on it. PLEASE clean your store. I understand you are ridiculously busy but I opted to sit outside on the dirty concrete rather than being stuck inside with a ton of people during a pandemic.My final issue was the merchandise for sale here. All of it was bootleg. ALL OF IT. I was actually appalled seeing all of this over-priced fake merchandise. I know because I actually own the legitimate versions of some of the fake merchandise that was sold here.I do not recommend coming here unless they have a major re-haul - which they probably won’t because all otaku fans are flocking here due to the lack of anime conventions.

COVID-19 review: Came here on a Friday night and the place was quite busy. We stood outside to provide adequate space between us and the people before us. There are no markers for 6 feet social distancing. All the tables and chairs inside can be used and given that it was a busy night, managing the whole social distancing thing was quite difficult. I did notice the employees were cleaning up after dirty tables, though.Service was great at the register, but very slow in terms of creating the desserts. By the time my sisters and I got our desserts, our cousins were already finished with theirs and they were a person in front of us!The ice cream itself is so good! They have a menu where you can choose one of their specialties or make your own. I decided to go with the cereal ice cream with fruit loops cap n crunch with taro drizzle. It was definitely a great choice and I thoroughly enjoyed it! They also have poptails where they dip their popsicle in a drink. My friend got that and raved about it.I highly recommend trying this place out if you’re in Bellaire and have a craving for something sweet!

There was quaint air here despite the music and people there. The line was pretty bad. I did enjoy it in the end. The workers had decent to great effort on their clothes which was really appreciated. Our waitress really made our day and she was pretty great. Food was decent for the price and we all liked it.

What is the point of reservations if you still have to wait in line, there was no one scanning in reservations after my girlfriend paid for it. Overcrowded and not worth waiting in line for the food. The spot is too small for the sailor moon event and assuming ever other event organized.

My friends and I drove from Dallas to check the place out and it was pretty cool! I loved the theme. The people there were very nice too! I liked the food too!

What is the point of having an RSVP if you end up having to wait in line, while there is another line with people who arent reserved? Had to wait in line for so long, and the people in the front of the line said they had reservations even earlier (claiming almost 6pm!). Its very unfortunate to see this go so poorly with something that would have been so cool to experience. Im not angry, just extremely disappointed and let down.

The Salior Moon experience was fun but I feel like if they had the pick your food at the pay station and had the pay station at the pick up your food area the flow would have been a bit easier. And had all tables outside.

We highly recommend them for your wedding! Popfancy served four popsicle flavors during our cocktail hour, and it was a huge hit! Guests couldnt stop raving about how delicious they were. Everyone wanted to take a picture in front of the cute bicycle cart too! We are so glad we made the last-minute decision to bring in Popfancy.

Second time going this week and I love it already. This will be my new place to go eat sweet treats 😋

Went for a Sailor Moon pop up with my daughters.Great food, clever ties to the theme, and very reasonably priced. Plus, the large demand was handled well.
