Needed a last minute appointment and the answering service was beyond accommodating. The staff is friendly, prompt and amazing with children. So thankful for the time they took to examine my son and did such a thorough job.

Awesome experience! From the front office staff, nurses, to Dr. Law, everyone was so kind and PATIENT with my 18 mo old son! I have had a few stressful days in and out of doctors offices and they made our visit so easy, and didn’t make me feel like a bother with a crazy toddler! Ridiculously long wait! I had an appointment at 1pm for my 3 years old nephew and I didn’t think I have to wait for over 2 and half hours. The staff kept telling us that the doctor would see us next but that didn’t happen. We left before seeing Dr. Law and I was really upset as I have had a stressful day. I was late to my class because of this and it made my day even worse. My nephew was exhausted and sleepy but they wanted us to wait more. Negative experience! I would not recommend this place to anyone that values their time.

Everyone was very nice. Doctor Law was very good and patient with my three month old. I made an appointment for my 13 year old and plan on going to Houston Eye Associates from here on out.

We set an appointment with Dr. Law for our Grandson, we wanted to find out about why he had such thick glasses. We encountered the front staff and they were very friendly, we then met with Dr Law. She was very friendly and a very sweet bedside manner. She set some tests up for our Grandson that day, the back office staff was so wonderful and patient with him. I was satisfied with what I was told and will be following up with her in eight weeks with the final results of his tests. An awesome bunch of people. Thank you

From start to finish, what a great experience. The front staff was helpful, friendly, and kind. I could tell they were smiling behind the masks! Dr. Law was professional and wonderful with my 14 month old and thorough and patient with my questions. Even checking out was great... smiles, friendly. I can not say enough. Made my pregnant wife wait 45 minutes with our 1 year old for his appointment, and then when they finally called her back, they wouldnt wait 30 seconds for her to strap him into his stroller and moved on to the next person, so she had to wait even longer. For an appointment that took all of 5 minutes for the doctor to just confirm his glasses are working. Will be finding a different optometrist.

I had a great experience when I went to my eye appointment yesterday. The 2 receptionists worked very hard getting the patients checked in and with a pleasant disposition and a great attitude. This could not have been easy since it is such a departure from there normal process. I told them on my way out what a good job they were doing. I really appreciated the way they took care of the patients. Great job!

Well... this was the easiest visit ive had in a long time and so updated with technology! I went to an eye doctor before that got upset with me because his old school machine was hard to say yes or no to the focal view... im almost certain i even got the wrong prescription done. This one was so simple and straight fwd! I looked and immediately knew what looked better and what not.. People there where super polite and helpful. Thank you!!

The best of the best! Dr. Joshua Atkinson attended to the care of my eyes! I had cataracts so terribly, I could barely see at all. This is the best eye place I have ever been to. Sometimes the wait is long, but it is so worth the wait. Dr. Thomas is a very thorough and personable doctor who seems to genuinely care about his patients. You cant put a price on that. Dr . Atkinson, whom I just met today, seems to be following in the same footsteps. To that, I say thank you and kudos.

I battled with my employer for about a month just to get the last hour of my day off to be able to attend my appointment. My appointment was at 3:20, I got there by 3:10. I was still in the office by 4:10 without being seen. Time is the most precious and valuable thing someone has to give and the Houston Eye Associates disrespected my time and therefor disrespected me. There is no excuse short of someone dying to be an hour late to an appointment. The lady asked if she could reschedule and I told her no. How can I trust them not to disrespect my time again, you get one chance to make an impression and you blew it.

I had a most wonderful experience today with Dr. Shah. She is perhaps the most caring, earnest doctor (of any specialty) Ive ever had (Im 71 so Ive seen a few). Even though I am a first time patient, her concern and care for my condition was evident and her work was completely thorough and she explained what was going on. Even more impressive, she just called me at 9pm to discuss my lab results and to let me know about follow up.Anyone should feel completely confident in Dr. Shay and furthermore, the staff couldnt be more professional. They were equally caring and thoughtful in all of my dealings.I simply cannot say enough about the professional level of care, and if I could rate 10 stars I would.

I can’t speak more highly of my experience with Houston Eye Associates. It was my first visit, and the receptionists were very prompt. My wait time was minimal. I went to Houston Eye Association today 8/5/20 the staff was very helpful and informative. They took great care of me i was in and out in under an hour. They are doing a great job with the social distancing due to COVID Pandemic. The Nurse and Dr. Fiaz Zaman was nice and very professional. Ive been going there for years and will continue to. I rate their services a 10.

The flow of this facility is great, checking in and out is seamless. Never had to wait long, Dr Price and Dr Shah are the best in my opinion, professional and caring. So far so good!!

The only suggestion I would make to enhance the process would be to have online registration to fill out the forms. The summer heat is restrictive and I do not like leaving the car running to have air conditioning. The process was VERY protective in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.

I went in for my routine eye exam. Everyone working there was kind, polite, and friendly. I never had to wait long for the different steps. It was a pleasant experience. This has been true for all the years I’ve been going there.

I had a chalazion surgery removal with Dr. Atkinson. Everything went well, he explained to me what was going to happen. I was very nervous to go through the procedure but he and his assistant made me feel comfortable and safe. They made sure I was doing okay.

Dr. Ruchi Shah is top notch and I do recommend her highly, but nothing is worth dealing with the rudeness of the office staff in the Kingwood office. It is only 7 minutes from my house, so I have endured it for over a year, but I will never go back there and if I do then I deserve their RUDE behavior. I will see Dr. Shah at the 1960 office next visit and see how that goes.

The optometrist that examined my eyes was thorough, friendly, patient, and understanding. She answered all of my questions in a very informative and understandable manner. I called to get my vision prescription updated as it had been 2 years since my last eye exam. Appointment was scheduled a week out and I took time off work to be there. When I arrived I filled out all the paperwork and waited for about 30 minutes before being taken back and spoke with a nurse. At this point she informed me that the Optometrist (Dr.Shah) I was scheduled with doesnt accept my vision insurance(Aetna Eyemed) and it would be using my medical(also Aetna). However, since its my medical and not my vision it doesnt cover getting my prescription. This all sounded off but even if true it should have been discussed at the point of scheduling not a week later when I am taking off work to be there.Even better when I called the main number to complaint I was on hold for 20 minutes and then told that the supervisor will have to call me back.Do not recommend and will be getting my vision needs met elsewhere.

I will rate it 5 because of Dr. Monica Deliganis. She is awesome! I usually have a difficult time fitting a new contact lenses but she found a perfect one for me. I have not seen any other doctor. The staff is okay. Better than few years ago.

Dr. Gonzalez is very thorough. The friendly staff always greets me withclear, concise directives. The optician is quite knowledgeable and even took the time to assist me in locating the kind of frame I wanted.

Dr. FIAZ ZAMAN is a glaucoma specialist I would recommend to anyone. He gave me hope for vision after I had been told by another Dr. that I was legally blind. God bless him.

Cypress Station Practice appears much improved from past performance of long waits and slipshod service. Dr Atkinson is a great addition to the staff.

I saw Dr Atkinson today at Cypress Station (after waiting for more than 30 minutes.)I was very disappointed that he did not see what was wrong with my right eye and sent me home with the advice to use artificial eye drops which I had been using.As soon as I got home I looked at the magnified mirror with my husband and we both saw the damage on the white part of the corner of the right eye.What should I do in this matter?I may have to postpone my trip unless I can see Dr Zamann ( my doctor for almost 20 years) or another qualified eye doctor ASAP, even if I have to travel to Holcombe Office.Madeleine Reilly

Was there today and first time- met with Dr. Verstringhe and staff over some facial trauma I experienced and found him and staff to be extremely courteous and warm- very nice experience with them. They were truly concerned and quickly handled my needs as a patient and as a person! Ive been referred to another doctor for additional help and look forward to another pleasurable experience even though it may involve resetting my nose but At least its not eye and nose surgery! My experiences are at the Optics Center (Cypress Station - near FM 1960 & I45), where I find the staff helpful and my doctor (Dr. Shah) very competent, friendly and willing to answer all questions.

Doctors are friendly and knowledgeable. The nurses and aids are okay. However be prepare to wait. Average wait time around here for me would be 1.5 to 2 hours. This office is very slow and is always overbooked. If you have somewhere to go, dont plan to be there on time.

I have glaucoma, and last time that I went to see the doctor I asked if I can get new glasses because my glasses broke more than a year, so they made read letters in order to give a new prescription, a few weeks later they send me a bill charging for the test, because my insurance doesnt pay for, I have the right to know, ahead of time how much it was going to cost otherwise I could see another way the get my prescription, because I am a student I dont have the money, they didnt tell me, when I called, I asked if they can help me in Spanish, because is my first language, they put in hold for like 30 min, then transfer me to five different numbers, none of the ladies could tell me, and were very rude, they told me to pay the day even though I explained everything,I speak English not perfectly, I am a professional, but even though you dont have a career no one deserves to be treated like that, and its not all, the supervisor told that she was going to call me back, never called back. I got my results from my MRI of my brain I have a cyst in my pituitary gland, my doctor told me to see an ophthalmologist, so I call this place to make an appointment because my vision is blurry and I am worry, and they made wait like 35 min on the phone to see about my appointment, and she told that someone is going to call me, because a balance in account and they cant give an appointment, until they talk to the doctor first, they will call they did not call me back,I told the lady that I am worry about my vision, how people can be so inhuman, that they care first about the payment, the bill that they didnt explain in the first place, I am a very responsible person, I always pay my bills, but something that didnt ask me first, they told me that I accepted that payment the first time when I signed papers over 2 years ago, how remembers what papers you sign in over two years, as a client you have the right to know your copays, your payment if the insurance doesnt cover some tests, this is unbelievable.

I love Houston Eye Associates. My daughter and mother have been going there for years.

Their place is horrible!!! The first time I came for my first check I waited for 1.5 hours. Now I am here for a follow up on my contact and guess what? Still not on time. When I got here a lady was complaining at the front desk. Apparently her appointment was at 2 pm and its now 3:18 pm and she still hasnt been seen. I completely understand being a little late but over an hour late on all appointments, is just ridiculous. If you have tons of extra time on your hands and dont mind having your time wasted, then come here, if not, run the other away. Good thing I didnt recommend this place to my dad.
