I went to this place with a laptop screen problem. The owner diagnosed the problem right away. He asked us to leave the laptop there for a couple of hours. Later he called to confirm the cost of fixing it. After I agreed, he started fixing it. I collected the laptop that evening. The work was done well. The charge was within reason for the part changed.A few days later my cell phone had a problem. We rushed to this place & the problem was sorted right away. He did not charge for this service.I am very happy that I found this place.Thank you for your service.

Went to get my gaming computer’s screen fixed, and yeah they fixed it, but ruined the voice input and the camera of my computer. The computer screen is not fixed the best, the screen they put looks smaller than what actually fits in the computer. And I’m guessing that they had to open the computer to put the screen in, well they didn’t close it right cause now it’s open and just hanging there( added detail: someone accidentally dropped it from the couch, but I’m pretty sure it should’ve closed properly not stay open, and the audio and camera didn’t work before it was dropped)

This company did an excellent job. We had broken a laptop screen on a business computer. They had it fixed in less than one hour on a Saturday eve. Great service.

Ive had several computers repaired at this business. All work has been excellent and on time. These guys are honest and good at what they do. I highly recommend them.

I called on Sept. 8th at 6:54pm to see if this company provided a specific service. I could barely understand the man due to his heavy indian accent and his short responses that lacked detail, as he was barely attempting to answer my questions. He seemed to be annoyed with having to explain what services he could possibly provide and if those services were even in alignment with what I needed for my situation. Even after explaining that I was getting quotes/researching services only at this point, he continually spoke to me in a demeaning manor, didnt answer my questions and continually tried to convince me to go into the store to have him look at my computer for $200. I explained that wasnt going to bring my computer into their store w/out understanding what services they provided. Still confused, I asked him what training he had and what his experience/credentials were (to hopefully better understand his capabilities.) He began to laugh at me and then stated, you said you werent computer savvy and youre trying to ask me what my training is? I accused him of being rude and unprofessional he told me that I can take my computer elsewhere. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional behavior. I called back twice, to get the mans name and to speak to the manager but no one answered. To think that a person will invest in your services after youve just demeaned them, is pure insane behavior. Customers, please dont condone this behavior and please dont support this businesss practices. Houston needs respectful and ethical business owners.

Awesome establishment. Sam is always so friendly and honest. Ive been here twice and they replaced my screen within 2 hours both times. Not only do they fix it, but they are quick! I will be back for any phone/cpu needs. :)

I came here to get a new power supply for my desktop. Within a few days they replaced it. I came to the shop and the computer guy wasnt there, but the cell phone repair tech was. I had asked him to boot up the computer. The guy was moving soo slow. SLOTHS ARE FASTER THAN HIM, he wasted so much of my time. I didnt want to deal with him so I came the next day to see the computer repair tech. He explained that they replaced my old power supply, with the OEM unit, and he gave ME my old power supply back too. When I got home it took the computer 3-5 times to boot up. I thought it was just a new power supply thing. Its been OVER THREE weeks since, and I have a recurring issue everyday. I dont believe they put a new power supply, and I WONT BE RETURNING TO THIS PLACE.

Response:I have used your services multiple times and have receipts to prove it. No one here is intentional out to hurt small businesses. If anything, the idea is to support small businesses. The purpose of reviews is to provide feedback to help others. I’ve had a negative experience with your business, it’s simple as that. FYI I use Yelp in most cases and if I feel I want to share my experience further I use Google Review in rare occasions, that doesn’t make my review fake. If I use Google to share bad experiences, so be it. Again, just because you don’t like my review, it doesn’t mean it’s fake. I love how businesses use that as an excuse for poor service that is being called out. My laptop would not boot. Turns out I had a bad memory stick. It was about $100 parts and labor. Which seems fair as they had to troubleshoot and they included a cleaning of the laptop. And it was done in a day.

My computer died, was not even able to boot it. Went to Best Buy Geek Squad, they wanted to charge me $99 and it would take up to 10 days to get it diagnosed. They dont seem to understand that some people need their computers get fixed asap, cause they need it to work and make money.I googled and Houston Computer Geeks popped up and boy am I glad I stopped there.I entered their store 30 min before close, it took them 15 min!!!!!!!!!!!! to get it diagnosed (compared to 10 days at Geek Squad), they kept it over night and brought it back to my house the next day afternoon. Connected all my devices, checked if everything was working properly and also let me check it.They did not even try to sell me anything, I thought I would need a new video card or something, but no.They charged me a very reasonable price.I learned my lesson... Stay away from corporate owned businesses as far as you can and support your local computer repair shop.They care about their customers.Excellent experience, will recommend them to all my friends.Thx guys

Got my MSI Gaming laptop repaired from the dead. Took a week due to ordering replacement chip but laptop is working again.

I took my laptop to Frys electronics they asked me $75 for diagnosis. I left and found Computer Geeks on my phone and they took care of my laptop with in 2 hour and only charged me $59.00. my problem got resolved. They explained me everything in detail. 5 Stars for them.

Took my custom desktop for a repair. Held my desktop for about a month. Never called to give me a status update or any information, I had to call multiple times. Told me Id be given a call back but was never called. After a month I called and they just said they couldnt fix it and told me to pick it up. No further guidance. Took it somewhere else and had it fixed in hours.

Ive known Sam, the owner for about 6 years, since they first opened and hes always taken perfect care of any issues I have with my computers and has the lowest prices. Make sure that you negotiate the price. Whatever price they give you, is going to be wildly exaggerated. In addition, they initially tried to sell me a refurbished MacBook instead of fix my computer. They threw on services that I did not ask for w/o my permission, so the final price was high. Because the receipt I was given was not itemized, they were able to charge me for other things aside from the one thing I asked for them to fix. When I returned to ask for a refund for the services I was given that I didnt ask for or want, they treated me very rudely and told me that I was trying to cheat them.
