Soooo delicious! We had a mix of sweet and savory, both were spectacular! The jalapeno, sausage, egg, and cheese definitely had a kick but the strawberry cream was a perfect chaser! The chorizo and egg special was a perfect amount of spice! The drive through line was super long but the walk up only had a couple patrons. Order ahead and you can just run in, grab and go!

The service at this is well above a 5-star rating. The food is always great. The excellent service takes away a bit of the sting of the price. During the weekday Tues.-Thurs after 11:30 am all kolaches are half price. They are closed on Mondays

My boyfriend and I come here on Sunday mornings. Still one of the best kolache shops in Houston. It seems like they really care about the way they cook their food + treat their clients. 100% a go to in the heights.

I really wanted to like this place. I dont know if I can visit again after today (7:00 am). Kolaches were stone cold, and the drive-through took over 25 minutes. The girl with the dark hair and long pointy gross fingernails who took my payment at the window had a very smug attitude when I requested napkins. Maybe y’all should have a look at Chick-fil-A‘s training module. Or, if you hate taking orders so much, look at how Velvet Taco takes their drive-thru orders. Also, maybe consider a cross-contamination class for the staff. It wasnt very pleasant to see the male barista, wearing gloves touching his face and mask. Why wear masks if you’re just going to be gross about it?

Small little shop on the heights, but some of the best kolaches Ive ever had. The bread is so soft and fluffy, its irresistible. The lemon and cream are my favorite sweet, but the potato egg and cheese rivals the best breakfast taco. Its a struggle to decide what to do for breakfast.

One of the best kolaches shop in all of Houston area, my favorite! I love these kolaches so much that I had them catered the morning of my wedding day for bridesmaid and I as we get ready to get our makeup and hair done. They were able to deliver to me at the time I needed which was early like 6am even tho they werent open till 7am! and on a rainy morning to boot, they were right on time!

These are THE best Kolaches and Kolbasniks Ive had in the greater Houston area. They are stuffed full of fillings & have a good selection of flavors including modern and traditional. The seasonal pumpkin spice latte is absolutely delicious and absolutely better than that big chain place that also does them. The service is friendly.

This place is the best kolache spot in the Heights. They have a huge selection + some sweet pastries and they’re coffee is incredible. The staff is always super kind and friendly. Also the drive thru is very convenient.

Knocked off a star for the pricing. $3 for a small iced tea is *absurd*. However, the kolaches are solid - its the first place Ive seen that offers venison sausage, which Im totally here for. Slightly sweet, soft pastry and more cheese than most places put in if thats your jam. Service was quick and the food was tasty and warm, cant ask for much more than that.

The kolache are kept room temperature and microwaved if you want them heated up, a restaurant should be doing better than thatDo not confuse this place with the original kolache shoppe on telephone near park place you will be very disappointed in flavor texture and freshness

Best kolaches in Houston hands down. Probably best in Texas. There’s usually a line during weekends and get there early if you want specific menu items before they sell out, but definitely worth the wait

I never knew what a Kolache was until my friend took me there to try for myself and boy this stuff is incredible. Its a polish bread roll with filling in it and it tastes awesome for one reason, the bread! I love bread in general but this is a step above from what Im used to. There are so many different fillings you can choose from, veg, non veg, and dessert. Their most popular is the desert kolace with a Nutella filling. I havent tried it personally because it was sold out at the time, just a testament to how popular it is. Everyone there is super friendly and service is on point. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to try!

One of my favorite kolache places in town. Never disappointed in any of their selections. The nutella kolache is one of my favorites as well as the brisket, cheese & jalapeño kolache. Their coffee is great as well. The drive thru is quick if you’re unable to find parking in the lot.

Very courteous staff! I did enjoy the chorizo kolache and my spouse enjoyed the “Pinkerton’s” kolache although both were lightly filled. But the sausage kolache & cream cheese were inedible. I wasn’t sure if they were cooked well enough but the flavor was completely off.

Kolache Shoppe has the best kolaches in Houston. You have to get to the Czech communities in other parts of the state and region to find better kolaches. The coffee is Boomtown, which is generally ok. I prefer dark roast coffee, and they only had a medium roast Costa Rican blend. It was fine, but not my favorite by any means. The kolaches were excellent. Lemon creme, strawberry, and all the sausage varieties.This Heights location is crazy busy, and they do a really nice job of keep the traffic flowing. The inside seating is limited and tight. The pace of the place is busy, not an ideal place to sit and work, which is fine, you just have to know that before going there thinking you’re going to get some work or reading done. The staff here is amazingly good. Restrooms are really clean as well.

The staff here is fast, efficient, and friendly.Theres a limit on how many people can be inside at once, and its a small shop, so they have an employee directing people to come in and where to wait if its for an online/pickup order.The food is always great. I love the kielbasa and jalapeno, but cant have sausage right now ): so had the ranchero yesterday, and it was wonderful. My partner had the kielbasa and jalapeno, and he was impressed. We split the brisket and jalapeno, and the only complaint we had was that the inside wasnt mixed very well in that one as all the jalapeno was in one spot. Hardly worth losing a star over. Finally, the Thai cold brew was strong! And good. :)Well be back, for sure!

Came in for the grand opening! What a seriously beautiful little shop. I tried the meat filled kolaches - the ranchero, venison, and brisket - all with jalapenos of course. The kolaches were so good and the venison one was spot on. Ive tried their fruit filled kolaches, so I knew the others would be good. I will most definitely have to be back when I get the chance, or even visit the original shop.

Drive through here is clutch (as long as you get there at a reasonable hour!) My husband and I go every Friday and get the sausage, egg, cheese and jalapeno and cold brew. Needless to say, if you havent tried it yet, you are missing out!

Come hungry because these are huge kolaches and you will want to eat more than one. I personally prefer the brisket filling. It gets a bit busy on the weekends so order online or come early to avoid a line. They also have a full service coffee bar.

Best kolaches in H town! Their drive thru is so convenient & moves quickly. Favorites are brisket egg & cheese, bacon egg & cheese, small sausage & cheese, & ranchero salsa egg kolaches. I plan to try some of the other flavors as well. They have a yummy vanilla oat latte as well.

Every other kolache place in Houston has better taste, cheaper prices, and better trained employees. Kolache Shoppe is not worth the hype.

First time visitor.Staff was extremely friendly & even offered suggestions for visiting and eateries.Food was great. I had the egg&potato kolache. Its a larger size roll filled with eggs/potatoes/cheese. Absolutely delicious and fairly priced. Coffee is locally sourced, so its a bit more expensive but worth it.

Very organized and safe procedure at the door. Friendly staff, wait was less than 10 minutes on a Sunday morning. Drive-thru should be given attention for safety reasons; it was backed up well into Yale and caused several traffic issues.

Anyone in the area knows this place was always an instant hit. The kolaches are excellent, with a great selection, and they also have excellent coffee. Even if you just go for the sausage variety, youll have options to choose from, and there are seasonal options as well.

I’ve been here three times so far and the experience has been decent, if not a little expensive. Unfortunately after today I will not be going back. After biting into a Kolache there was a long strand of wax paper that came out of it.

Kolache Shoppe has the best tasting kolaches among the various kolache places. I hesitate to recommend the brisket egg and cheese only because they sometimes run out and I want them all for myself, they are that good. Other favorites are the lemon cream and potato egg and cheese. The drive thru is much appreciated and they wear masks and gloves and clean the credit card reader after every customer, so you can feel safe here!

I had never had kolaches before until my manager started getting these for our morning staff meetings. She always bought them from here and ever since, I come here at least every other week. There is a lot of variety and they all taste good. You might wanna come early cause the drive-thru line is usually always very long. Excellent service and the staff is always so friendly and nice. Will be coming back every other week

I had the spinach egg and cheese and a ranchero kolache.The first one just tasted bad for some reason, the ranchero tasted exactly how you think eggs topped with pico de Gallo would taste like. I tasted like no seasoning in either of them.23$ for some disappointing kolaches, that honestly sucks. I was looking forward to trying this place but the kolaches I tried are really bland.

BEST kolaches in Houston!! So many awesome flavors, including adding jalapeño to anything you want, proving that it’s authentically Texan. If you are looking for kolaches, this is the place to go. We’ve been to their Greenway location also, which has equally delicious kolaches.The coffee is good, but not as good as a primarily-coffee shop. It’s not bad if your main focus is the kolaches.

Soooooo gooooood! I’m not a big kolache fan BUT these are the bomb, lol. Yup I said it. No seriously, I love that they have options for vegetarians. The seasoning is great. The Allstar is the bread. It’s so good. I even liked their peach kolache. My husband liked the meat options as well. We will be back 🥰 you can def tell they cook with purpose and love.Blessings!

Decent meat kolaches, I wouldn’t recommend the sweet kolaches since they taste like canned pie filling. Both are expensive for quality and size but that’s probably the location. I appreciate their coffee selection.

Excellent kolaches; the best in the heights. Both savory and sweet selections are excellent. Sausage, jalapeño, and cheese is what we get most frequently. Small sausage and cheese is a good size for kids.

Best freaking kolaches ever. I bought 2 dozen for my team at work and they flew like hot cakes.

By the time I got there they didnt have a lot of variety left, but the kolache I did try was amazing and I cant wait to go back (earlier instead of lunch time) and sample more varieties.

Stopped by on our way out of town. The drive thru had about 6 cars in front of us. The line moved quickly so dont be scared! Ordered 4 kolaches: regular sausage & cheese, etc PLUS egg, spinach & cheese, which was excellent. The spinach was the perfect texture & flavor!The coffee was the hottest coffee I have EVER had in my life!What a great stop to set the tone for our trip home. Well done!

The cinnamon rolls are phenomenal!!! Sorry you have to plan on eating a kolache AND the cinnamon roll. Drive thru is clutch. I went to the first day soft opening and wasn’t crazy about my mocha latte with coconut milk. They were taking surveys and I let them know.
