Solid pastries... you just get lost in the plethora of options. Some look better than they taste. Definitely eat them sooner than later.

Excellent place to find and satisfy your bakery cravings. As we came into the store theyre were re-stocking some of the more popular items too! This place is practicing social distancing as well. Employees were very nice and helpful. The items we got were great. The drinks are sweet and tasty as well. Parking is easy when it isnt busy. The location around this place is quite busy. But other than that, its an amazing place to grab your favorite sweets and bakery. I would definitely recommend this place!

Let me tell you one thing. This place is the best bakery place I ever tasted in my life! It is that good. We came back a second time to bring it back home to share with family. I can go on and on about this place you just have to come in and experience it for yourself!

Bought red velvet cake for a birthday. Cake was labeled “red velvet”. Doesn’t look or taste like red velvet at all. Would have been fine if this was good, but it was very oridnary. Very disappointed. I would go somewhere else next time.

The rudest cashier I’ve ever seen. She told me I should wait there. I am thinking how to get there because so many people block the way. She even stop her current cashier work and keep driving me away. I was unable to find a way to move to that position she pointed to me. She can’t wait for a second to let me move and keep pushing me. This place deserves decent staff. Don’t let her ruin this place.

Love it. However, best time to visit is weekday afternoons when everyone is at work. Their elote bun, spinach/kale, milk bun, and strawberry vanilla cake are my favorite. Even their freshly baked milk bread is delicious.

This a great Asian bakery! Something that makes it special is that it is truly an Asian concept. All over China these bakeries are something similar to our Starbucks in the frequency they are found. This is a casual place, great for families or coffee dates. Lots of unique breads and cakes! If your into experiencing Chinese pastries then this is your place!

Id give more stars if I could. The bakery is always fresh. Prices are always reasonable. The taste is amazing. The atmosphere is friendly. The staff is excellent and crazy diverse and work in excellence. By far my favorite bakery in Houston. The only thing I would change is maybe adding a little music in the bakery for atmosphere. My wife and I frequently come by here when we are able to and I recommend it. If you have time stop by the Bellaire shop, it is their flagship location.

I wish we have 85C Bakery Cafe in San Antonio.The place is trendy, bright and welcoming. As soon as you walk in this place, your appetite will be stimulated by the warm aroma of mixed of cream, cheese, eggs and butter!I came in after lunch, but I still bought a shopping tray of dessert and bread. And ate half of them before I left.All their items are about a half as sweet as regular bakery’s, all are fluffy and airy. I can’t describe the satisfaction when I ate the egg tart and babo drink.Oh, they will ask you how much of sweetness do you want in your drink. Those are great options for consumers who are watching out their sugar intake.

So I’ve been here twice and loved it so far! I’ve been fortunate to come early enough to beat the crowds... apparently it gets pretty busy towards 4 ish/rush hour times/weekends/and holidays like spring break. Plenty to choose from and fresh baked! Loved everything so far (except the pork bun...it’s a sort of dried pork dust coating on bread). You don’t have to be bashful about buying a lot because everyone else is doing it! They also sell cakes and coffees/teas as well. Well worth a visit but come by early and maybe during the week. I went on Tuesday around 1-2 and it wasn’t too busy.

Really great bakery! The food is always super fresh, and I see the workers constantly adding the freshly baked goods to display. I love their egg tarts and sweet breads. The customer service is quick and accommodating. Overall, really great place in Chinatown!

So I grabbed brunch here with my girl. The sweet breads were good. Things with cream cheese seemed a bit off though and I cannot put a finger on why. The savoury foods like Hawaiian chicken and spicy sausage I need to give some warnings.First the chicken is good but warm it up first. Think Hawaiian pizza but with chicken and thats what you are getting. The spicy sausage...that needs removed from the scene. That was the grossest thing I have eaten in months. It was literally a greasy bland sausage topped with cheese and surround by a nasty cheap tobacco replica. Hot? Yeah! Tasty? Not a chance. I wouldnt feed that to a homeless dog. That should give you a clear opinion.Customer service: I feel like if there is more than 3 people in a line with more on the way and there is 5 staffers about someone should assist. Yet, no one did. So I wasnt actually impressed on this trip in this regard either. They only had 1 person restocking bread so not sure what the rest were doing talking behind the counter. Maybe they were planning for a rush or a big event...Summary: if you have a sweet tooth and not seeking donuts this seems good. If you are into savoury meats with bread I think that you should keep looking around

Visited here while visiting my girlfriends family. This place was nice and had so many pastries. I got one of their coffees and it tasted wonderful. I would recommend this place for a quick coffee, tea, or pastry.

Ive been to a different location before and I really like Asian-style bakeries like this. I dropped by here to pick up some savory bread items. Everything was delicious, and the cheesy jalapeno bread was my favorite. There were many appealing items and the service was fast and friendly. Glad I came here!

Fresh breads are made every hour. I find it funny that every time fresh bread comes out, all the employees have to yell fresh bread! in unison. Grab a tray and a grip tong and pick whatever your heart desires. Some of my favorite is the egg tart and milk cream bread. Egg tarts arent the best but I like thickness of the inside. The crust on the outside can be a bit greasy and not as crispy as it should be.Other breads are a miss or hit. They have a few interesting savory bread from the ham sandwich to the squid ink bread. Although the squid ink bread didnt quite interest me at first, it tasted pretty alright. They have a few cakes on display. Ill make a note to check it out sometimes.As youre getting in line, there would be someone to bag your pastries in the plastic bag before you check out. It makes the check-out process a lot faster. On a not so bright side, their restroom is not the cleanest. Overall, this location offers a lot more selection of their bread versus the other locations.

Never disappointed here. Anything/ everything is good. Try any of the coffee pastries and the chocolate muffin.

Go early for the best selection. My favorite is milk tea bun and milk bun. Coffee is pretty good too! I had sea salt latte since they had it as a free reward on the app, it was good! Definitely download the app to get points for rewards. They do frequent free promotion al rewards like coffee or tea.

I’m currently waiting on my drinks Mis Jasmine was on register and I don’t know if there’s a lack of knowledge on her part but it would have been nice to have some feed back when asked if she could recommend anything that was fresh Ike the mango drink that was currently not available. We love this bakery in California the people are so nice and I was expecting the same here.

I came here about 6 times already, and every time theres always a line out the door. I drove past here a few times but saw the line so I left.Ive had their lemon green tea, passion fruit green tea, peach green tea, sea salt mountain jasmine, grapefruit green tea. They were all amazing. My favorite one is the lemon green tea, the taste is fresher and the same consistency each time I ordered it. Comparing it to cafe 101 honey lemon green tea, this one is way better (also cheaper).Ive also tried plenty of breads they have. I liked each and one of them, especially the egg tart. The shell is Crisp and flaky, with just the right amount of sweetness. Another bread Ive really enjoyed (forgot the name) is the one with cream stuffing inside. When it was freshly out of the oven, warm and tender. It was so delicious!The only complaint I have is the design of the store, the bread serving area is too small, and the selection is quite small too. Most of the time that I have came, they are out and the shelves seems empty. I can kind of understand because of the high demands. Another thing I feel that is unnecessary is the long table in the middle of the store. They can easily make more money having customers coming in and out instead of that table being in the way. Most of the time I see people sitting there not eating, but waiting in line.Another thing that holds up the line is the packaging area. I think they should pack the baked goods individually before putting it on the shelves.Overall, a great place for bread, and all around the same price as other bakery stores around Houston. I can see that this store might make other small businesses close if they are always in high demand.

Dont let the lines bother you (theres literally been a line every day since their grand opening); itll move fairly fast. Plenty of oh-so-yummy goodies there (premium milk buns, Portuguese eggtarts, milk pudding buns, salted caramel coffee, etc). The place is very clean, organized, staff friendly, and structured in a way to get you in and out quick.

Its nice very clean place with excellent cakes breads and other bakeries. The price is reasonable.

I was so excited to finally try this place out !!! The pastries and bread were all so yummy and fresh, my family basically devoured everything I bought within a day! I also tried their strawberries and cream drink and it was heavenly! I’m waiting for the Katy location to open back up soon, so I can enjoy more of this place !

There is a very large selection of pastries, and its cool that they also serve boba and other drinks here. That being said, this place did not live up to the hype. The few pastries I tried were decent, but nothing to write home about. This is the first bakery in Houston like this, but there are many other smaller bakeries that are just as good.

Love their bakery , staff was friendly and knew I needed help. Helped me boxed them up, and brought them out. Awesome staff.

Its always super crowded, but the macarons are truly pretty patties. And don’t forget the egg tarts, they’re like tasting heaven on your tongue! The drinks could be better, though. The interior is stylish and clean and the service is fine. I love that there’s many options to choose from.

I go here everytime I visit Houston. It’s a great place to grab a good bread and dessert. Even savory or sweet. Staffs are nice and the place is spotless. Always full of options. Love love love their mango pudding and fruit jelly.

If you think this bakery is good, then you probably haven’t been to the Six Ping Bakery right across the street, where the price are much cheaper and the quality remains the same. Here while the quality is great, the price is just too much.

First time in and my family loves the baked goods. Now we are very sad because we live in willis tx and just down visiting. Will he back next time were in town.

I’ve been to many of these in California, so I was happy to see one here. For the most part, it did not disappoint. I had several breads and pastries and a boba milk tea. The bakery products were good and they even had one I hadn’t had before, which was tasty. The boba was a bit too sweet for me. They do adjust it and you can ask for it to be less sweet, which is what I’ll do next time. Bellaire as a whole is of course very crowded, so I’m hoping one of these open closer to home for me.

I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. Mostly good experience but one of the bakery items I tried was tad bit dry. It won’t hold me from going back or taking my friends. Selection on boba is not as extensive but whatever they have on the menu tastes great. Plain milk tea and rose milk are my fave!

If you love variety, this is the bakery to go to in the area. There is a huge variety of baked goods, coffees, and bubble teas here. This place is BUSY, so fresh baked goods are constantly coming out.The layout is huge so there is tons of space for however many people you want to bring, and each baked good feels heavy and filling. The egg tarts are melt in your mouth good, and the taro filled pastries.had a strong hint of butter that left me satiated for hours.The only negative is that many staples that youd think of for a Chinese bakery are not present, such as BBQ pork buns, or curry puff pastries (or at least not for the hours that my group was there for)./, But what they do have is outstanding!

If you have not yet been to this place, you are missing out! Welcome to coffee & pastry PARADISE. These people know their stuff. My coffee was made perfectly, and wow was it strong! (No extra shot needed) The pastries are to die for! I purchased a croissant with ham and cheese, the flavor was incredible. I also purchased a chocolate bundt cake and lemon mini cakes to bring home. The cake was extra fluffy, absolutely delicious and totally addicting. Best coffee shop in Bellaire, absolute gem!

You can hear them yell it every time they have a fresh batch.The calamari bread is so good, that alone makes me want to come back again.We also had the bacon cheese, mango and the fruit tart cup.A must go to place in bellaire!

I came to there 3 in a week and they didnt make the pork sung bun. I asked their employees and the girl said the pork bun are very popular, they usually have it in the morning. The next the day I came back in the morning and I still not see it ! They usually make it a lot Every time in one day, but now a lot of bread are not make more anymore. And my drink doesnt taste right, I asked for light ice, but they didnt put any sugar on my drink. Sadly!

We havent tried every thing we bought yet, but so far so good. Stumbled across this place after eating at Uyghur Bistro. It just opened so wait was long, but atmosphere was energetic and bakery was clean and welcoming.

Okay bakery with over priced cake slices that dont have the level of sophistication . Plain cream and fluffy cakes. Drinks are sugary watery and over priced. Starbucks needs to look out as these guys are beating you in prices

As a first timer at this place I wanted to try some thing generic. I got the tiramisu since I consider myself a tiramisu connoisseur. I also ordered a coffee to pair the slice of tiramisu with. I was highly disappointed in the tiramisu; the bread was so dry, it had a thick layer of mascarpone which was unevenly blended, and there was zero taste of rum ( great tiramisu should have a hint of rum. I would not recommend the tiramisu at this place. I rated 2 starts because the coffee was the only good thing here. I will probably go somewhere else next time.

I went at 5 p.m. on Saturday & amazingly no wait! The egg custard are of the charts! The crust tastes likes a croissant. The mango creme brulee was ok, the filling is not my taste. Spicy chicken bread, iced sea salt caramel latte, almond half moon, & cinnamon roll were delicious. Hawaii chicken, chocolate sponge cake, & caramel danish were alright. Expensive too but nice for a little treat every once in a while. I wouldnt wait 2 hours for their items either IMO.

First time here. They have a good selection of baked treats, breads and pastries. They also severe lattes, coffee, tea and other drinks. Most items are self serve, you get a tray and tongs and pick-up your items then head to the resister where you can pay and pickup other items like cake behind the case. I picked up some treats for my daughter for Valentines Day 😘. I got her a slice of Red velvet cake and a cinnamon twist. The cake was good but nothing amazing

One of my friends bought this cake for my Birthday last week from this bakery and might I say it’s the best cake I have ever tasted! This cake was very spongy yet moist, you could really taste the Tiramisu flavor. There was no cake let over what so ever. I will be trying this bakery again in the future.

This place is amazing! I wanted to try everything on their menu but of course that is impossible, so I hope to come back. The crepe cakes are out of this world, they also have a matcha cheesecake which sounds amazing. I had a matcha lavender latte, which was very good. The decor on the walls and sets a friendly, happy vibe.

What kind of Espresso bun??.. I love coffee, and this bakery overall is good place.. but the espresso bun... Ill give a zero if I can.. Im not sure what so hype about the super plain sweet bun called espresso with no taste of coffee other than a little bit on the bottom edges.... the Matcha bun tho is surprisingly great..

3.5 Stars. Been many 85C bakery around the country, this one is just as good as expected, but the baked good is not special comparing to smaller Japanese bakeries.

Hands down one of the best tiramisu I’ve had in awhile only issue is there a lot of powder on to do it really messy but other than that it’s super excellent! The Carmel Coffee Smoothie...to die for! Great service as well!

This is a great place to come satisfy your sweet tooth cravings. They have all sorts of sweet bread. The people here are nice. I had a chocolate cupcake with some stuffing inside the dough is made fresh by hand. I would recommend this place to anyone.

First time here and prices are surprisingly affordable. Ordered a Macchiato that would give Starbucks a run for their $$. Dine out only, so u know they are keeping with City Ordnance. Place was immaculate clean. The Lemon Mini Cakes is an Experience Of its own. Would have given 5 stars but workers were with a -meh attitude. Coffee Cake Brûlée Was so satisfying to see with perfect symmetry of strawberry’s and chocolate shavings topping. Wow!!

We had the pleasure of eating pastries from this cafe in Taiwan and was pleasantly surprised to see one in Houston in the Sterling Shopping Mall. Clean and meticulous and pleasantly surprised when their were other than Asian employees working behind the cashiers counter. Friendly service.
