Loved how they worked with me, but now since I have experienced major car problems, they are not as helpful. Most car places would provide loaner vehicles to their customers. I have only had the vehicle 2 months and the engine went out on it. While it is in the shop and the warranty will cover the repairs, I have to figure out transportation for me and my daughter. I would be nice if they were a little more efficient with problem vehicles especially since i did get the are from them and I am fresh in the loans still.

I wish I could give ZERO stars. DONT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. PLEASE. They talk a great game and are super friendly but once you leave, forget it. And their warranty company Silver Rock...THE WORST. I bought an SUV from them. GMC Acadia. It had issues with the transmission. It was totally downhill from there. They will say take your vehicle to a certified mechanic in their network and it will be taken care of. Couldnt be farther from the truth. Long story short, 3 mechanics later and 2 horrible transmissions botched and I have a repo now. 1st mechanic stole the one sent to them and replaced it with a faulty one. Spoke to Drive Time and they informed us to contact the warranty company they used. I was a complete disaster. Who would align themselves with such a horrible warranty company and then suggest you get the warranty from them?!? Silver Rock and Drive Time are con artist, preying on those who are in a financial bind and just need a vehicle. If you need a used vehicle, shop around, ask questions, but DONT SHOP DRIVE TIME!!!

This company will not be surviving much longer because they BASE THEIR APPROVAL ON ILLEGAL MEANS OF DISCRIMINATION. They blatantly told me that supplemental employers and income such as Uber are not deemed viable income sources. I am also a real estate agent and because each of my deposits are from a different title company or “business name” they cannot accept those either. Additionally, even as a self employed realtor, they refuse to accept two years of tax returns and two years of 1099s. What law abiding business operates like this? Since when does a company retain the right to tell you your income sources as a self employed person is not viable even after submitting bank statements of over 3 months? I dealt with representative Kema at this location and she told me repeatedly and plainly that Uber and Real estate/title company deposits are not acceptable proof of income. Talk about discrimination upon work classification. Someone will sue this company eventually. Also, they LIE ABOUT DOWNPAYMENT AMOUNTS. ITS A BAIT AND SWITCH TACTIC. Buyers BEWARE.

Honestly, i didn’t think i would be going through the whole process of getting another vehicle. But, fate led me to DriveTime. Oscar Salazar made my car buying experience a very Great one! From, the information, to the test drive and till i actually signed away my life to making the commitment to purchasing my 2013 Toyota Camry SE. i was absolutely overwhelmed by my situation but Oscar made it easy and cool and got me in the Car i eventually choose.

Ok! So if someone at a fast food chain making maybe 10 bucks a hour walks in Drivetime with pay stubs gets a car approved but the Uber driver that’s makes 2,000 a week won’t get the time of the day because it’s Uber? If that’s not discrimination at it best. A Uber driver is self employed and works for his self so I guess everyone should work for some franchise or Corporations to buy a car these days. On top of that I’m renting a car at 280 per week which shows monthly payments can be made if I paying over 1,000 to rent a car.. I’m lost drive time and any other dealerships out there that won’t acknowledge the income of Uber.

Do NOT waste your time if you work for yourself as a realtor or other contractor. They do not accept any proof of 1099 income. Trash business practices here.

If I could give Khadejah Williams a million starts I would! She was fantastic with helping us. We came in looking at one car but unfortunately could not afford the down payment so she did everything she possibly could to help us to find a car that we loved and we could take home the same day! She went above and beyond when it came to her customer service! I would recommend her to anyone any day!

So, I received an online quote of 395 down. As you can see from the small print, with this down payment and a vehicle at 16K, I should pay $400+ monthly. HOWEVER, when I sat down with them and showed them the vehicle I found (which was also 16K) I was told that the downpayment was more for that. I would not have wasted time and gas going there if I knew that the downpayment of $395 would have only given me 4 vehicles with high mileage to choose from.

Mr. Terence Shaw has outstanding customer service and is able to make you feel comfortable while purchasing a vehicle. I was skeptical about buying a new car but he ensured me that I would be able to find my dream car at a price that would be affordable to me and indeed I did. Thank you again.

Okay so I went into DriveTime very anxious and honestly feeling defeated. Even though I’d gotten an approval I was extremely nervous about what the down payment would be and if I’d actually get a car but, Khadejah Williams was awesome, efficient and extremely helpful. I was there waiting to see a different salesperson and she saw me waiting and stopped to helped me and ended up doing the whole process. I got a car. A nice one too and the down payment was exactly what I was told it would be. I’m so happy and grateful that she helped me. She’s an asset.

My experience yesterday was great! We walked in and was immediately greeted by Ralon who quickly got us seated and started. I preapproved myself online and already picked out which vehicle I wanted online which I believe helped my process go smoothly. I had a previous (well several) bad experiences car shopping and was a bit nervous. Im not one to settle. I want what I want or nothing at all and Ralon clearly understood that and never once tried to pressure me into anything I didnt want. I was approved so quick for what I wanted and we were official in probably an hour or less. The only thing that took a little time was getting insurance but he sat and helped me find a price that I was comfortable with (since prices were inflated because of my age - 27). I was still extremely grateful and satisfied with my visit. Trenace (the manager) was great as well. I was just about to start getting discouraged in my shopping process and was immediately eased here. 10/10 totally recommend!

I did bring pay stubs and proof of residence, Mr. Owner of Drive-Time. On another note, there is no need to base down payment on vehicle mileage. I applied for a car online and did not get the amount of the down payment. I went to the dealer, looked at the vehicle, but when test driving it, there was a weird noise, so I decided to look at something else. The salesman showed me a SUV with high miles which I drove. I liked it, but I thought about the miles and asked him if he could show me something else. He came across a vehicle on the list, but when I told him how much money I counted on for a down payment, he said that the down payment for that particular vehicle was about $2000. I asked why more and he said that because it had fewer miles. I did not have that kind of money, so I said I was going to shop around at other dealerships. The day after, I drove to a Toyota dealer in North Houston and was shown a Nissan SUV with 40,000 miles on whose price was close to $14,000, which was less than the price for the SUV with high miles at Drive-Time. I told the salesman how much down payment I had. I applied for credit and was approved with less than $1,500 down payment for a vehicle with 80,000 fewer miles than the one shown to me at Drive-Time. I understand that each car company is different, but after buying a vehicle the way I did at another dealer, I would not recommend Drive-Time to anybody.

I got a car from them , my engine was bad I only had it for 10 days , it is currently in the shop , I have been without my car for 3 weeks . Their warranty people take forever to get the claim situated , then they’re cheap with getting another engine , . The rental car reimbursement does not help the situation at hand given i was stuck in Victoria tx when I live in houston Texas for over a week & had to pay for hotel rooms so me & my kids weren’t in the streets . They want their payments on time though 😂 I’m so fed up . This was the worst car experience I’ve ever had !!!! Definitely will never purchase from them again .

Do not waste your time at this dealership it is a joke they tell you on you only need three little documents and then when you get all the way here then they want a bunch of other things that they didnt tell you before that. I drove an hour and a half to get here only for them to tell me I needed all these other documents that I could have brought with me. They didnt mention I needed any of that until I got here. I dont appreciate my time being wasted
