Ive purchased 3 different cabinet orders as I remodeled my house. First for the kitchen. I was very pleased with the cabinets, the design and the service. These were stained wood cabinets and they look great. I then ordered a grey shaker style cabinet for the master bath and I was equally impressed. When I was ready to do the upstairs bathroom, I ordered the same grey cabinets which Alex just delivered. I would recommend them if you are looking for a nice cabinet at a good price.

I would have given ZERO stars if it was possible. We went with Premium Cabinets due to the low cost, quality of cabinets, and the great reviews and ratings. We are now 6 months from initially ordering our cabinets and still have an incomplete kitchen (the COVID pandemic had no impact on the delay, weve been dealing with this since way before). They ordered incorrect cabinets, did not order all the necessary finishing pieces, and incorrect inserts. AND THEY BLAME US FOR IT! The owner, Alex, refuses to acknowledge their errors, telling us that we provided the incorrect measurements (they never came out and measured at any point, even after the first incorrect order). Theyve even stated that we should have to pay for the reorder of the cabinets and that they helped us out by reordering the product they should have ordered in the first place. They left the incorrect cabinets that werent installed in the middle of my dining room for several weeks until we had to ask them to come pick them up and the garbage they left behind from the packaging.And please be aware that Alex also has his own installation company on the side which was misrepresented to us as part of the cabinet company itself. This installer appears to be someone he subcontracts to. The installer asked us to use OUR saw to make his cuts and left the sawdust and cut wood pieces on the ground for us to clean up.My cabinets are beautiful but I have never come up against such horrible customer service. I wish I could post the email thread between myself and Alex so everyone could see the reprehensible way he has treated us.UPDATE: The day after posting this review I received an email from Alex stating that unless I retract the review, we now have to pay over $1500 for the extras that we ordered. I have posted the pictures of the extras he keeps referring to which are actually items that we placed in our original order and are still waiting for 6 months later, and are now apparently being held hostage. We have contacted the cabinet manufacturer, filed a complaint with the BBB and reached out to an attorney.

We ordered cabinets from Premium for our kitchen remodel. They were very helpful and friendly during the ordering process and the cabinets were delivered promptly. We were able to put many different specialty features such as pan and spice rack pullouts in our island that we absolutely love! The cabinets look beautiful and are very high quality. They are standing up to the heavy use of our large family very well and are also easy to clean as an added bonus (a must-have if you have children). I would definitely use them again!

We had such a wonderful experience with Taylor & Alex from Premium Cabinets! They were so friendly during the purchase and installation process. We appreciated the quality of the cabinets, as well as the fact that soft close drawers and cabinets come standard. Taylor worked with us to create the layout and was more than happy to make adjustments as we needed to. Alex and his crew were so professional. We had a couple doors that had to be replaced due to arriving warped, and Alex was communicative about when they would arrive. He personally checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied with the work. Weve been in our house about two months, and the cabinets still look great. Full kitchen remodel. Cabinets turned out great. I’m very happy with how they turned out. My problem is with customer service. They installed the wrong molding above the cabinets. Wasn’t even close to the same molding we discussed that was on the quote and graphics. Whatever, everyone makes mistakes. I call to address the problem and they say I have to pay for the new molding even though this isn’t what they told me I was getting. Odd considering I just made a significant purchase through them and it was their mistake, but whatever it’s not that much and I just want it finished and done right. That was in the beginning of January and it still hasn’t been fixed, even though I was willing to pay for it. I keep asking about it and don’t get a response unless I am persistent, but they keep telling me they are waiting on the shipment. Didn’t take nearly that long for my full kitchen cabinets. The customer service was excellent until they got my money. Shouldn’t have given them a penny until it was done properly, but lesson learned. Looks like I’ll have to fix it myself. Disappointing because I was happy with the cabinets, but I will be finding another company to work with on future projects.

This is one of the best companies with exceptional customer service.We were doing a complete rehab of our home, and chose a black shaker cabinet design. The whole process end-to-end was handled with utmost care and professionalism. Alex gave good recommendations and was upfront with any risks or issues that may arise during order and installation.A few of the cabinets were out of stock, but he came with an alternative plan and at no extra charge was able to rectify the problem which prevented long delays in delivery.He consistently kept us informed, and worked around our schedule for delivery and installation as were trying to fit in other activities for our remodel. Talked with them about doing some custom cabinet work for a new home. They weren’t able to help with the project we were looking to do but put us in touch with all the people we needed to get things done properly. If that’s the type of service they are willing to give to people who haven’t purchased anything from them, I think that speaks very highly of them. I would definitely try to use them again in the future.

A friend referred us to Premium cabinets after our home flooded during Harvey. We ordered kitchen, bathroom and living room cabinets. We received a really great product for a very reasonable price. They beat the prices on all of the “big names” stores, but provided a quality product. The installers were wonderful . We recently had a problem with a few of the soft close hinges and Alex replaced them immediately. I would recommend them to friends and I would use them again in the future!

I don’t think anybody could ever say that planning a kitchen it’s not stressful. Took me a while to get the design how I wanted and there were a few bumps along the way but I have to say I could’ve not had the outcome that I had without the assistance and help of ALEX. He truly helped the unexpected events and challenges of getting my new kitchen cabinets installed so much better. I do really like the Quality of the manufacturing , The cabinets I went with were the flush face cabinets. Lane is absolutely all about customer service and his pricing can’t be touched. I had several bids and each contractor couldn’t even touch his pricing so I ended up using him on my own. Due to this I had tons of questions and had to modify the design several times. Lane was prompt and happy to help. Alex was very professional as well as the installers. My cabinets are beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. I too chose Lane based on reviews. You won’t be disappointed! Top notch product, pricing and customer service.

After fixing our foundation, we did a full kitchen update. Love our new cabinets! Great quality. Love the draws, pull out spice rack, and hidden hinges/hardware are very sturdy. They delivered and installed on time. They made great suggestions on design. Couldn’t be more pleased!

I did have some issues when we first started. But one thing I can tell you is they have great customer service and willing to make the customer happy. I started off working with a designer at Premium Cabinets. She was fairly new to the company so there were design items she didnt mention to me. However she was very patient and was very prompt in answering my questions and emails. There were some issues we needed to iron out, however, the operation manager, Alex, personally came to my condo and remeasured to make sure the cabinets I wanted will fit. He made me feel much more comfortable making the purchase. Alex was very experienced and knowledgeable with his products. He worked with my contractor to ensure the cabinets were installed correctly and the appliances will fit. He, too, was very responsive to my questions and text messages.The cabinets come in real wood (no mdf or half wood half mdf etc) and is very sturdy and professional. Love the gray color I selected.One thing I do one to commend about the Premium Cabinetry staff is that they are very honest and love what they do. I wanted to tip Alex and his co worker but Alex did not take the money. Instead, he indicated that if I liked their service an honest review on Yelp or Google would be appreciated! I havent gotten that type of response on a tip ever before. Overview I highly recommend Premium Cabinetry to anyone.I will post pics of the cabinets when all appliances are installed.

We purchased kitchen & bathroom cabinets for our home after Hurricane Harvey. They helped us with the design and did the install. Everything came on time and according to the schedule they had promised. My contractor was blown away by the quality and price. I noticed a problem with a drawer after a few months and they replaced it immediately. 2 years later, I saw that a shelf peg was missing. They mailed me replacements without question at no cost to me. I would definitely recommend them.

Three experiences with Premium Cabinets—ALL GOOD!First: Family’s Harvey Flood house—Replaced all cabinets. Turned out SO nice!Second, family member remodeled 1960s house and put it gorgeous tall cabinets, HUGE island, two colors...SO PRETTY!Third, our 1870-something house. Started as a really weird pine-board kitchen with holes in the walls and is now BEAUTIFUL! Premium Cabinets’ Color and style selection are really nice. We went with a simple white, but even the insides of cabinets are FINISHED, not raw wood. Drawers are full-extension. Doors are soft-close. They even reinforced the area for my apron sink. I’m THRILLED with how this kitchen is looking! Ill post pictures once I get counters and old-wood shelves up. The crown at the top adds SO much to the finished look of the cabinets.Yes, we shopped around. Cabinets to Go had decent prices, but SUCH a limited color and style selection. Home Depot and Lowes are SO expensive! Nope. Premium Cabinets came in reasonably priced with a GREAT selection and wonderful design help. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Ill just look at three different but very important areas:1 CUSTOMER SERVICE: Top quality. Lane was great to do business with. He usually answers the phone and he listened to what we wanted. The guy who I worked with at home depot who shall remain nameless didnt know how to listen.2 PRODUCT: The product was like a four out of five. We bought white cabinets. I guess they are really exactly what we wanted. All the TV shows we watch used the same kind of modern looking cabinets.3 COST: The cost was right around what we were expecting to do our kitchen right. We didnt buy the cheapest stuff or the most expensive stuff.Overall a pretty good experience.

There are not enough words to adequately express the gratitude and satisfaction we received working with Lane and the team at Premium Cabinets. Great customer service, and apart from the service the cabinets turned out great. My wife and I went to other places and the service and options of cabinets were not great. We spoke with Lane many times and he was very helpful with whatever issues or questions we had and especially since it was Christmas time when we had to order the cabinets he made it possible for them to arrive on the ETA he gave us. Edit to 2021It is now under new ownership and unfortunately they do not seem to have the same work ethic and standards that Lane and his team had. I called to get a problem resolved with cabinets we purchased less than 5 years ago and although I understand a service fee it was met with more of an attitude of, We are under new ownership so we didnt really do that. In my opinion new ownership should never have to be spoken and should still go above and beyond. A previous customer is the best way to gain future customers or in this case a way to ensure you dont receive a referral. Dissapointed they were so quick to cut ties with a customer.We just finished up a kitchen install with Premium Cabinets and I can honestly tell you that you wont find a more affordable custom cabinet experience. Victor the installer takes great pride in his work and doesnt pack up until the job is exactly the way it should be. I had more than a few requests along the way and he met my expectations every time. When we are ready to update other areas in the house we will without a doubt look to no other than Premium Cabinets. I appreciate a company that stands behind their products and installation as well as keeping an honest price without the need to negotiate or worry about hidden costs at the end. Also, the cabinets were ready right when they said they would be. Overall a great experience!

I needed new kitchen cabinets for my mothers house and I bought them and picked them up at Premium Cabinets. Everything went smoothly. I bought new white shaker cabinets. Working with Lane was the best decision we made. I thought that the 42 inch uppers were going to make the kitchen feel small and enclosed but using white and adding the crown molding really makes the kitchen feel open and high class!

Lane was easy to work with. We already had the layout done at Lowes (they quoted us more than 6k for the cabinets) so Lane plugged all the cabinets in digitally to make sure they fit perfectly in our kitchen. The best thing was, it costed us less than half the price of Lowes! Cabinets came fabricated, we only had to get our contractor to install it, following the model Lane gave us. We recommended Premium Cabinets to our neighbor and would continue to recommend them to anyone in need of cabinets.

Lane was willing to help fix some install issues that were caused by the carpenter who installed even though I turned down his install bid which was cheaper than my carpenter initially offered! I was waiting to order cabinets for months and months. I finally saved up the money to buy kitchen cabinets. I bought cabinets after talking to Premium Cabinets for a few months over email.The details took about ten emails to sort through but once we were done and I received my final price - I was pretty happy. I spent over $2500.00 less than what Lowes was quoting me. I bought white shaker cabinets. The cabinets arent amazing but they are really better than what I need. For a while I considered buying the off the shelf super cheap stuff from Home Depot but Im happy that I didnt.Communication was pretty important before and after the sale. I am happy that I went with this place.I went to at least five showroom and I talked to a bunch of different designers but everyone made everything so complicated. Premium Cabinets made it easy by keeping things simple. This has to be one of the best cabinet places in Houston. I wouldnt deal with the big stores if I was you. I went to some other of the other cabinet stores and some of them had nice showrooms but the process was much more complicated than it really needed to be.Simple - well built cabinets. Easy process for designing, ordering and payment. I already recommended these cabinets to my brother in law and I think hell be ordering a whole kitchen soon.Anyway, I dont usually go out of my way to write these reviews on websites but after being asked to and having such a good experience - I really couldnt say no. Premium cabinets - 5 Stars. Would recommend.Ill summarize by saying: Working with the Premium Cabinets folks was great -- they made the entire process very easy. We were shown the complete range of options, were able to visualize what the kitchen would look like when done, and had all of our questions answered. The 3D cad design pictures really helped me understand what I was getting. Im pretty happy that I bought cabinets from Lane and I didntrefinish the cabinets in my kitchen. Originally I had a deal withanother cabinet company to refinish the cabinets that came with thehouse I bought but refinishing is extremely labor intensive andapparently also extremely expensive! I found premium cabinets onangieslist. There is a reason that they have so many positive reviewsonline. I bought my cabinets in April. I also bought a matching vanitywhich also turned out to be pretty nice. I googled around and Ieventually found the yelp reviews that Lane has. No other cabinetplace i found had consistent good positive reviews.

Cabinets were much better quality than big box stores and came loaded with soft close drawers and doors. Lane was great to deal with and I would recommend these cabinets to anyone looking for a decent, well-priced alternative to the run-of-the-mill offerings at HD, Lowes, etc.

After reading shiny reviews I decided to buy from Premium Cabinet. I thought the price was good until I see the cabinet shipped. I ordered Waypoint shaker style. The frame, doors and drawer box are pretty light weight. They don’t look any more durable than IKEA’s. Pretty cheap quality compared my old cabinet from builder. The finish easily scratch. I ordered taupe color and the finish is so thin, dent from installation here and there and they put wood putty or marker to cover.The first issue is Taylor measured my wall wrong ended up with shorter cabinet. I have to wait another 2 weeks to ship a section of top and bottom cabinet. second issue is the drawer is too thin only 3.5” and can’t store cling wrap. I’s a design flaw hope they change it to at least 4” deep. third issue is they put an awkward drawer for master bath cabinet and I reject this and Lane need to reorder again for another 3 weeks wait. Total from order to completion is about 3 months. The installer work pretty efficiently but sometimes a little careless because of rushing.Lane was responsive but the mistakes and quality they deliver with their premium price are not worthy. He’s basically order the pieces and lack of coordination with the installer. My neighbor bought from Cabinets togo with half of the price I spent here and their cabinets are more sturdy and better finish. My lesson is, don’t trust with online reviews especially no bad reviews.

My wife and I had to gut our home after it flooded, and at first, we werent sure what direction to go to replace our kitchen cabinets. We read online reviews from a bunch of places, but what stood out most was that the owner, Lane, came to your house and worked with you one-on-one to choose the right cabinets for your home. It seemed too good to be true, because in this day and age people are just too busy to give you that kind of personal service, but we made the appointment to see what would happen, and lo and behold, Lane came over in person to help us find the perfect cabinets for our renovation project! Since the kitchen is the centerpiece of our house, Lane took a lot of time to give us his take on what might work best for us. As he started taking measurements, we told him what used to be in our kitchen, and he stopped us dead in our tracks and said: Thats the biggest mistake people make when theyre making renovations to their home -- they say my cabinets used to be here and over here -- and they end up making the same design and layout of a room, only with different cabinets. So we let Lane do his thing -- he measured the kitchen, asked us where we wanted to put new appliances (stove, fridge, dishwasher), inquired if there were any special additions we might want (wine rack, stemware holder, spice cabinet, etc.), and went through the gamut of possibilities with us in order to create our dream kitchen. While Lane designed our blueprint, he told us to stop by his showroom to see what types of cabinets were available. Lane broke it down for us -- you could buy American-made or Chinese-made cabinets. The Chinese-made cabinets come in a limited variety of styles and colors, but they are definitely less expensive. The American-made cabinets have a much larger variety of styles and colors, but they are more expensive, especially once you start adding custom pieces to the mix. No matter which cabinets you choose, all of them come with soft-closing drawers and doors, meaning that you just give a light push, and the drawers and doors close by themselves with no slamming -- theyre AWESOME! My wife and I chose the American-made cabinets from a company called Waypoint. We brought Lane a sample of our granite for the counter and our tile for the kitchen floor and he let us match away at what color and style cabinets we wanted. We chose Maple Mocha Glaze,and he gave us a large sample to take back to our house to make sure the color would match in our kitchen. Lane adjusted his blueprint as we modified what we wanted, and once we decided the exact sizes of the cabinets and chose the extras, Lane ordered them to be delivered directly to our house in just a few weeks. The next step was getting an installer -- that was a huge challenge -- you can do it yourself if youre a DIY person, you can find your own installer online or through family and friends, or you can get a recommendation from Lane. We did the latter, and the installer Lane paired us with was absolutely HORRIBLE -- he was sloppy, lazy, unprofessional, and left a lot of repairs and touch-up work to be done. You might be saying to yourself as you read this, Then why are you giving Premium Cabinets 5 stars? Well, the true sign of a top quality business is how they react to a problem and address an adverse situation. In this case, Lane took a look at the shoddy craftsmanship of his installer, realized there was a big problem with his work and attitude, and then did two things: 1) he ended his working relationship with that installer, especially after receiving complaints from other customers; and 2) he sent out several of his other installers to take care of the different fixes with our cabinets and did so without any additional charges. Lane told us he stood by not only the quality of his cabinets, but by the overall installation process, and he said he wanted us to be 100% satisfied with our cabinets. My wife and I LOVE OUR CABINETS and we truly have our DREAM KITCHEN thanks to Lane! Weve since ordered our bathroom cabinets from Lane and they are awesome too!

After shopping around for a few months, we found Premium Cabinets. We talked with Lane and he was able to get us better quality Cabinets for a lot less than anyone else that we talked to. That includes big stores like HD, Lowes and Ikea and some other custom cabinet places. I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have found these guys. OUSTANDING service and AWESOME communication and a FANTASTIC price for the quality that we got. If you are looking for cabinets, do yourself a favor and at least talk to or go see Lane at Premium Cabinets. No one will beat his service and I would be shocked to see someone beat his price!

Yes the reviews are legit.I dealt with four different cabinet retailers in Houston but went with Lane at Premium for my purchase. The first big reason was the line of cabinets he works with. He carries what I think are two of the best low and mid budget options to choose from today, which are Waypoint Living Spaces and then the quality Chinese flat-pack brand that he carries. Both are excellent. As a carpenter, I was really impressed with his budget line even though I was set on Waypoint, which is made in the US. I also worked with two other Waypoint venders but they came in significantly higher on their prices for the same thing.So, for absolute value - quality for the price, either in a US or imported line Premium was the best for cabinets in Houston. Then theres the process of layout and ordering. I found the world of cabinets sales to be weird and protective and I did not like the process working with other vendors. They would not give me costs of various options and just wanted to give me a bottom line. They did not want to work very interactively with me on the design and seemed to resent any changes I made to their proposed layouts as a pita and time sink. Lane was not like that, he offered an initial layout by email then sat down with me and we adjusted it together looking at his design software while he gave me a sense of how much difference a change might make to the bottom line. Then when we got a satisfactory layout iteration together he added it up and got me a number. I was able to refine from there and really get what I wanted. That was not so easy with the other vendors. And again, the number was the best, comparing apples to apples.Then there was delivery, installation and follow up. Lane kept me in the loop, dealt with my complicated delivery issues and made it all work easily, making sure there were no problems. When the installer needed an extra trim piece, Lane was on it right away and got it to me in a matter of days at Christmas time. He knew what to do and did it right away.What else? I thought I might have a warranty issue with a detail and he was ready to work with me on that. In the end I decided it was not an issue (1/8 warped door on the pantry) so we did not make a claim, but he was ready and willing to go to bat for me with the company. I understand that Waypoint is very good about honoring their warranty, though again, I did not put it to the test yet.In sum, I cannot recommend Premium highly enough, and Im not easy to please. You wont regret choosing them and frankly we need more people like Lane doing business in Houston. A rare gem.

We are in the process of remodeling our house and was in the process of choosing a vendor to get our cabinets from. We were lucky enough to stumble upon Premium Cabinets and bought our cabinets from Lane.We looked at more than 8-9 vendors on our cabinet search. We checked out all the big box store (Lowes, Home Depot), and several smaller stores around town. Bar none, Premium Cabinets was able to give us the best cabinets for the price. They were typically at least half the cost of most of the smaller store for the same quality cabinets, and was maybe a few hundred dollars more than the cheapo cabinets at Lowes/HD. Definitely best bang for the buck. It even comes standard with soft-closed doors! Even my installer who also builds custom cabinets commented on how good the quality of these cabinets were. The only con, if you can call it that, we saw was that they didnt have nonstandard/odd sized HEIGHTs on cabinets (i.e 33 height).Lane was a pleasure to do business with. He came out and measured the cabinets required. Provided some guidance on what we should do with our space. He worked with us to help meet our budget, provided us a design of the environment (which was later used by the installer), and helped order our cabinets. Our remodel was going slower than expected, so Lane was nice enough to store the cabinets at his warehouse for almost a month! Thanks Lane! We just installed the cabinets, and they look amazing. We are waiting for the countertops and will post some pictures after we are done.

We recently had to remodel the kitchen in a rental property due to the Memorial Day flood. After looking at cabinet options from both well-known big box providers I happened to discover Premium Cabinets during a Google search. My wife and I met with Lane at his office & were pleasantly surprised we can get “custom order” cabinets at a slightly higher cost than the in-stock particle board big box cabinets.Lane came out to the property, measured the kitchen, gave us design ideas then final pricing. He was able to work with our schedule & have the cabinets delivered as promised (actually he was nice enough to hold the cabinets due to a construction delay on our part). Easy to understand diagrams and layouts were provided, which I gave to my contractor to follow. We did run into one minor issue (incorrect hinges on a couple of cabinets) but he was able to resolve this problem quickly, which showed he is very committed to pre & post sales customer service. It was a pleasure working with Lane & I would highly recommend his products to anyone.
