I would give this place 5 stars but the customer service at the meat department and the cashiers is awful. The two young girls there don’t smile, greet you, or count your change to make sure they have it to you correctly. The only good service I experienced there was the food. The female cook there was polite, courteous, doubled checked with me to see if they got my order correct, and the food was tasty. This is why I have them any stars, thanks to the two older female cooks. The place is not very clean and looks very run down. It’s what you call a ghetto store. Mostly Hispanics go there to shop because of the traditional types of foods and products. As a Hispanic myself, I like the products they sell. The down side of this store is that it is very expensive. A torta cost me $12. That’s what I pay at a buffet. But this is place is not as bad but they can lower their prices a bit. And if they keep so expensive, I don’t see why they can’t renovate the place with the money people pay here to shop.

This place does not look clean, they have some serious price gouging(.70/medium lime!), and worst of all my dad found a RUBBER BAND in his food. He had to spit it out. We tried the barbacoa, the goat meat, and the carnitas. They were all subpar. There were also small bones in the meat. Why serve food and not prepare food the right way? There are definitely other places that make all of these meats way better. They also overcharge or sneak in a charge in their total charges. My dad had to ask several times why the bill had come out to the amount, and they kept saying that it was the taxes. It was very insulting as we know how to add as well as how to calculate sales taxes, so we KNOW that we got ripped off. Save your money and don’t visit this place....

Yall have to come in and try the food here. And I mean the food they make to order. I stopped here for a few refreshments, not knowing they had a taqueria. Had the fajita tacos and a fajita quesadilla.Blew my mind. Tacos were jam packed with meat, and the quesadilla was so big, the to go meal container was stretched to close.I found a hidden spot for my lunch hour now.Cashiers are good looking too.

DELICIOUS Barvacoa ,great taste !!!

This little store is awesome! The owners are so friendly. The produce and meat is always fresh, including the taqueria. I love coming here when I get a chance. So much better than Las Michuacans, they are very disrespectful and dont seem to keep up with cleanliness. But not La Frontera Meat Market, they are always on top of the game.

I spoke to ask about the prices of the fajita but I get that they cant give me the price over the phone. I wanted to compare prices for a party. The girl who answers the phone is very aggressive. I do not recommend this store, I wanted to give you a chance but neither way do you miss it.
