I know nothing about metals and steel. The photos should show what you can buy there in general. Theres no prices shown. When u order something big you pay and drive at the back of warehouse to pick it up.

Im not happy. I had an order . It was pulled wrong by the employee in the photo. We i had to make an inconvenient return trip i waited for an our with an empty bay. Customer service does not seem to be a priority neither is order .

Called in at 9:30am for a will call pickup, paid in full. Went at 4:00 pm to pick up my material, and nothing was readyI had to wait 45 minutes for my pipe to be pulled and sawed, and my other materials were not pulled. I expected to have my materials waiting and ready.

Fast, efficient, helpful and friendly... they are also well-stocked and the prices are great. My company buys from them regularly and its no wonder why. Steel Supply is a top-notch place.

Im a DIYer and I dont know that much about steel. But I thought plate steel was flat. I bought a 5x4 3/16 plate to make a welding table and it was curved. Anyhow I was able to straighten it out by heat shrinking the convex side of the plate with my tig torch. I like this place because they are open on Saturday. I wish they were open all weekend.

The staff needs to be more friendly

Only used them a few times so far but every time they seemed helpful and knowledgeable. Prices were great. One time we had over $500 and they delivered for free. That was a huge savings for me. When I needed specific cut sections, yes, it took a little longer, but thats to be expected. They have to handle the material safely. This isnt McDonalds. You wont be out of there in 75 seconds or less. Overall, I cannot find it cheaper or better whether online or locally so Ill make the 30 minute drive or round up my order for the delivery.

The customer service is just horrible! Today was the second time I have waited 20 minutes and ended up walking out with only one other customer in the store. They dont even say anything like, We will be right with you. They actually ignore you standing there patiently. Never again will I go here again!

One of the slowest metal receiving companies in houston. Have been to this location numerous times, and every time its painfully slow. Workers are walking at a slow pace, playing loud music and workers are horse playing.

Ive been here several times to pickup precut steel items, no problems. Anything more than that and expect delays and slow service. First time I requested a quote for some steel items it took almost a entire week for them to get back to me. Second time I requested a quote for an amount of steel plate I needed for a job, and Im still waiting almost two weeks later for a response. Even called back in several times and left a message and still nothing. I dont know maybe its just the small businesses or individual customers that get ignored. Poor customer service and poor way to run a business.
