Haley was very helpful when my niece picked out a dress for her high school homecoming court. She tried on five different dresses before settling on a stunning gown. Haley gave her tips, tricks and honest opinions.

I mainly found a beautiful dresses and I looked Amazon this is my second time and my girl Haley she’s so helpful.. y’all need to check out she has mostly gorgeous dresses all sizes ..

First of all, let me just say, they have gorgeous dresses here!! Let me also start out by saying, I absolutely hate leaving any sort of bad reviews anywhere; but this shop was down right terrible. She helped my friend on the more petite side pick out all sorts of dresses while making her extremely uncomfortable. I believe she was too comfortable with feeling up my friends body and it came off as extremely creepy, unprofessional, and uncalled for. Both my friend and I got VERY uncomfortable vibes almost immediately upon entering the store. The blonde saleswoman was extremely catering, borderline obsessive, to my smaller friend; meanwhile gave me two mediocre, grandma Sunday church type dresses. My friend was not allowed to make any suggestions to what *she* (the paying customer) wanted, nor was she allowed to touch any dress that she didn’t specifically give to her. Both of us found the “managers” attitude and persona to be very off putting, rude, harsh, and honesty very child like for an old wrinkled women who looks as though she should be retiring. Not to mention, another customer who happened to be in the store at the same time as us, was obviously annoyed at the woman’s over bearing, loud, pushy and obnoxious way, when she was continuously harassed, as she was trying to change, by the owner while she was standing outside the door. The woman finally yelled, “WHAT?!” as she was just not left alone to change in peace. All in all, based off what we saw and experienced for ourselves in the store, along with these horrendous but very accurate reviews, we feel as though this women should be let go asap. It is painfully apparent that her extreme lack of accountability displayed in her “replies” proves she will never change her poor service skills, as all she can seem to do is speak condescendingly to bad reviews, or just fully deny them. Truly a disappointment since yet again, beautiful dresses. :(

First of all, the dresses here are incredibly beautiful. The mall is like dying already but this store really stands out. Second, the blonde lady who helped me was really nice and helpful by trying to know my situation and preference in order to choose the dresses for me.However, the reason why i’m giving a 3 star is this. While I understand the intention, the way she approached when it comes to a salesman attitude should be improved. I get that there are other customers waiting, but I felt really REALLY rushed to get everything through and pressured to make a decision on the spot. I really needed times to fully checked and made up my mind so it was an unpleasant experience. Just a suggestion.Other than that, the dresses here look really pretty so one should check it out.

5 stars for this dress shop! The owner knew exactly what size my daughter was just by looking at her. Asked her what she was looking for. The very first dress she pulled out was the one! Gorgeous prom dress that fit her perfectly and was well under budget. The owner was very knowledgeable about her dresses and what worked for different body types. My daughter is in love with this dress and looks beautiful in it! Worth the 2 hour drive for us. We will definitely be back!

This is the ONLY place that you need to look for your formal wear. I searched through Saks, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Dillards, and Macy’s for over 2 weeks and NONE of them had a vast and impressive selection. H. Harloquin had not only a VAST selection of dresses, they were all diverse, high quality and the owner is the sweetest human you’ll ever meet. She took her time and helped me make the right decision for my shape and style. I will PROUDLY patron her business for ALL of my formal wear needs.

Dresses are very dirty from people trying them on consistently over the years, the owner is very rude, pushy, agitated, & made my daughter feel insecure! My daughter wanted to try on a particular dress & she told her NO you don’t want to try that on and removed the dress from the fitting room. And never suggested it or even mentioned to try on. I heard her say she didn’t want to many dresses in the fitting room. So I assumed that was it but did not hear what was said in the fitting room about the dress. So based off of my daughters body frame she made the decision that wasn’t the best fit for her. If you don’t want to see your daughter CRY after leaving the store I suggest not to go there & go down the hall to The Outlet they have beautiful clean dresses for half the price and they also have a seamstresses lady name Naz she’s wonderful & patient!!Noted: you write back to prove a point or statement really don’t care what you have to say ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS !! You have awful reviews. Wish I would have read before going in here! So do yourself the the favor REVIEW YOURSELF before you waste your time responding to me.

I originally gave this place a high rating. Then I was shopping on Harwin Street and found my daughters dress at $125 & I paid $570 for it here. I told the lady how much I paid for it and she said wow they were told that someone was buying their dresses and raising the prices smh!!! Dont go here without looking on Harwin first. Im absolutely ticked off!!!

So its prom season! A time when young women dress up and feel beautiful and like princesses! My daughter and I were excited to begin this journey however after visiting this boutique, I needed a break. The woman who was assisting was too over bearing and high strung. She was pushy and ruined our experience. She did not listen to what my daughter wanted and kept bringing dresses she felt my daughter should try on. My daughter actually fell in love with a gown we picked (the Cinderella looking one shown below in pic 2), however because of her experience with this woman she was adamant that we DO NOT spend our money with this boutique. Not to mention the dress fabric was coming unraveled and the straps were worn, which also made me reluctant to buy, however the worker insisted that the dresses would be ordered and new. Anyway, if she calms down and listened to her client desires, she may sell more.

Horrible customer service the lady named Haley had the worst nasty attitude ever and any dress we wanted to try on she would “it’s too small or I don’t think it will fit you” my mom was asking question and all she would do is reply it the rudest way possible she offered to stay late and show us her dresses and we were very appreciative of that but over all it was the most stressful experience for us and we will not be returning and just a little piece of advice if your gonna be rude and have attitude don’t work there simple🤷🏽‍♀️.

Edit: I think the owner’s response says it all. I don’t need to know anything about the dress industry to watch 2 groups of people walk out and say it was because she was rude or to know she was being rude to me and my family. My concerns were with how we were treated and if that’s the wrong thing to be concerned about we made the right choice by leaving.No idea about the dress quality or prices, the lady there chased us out of the store while prom dress shopping for my sister. Her behavior and demeanor was beyond rude. Not letting any one look through dresses besides her, snarky comments, and yelling across the shop “HEY IM TALKING TO YOU.” I’m sure this store will soon be closed the rest in this mall.Nasty rug (needed to be cleaned, doesn’t matter how much it costs) in the waiting area pictured and weird mattress to sit on.

Haley advised me of fabric and styles that would best enhance my body shape.Also during this COVID19 epidemic crisis assured me that my gown would arrive in due time. After going to countless dress stores looking for a dress for an event I have coming up, I finally found the perfect dress at H. Harloquin. Haley was very sweet, very helpful, and very encouraging. I think all the negative reviews about her on here are people misconstruing her lively personality for rudeness. She went above and beyond helping me find my dress. I went in once last week, leaving empty-handed because I wasnt 100% sure yet, and she gave me a call a few days later letting me know she received a dress I was looking at in my size. I came in today and tried it on and it was perfect. Its that kind of customer service that keeps customers coming back. The store has very high-end brands with a variety of styles at reasonable prices. You WILL find a dress here. Im so happy that I found this place. Thanks Haley!

First let me start by saying the dresses are beautiful. That being said they’re not worth the harassment and horrible customer service. This lady made it the worst shopping experience for my girls. She was very invasive of personal space, disrespectful, and truly just not a nice person. I would never expose my children knowingly to this type of behavior. Save your time and go somewhere else.

She is not super prissy about her dresses getting dirty , if you try them on. Helped me try on each dress and took pictures of me , which helped me decide which dress suited me best. The website is very miss leading because they have very few sizes and dresses to choose from, also the lady is rude!! I was looking around and walked to the back of the store to try and find a dress and then I look up and see a piece of paper with “layaway” written on it in marker, so my mother and I walk off and the lady comes and says “Who’s back here! Those are already sold!!” I proceeded to say, “I know, we saw your sign” she then responded with “oh okay.” Not to mention that the store also has an odor.

She worked with my daughter to find her dress AND called the company 2 see if it was offered in her favorite color!!! I visited this store today in search for an evening gown. Despite finding a gown I was excited about, I walked out empty handed. My decision to leave had much to do with the aggressive temperament, disrespectful and culturally incompetent demeanor of the owner. She often mumbled making dismissive and rude statements; particularly after she noticed I was accompanied with my mother-in-law who was wearing a hijab. She disallowed myself and family members from browsing through the racks and rejected my request to have the lights turned on for better viewing of the dresses. I attempted to overlook her behavior due to the urgency for an evening gown, but left deciding not to reward negative and seemingly prejudicial behavior.

Love love this store!! The owner is personable and she knows her stuff. She was able to tell my size and style. Just trust her! I will be back here again. Amazing prices too

The owner of the store was the RUDEST CREATURE ON THE PLANET. If you want someone elses opinion crammed down your throat, this is the place to go. From the moment my mother and I walked into the store we got dirty glances from her. She didnt even ask what styles I was interested in and then proceeded to pick out dress styles she thought would suit me. Any opposition I had to trying on certain dresses was dismissed abruptly and she tried her hardest to keep me from trying on the one dress I liked. When I didnt want to try any others she resorted to the catalogs to show me more of the dress style I said I didnt want. When my mother tried to look through the catalog the lady INSTANTLY closed it. As I was headed to the fitting room I passed a woman and her daughter who was also looking for a prom dress and they clearly werent pleased with the dress that was being forced upon them. They tried to politely tell the woman but she refused to take no for an answer and insisted that they buy the dress. When I came out the fitting room the woman made a disgusted face! Then she started screaming that I broke the zipper and made a scene in front of the whole store saying she knew I was too big for the dress even though I wear size 6 and the dress (which was a 6) fit perfectly. She started screaming at my mother telling her we needed to purchase the dress and at that point I grabbed her and we walked out with the lady still making the ugliest most unprofessional scene.

When I saw this dress after shopping all day my heart just lit up and I fell in love with it. Hailey was so much help and made me feel so special.

WORST SERVICE EVER! Not being dramatic at all. Beautiful dresses and all but the old lady named Haley is extremely rude and impatient. She was very pushy and kept trying to take pictures without giving me a chance to get a good feel of the dress. Oh, Wow! It was totally the perfect experience! We were trying to get a quinciniera dress for my daughter and after looking online for a special order, they were able to get it ordered, shipped and delivered to me within 3 days! The cost was extremely affordable, in comparison, and the measurements were perfect. Its a very flattering fit, and the sales lady was very professional and knowledgeable! We will definitely make this our official formal store!

This is an amazing store... I felt like a little girl in a candy shop! They have so many dresses for every occasion. Haley, the owner, was so nice and very patient ... I wanted to try on every dress in the store! I only left with one but will be back to buy more ! ❤❤❤

To be honest, I walked in there just to browse. The place was completely empty no other customers in sight, which should have had said a lot. The minute I walked in with my sister and two nephews she demanded that the children not touch anything. She immediately started measuring me and handing me dresses and pushing me into the dressing room, only then did I learn her name: Hayley, after she pushed me into the dressing room. I was explicitly ordered not attempt to zip up the dress, instead she would do it for me. After I got out of the dressing room, she had some dirty, disgusting high heels for me to try on. Any negative comment I made about any dress was automatically shot down by her. Also, per her instructions, you are supposed hang the the dress by the hanger straps. When I tried on a dress that I felt too tight, i came out and she told me to back and take it of because i would bust the zipper. Once, I forgot to hang the dress by its hanger straps that by the way had a stain on it!, and she came in to add a dress, she saw the dress on the floor and started looking at me like I was crazy, as if one of her dresses should NEVER touch the floor. While my sister was outside, she exclaimed that I had done something to the dress. I quickly got dressed, she handed me a card, ha as if I would even consider buying one of her dresses after her extremely rude attitude. Needless to say, I ripped up her card and through it in the nearest trashcan. I am a person that likes to give people chances to redeem themselves, but over my dead body will I be wearing one of HER dresses to my prom. NO ONE SHOULD EVER SHOP THERE!

Ignore all other reviews. The moment I walked in there were so many options of high end brands that were beautiful and even better the prices were great. The costumer service was great. Very involved with the costumer and help you find your size in everything you wanted. Ive been to Austin, San Antonio, AND other shops in Houston and they dont compare to this store. If youre looking for a dress shop dont waist your time anywhere else just come here I promise youll find something for a great price. I would recommend this place to anyone you will love the atmosphere its very very inviting unlike 99% other prom dress shops.

I had been looking all day for a prom dress and was having a pretty unsuccessful day. I decided to go to this store, H.Harloquin, and quickly found that it looked pretty uninviting, with dresses everywhere, not organized whatsoever. A young girl (probably younger than me, and Im only a junior in high school) came up and showed me a few dresses. THEN I met the owner. She is extremely pushy and kept trying to convince me I liked dresses that were hideous. Then she finally asked what my price point was and when it was lower than she liked, she didnt want me to try any of the dresses I liked, but were slightly above my price point. When I did try on an expensive dress, she tried to convince me to buy it and also said I would rip it, all in front of my dad...When I said I wasnt buying anything, she just looked at me smugly and gave me a card and basically shoved me out of the store. WORST store Ive EVER been to. And that is saying something, because I shop quite a bit. Do not go here!!!!

I first went to H. Harloquin in 2002-2003 for winter formals and prom, and now over ten years later, I found a gorgeous gown for a banquet! Conveniently located at West Oaks too since I work in the energy corridor...thanks Haley for having a range of great dresses.

Manager, who Im assuming was this old rugged white lady, was very unprofessional. doesnt know how to communicate well with customers. very antsy with dresses and quick to dismiss anyone who doesnt meet expectations. was in so much shock leaving this store never experienced anything like that.

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. The absolute worst costumer service I have ever experienced, the owner or manager of the place was completely disrespectful and out of line. I went prom dress shopping with my friend, I found a dress I liked but was told I was to big and she had nothing in the store that would fit me. She begin measuring my friend and complementing her body but when she measured me she didn’t say a word. Also the dress I picked out “wouldn’t even go passed my feet”. I left the store with my friend absolutely crushed. That was my first time shopping for prom and it put a horrible taste in my mouth. NEVER USE THEM FOR BUSINESS.

I️ would highly not recommend this place to try and look for a dress!! My friend was looking around for prom dresses . The manager made rude comments about my friends size and she was very closed minded about the ideas we had . She accused my friend of messing up one of the dresses because the beads were falling off . Never go dress shopping here !! The managers attitude and behavior was very inappropriate !!

I’m not the type to take time out of my day to write a review, but after my experience at this shop I just had to. To start it all off she took my measurements wrong and thought I was a size smaller than what I actually am. She insisted on me to try on a size 2 and when the dress wouldn’t zip she got really frustrated and asked my mom to help her, but once my mom started to help her she got even more annoyed and hit her in her hands, she also insisted on me to try on some nasty old heels and when my mom said no she got really annoyed as if I wasn’t going to catch a fungus infection if I did. After trying on the fourth dress I really wasn’t having it so I was ready to dip but as I was taking off the dress she claimed that the zipper wasn’t going down and was being really harsh to it. my theory is she was trying to ruin it and make me buy it. Long story short 10/10 don’t recommend I rather wear my bathrobe than buy a dress from there.

The lady working there was rude, pushy and had an attitude the whole time. She made disgusting faces at me and made comments about my outfit and weight which were unnecessary and uncalled for. I failed to read the reviews before going which was a BIG mistake. Please DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. I could go on forever about my awful experience there, but just read the rest of the reviews and that’s basically how my experience went as well. I honestly think that they make fake accounts to leave good reviews for themselves because everyone in the store and the majority of the people leaving reviews hated her. Or maybe she’s just selective on who she treats well.

Honestly Im a happy customer..A friend of mine in Africa needed a Terani dress for her wedding in less than 3wks, Haley did all she could and eventually got me the exact dress I wanted and it was even cheaper compared to other stores. I mean I understand dresses like what we wanted takes quite some time to ship...but my order was ready for pickup after 5 days. Thank you Haley!!!!! Went here today to look for a prom dress. The lady was already being rude to a customer in front of me had an iffy feeling from the start. The worker shows me 2 dresses ( neither did I like ) she responded to me in a rude manner “ look yourself then “ and hurried to the back. Won’t be spending my money here EVER.

Awful awful customer service the owner or whatever she is, is so rude. She doesnt know how to talk to her customers at all. Not many choices of dresses and you cant even try on the dress you want bc she wont let you. You cant even zip or unzip your own dress one of the employees has to and thats so uncomfortable. Walking in she didnt even say welcome she just said let me measure you and told me a size 4 when usually Im a size 2 and then she wouldnt let me try on the dress I wanted when the tag said 6 she said no its a zero you cant try it on I was in the fitting room and she made me hand her it I drove 50mins just to go to that useless store. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Although the shop did have pretty dresses I wouldnt buy a dress from their it someone paid me to. The service lady was completely rude from the beginning. She barked orders at both me and my mother, with no please or thank you to be included. Then after barking orders to hold and move my dresses to the dress room while she continued to look for my prom dress not me. She tried to shove every dress i tried on down my throat, practically begging for a sale. If i said i didnt like it she continued to coax me to still buy it. Also while i was there she coaxed a girl into buying the exact same prom dress as her friend who had bought a dress earlier but in another color, although the girl wanted to keep looking. I can honestly say i will not recommend a visit here to anyone, unless you have the ability to get past complete lack of customer service or help.

Recently I purchased a fabulous mini-cocktail dress at H. Harloquin for a charity event at the Hotel Derek. The dress had an amazing fit and was a recommendation from the owner. The pricing was incredible! And the compliments on the dress did not stop all night long!!! You know you have a winner when you are at a fashion event and owners of other boutiques stop to ask where you purchased your dress. Thank you H. Harloquin!! I will definitely shop with you again! :-)

Service was horrible. The lady there was so demanding and rude. Made my cousin feel stupid and overweight.

The owner/manager who I’m assuming is that old white lady with like blond ish hair is crazy and has no people skills. She makes you feel so uncomfortable with her unnecessary comments and she tells you certain dresses won’t look good on you even though we’re the ones who are wearing the dress not her. She doesn’t give you any space she’s all over you like let me look in peace without you being all over me. No wonder that store was empty like look at who runs the store. Btw most of those five star ratings are fake lmaooo like whoever were to think that that lady has good customer service skills is about as crazy as her.

Me and my 2 cousins were referred to Haley her dress store by few friends and buying our dresses from her for our special occasion at church was a wonderful experience she had great collection well fitting, she had so much patients with us, I will deff referr her to all my family & friends HALEY please expect alot of business from my family and friends come your way!

Took my sister to look for prom dresses. The owner was very rude and extremely lacking in customer service skills. Once she found out our price point she wouldnt even let my sister look at anything just remotely higher in price. Not only that, but she kept insisting that she try on dresses that only she thought were right. After my sister had had enough and decided to leave, the owner literally started to complain to us that we were just leaving after she took three dresses to us, which my roommate responded to by tell her to eat a **** and we proceeded to leave.

I decided to visit H. Harloquin after literally visiting a dozen of other dress stores. Despite the bad reviews and 35 minute drive my primary focus was to find the ideal dress. As soon as I walked in I saw beautiful gowns. The owner immediately offered her assistance; asked what I was looking for, by when did I need it, and even took my measurements. After describing what I wanted, Ms. Haley showed me not what I was looking for but something so much better! I tried it on and fell in love. I had previously spent a numerous amount of hours searching for the right dress and walked out of H. Harlequin with my dream dress in less than 25 minutes. I could not be happier.

The younger worker was nice but the elder lady was rude. Im not sorry that I was picky because its my ideal prom dress. I would buy a dress but the customer service did not meet my expectations

Never have I left a store feeling so belittled and mistreated. Its such a shame, because the dresses are pretty, but I couldnt handle the manager another minute. She was rude, and doesnt have any people skills. She told me I was too big for some dresses without even trying them on, and accused me of yelling at her in front of customers. She is absolutely physco.... this store needs to be shut down on put into new ownership.

I bought my PERFECT little black dress from Harloquin that is my FAVORITE dress, I can change the look by layering or just wearing alone, I wish I had one in every color it fits me so perfectly and is so flattering I always get tons of compliments every time I wear it! Will definitely be returning to purchase a new dress for the holidays!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Very rude service and do not take into consideration what you like or are looking for. I went in looking for a print colorful flowy dress and they handed me very tight and form fitting dresses NOT what I was wanting. They only allow 1 person in the dressing room so only you and do not allow you to zip up the dress or even touch it because they could rip how are you going to put it on at home is my question if you cant touch it? Very bad service DO NOT RECOMEND!!!

If I could give this place a 0 i would not only was the lady with blond hair owner or manager (even worse ) would not even give my daughter dress to try on once she notice was not alone other employee gave her dress not only to be looked at as if I was going to steal her dress after several rude comments finally decide de to just leave then she screams at my daughter asking where is the dress as we walk out the door worst service ever do not know how store stays open as a business owner myself I was extremely shocked at customer service someone who is always rude shouldn’t be working in that department or have a business if it’s too much hassle to handle people I will sure be taking This complain further to the bbbIn response to your reply from what i have read other reviews you are a very rude person and maybe you need to reconsider your approach and the sad thing about it is that your employee was a wonderful person and helpful and my response to your accusations and judgment is justified like I mentioned before from one business owner to another you should reconsider your rudely spproach to people

Ive been all over Houston looking for a dress i went right in the lady found my size and picked up 5 dresses all fit no problem everything was greatThanks hailey

I felt very uncomfortable with the whole experience. The mall is closing down so there arent that many people around. This may just be the day I went. She lets you take pictures in the dresses you try on if thats something you want to do but personaly I just felt pushed to try more when I just wanted to leave.
