Cool place and good customer service. I spoke with someone sunday and ask if i can buy some finch birds, but wouldnt make it till exactly 6pm when they close and if it was still possible and they waited till i showed up and allowed me to get 2 beautiful birds. I really do appreciate that because i was down from loosing 2birds the day before. Thanks a lot yall. Will definitely be back❤.

Been going here for years now and they never disappoint me. Staff is very nice and all of their animals are healthy. Just stopped by today to get supplies and everything was clean put together. Whoever says otherwise doesnt know what theyre missing out on

My favorite pet shop if all of Houston. They have all the things I needed for my Axolotl. Employees are very informative and friendly. Definitely a 5 star pet shop.

Local pet store in houston. Very cleanly and organized inside. Have your needs for fish, reptiles, birds, and small mammals. Sell cute animals and from what I saw inside they all appeared in healthy conditions inside clean enclosures so for me thats a win. Have a macaw sitting freely by the checkout counter, cool shop.

Why is this bird stuck in this sad cage? Someone needs to rescue it ASAP. It needs more space and toys. Store owner told someone this bird was happy.

This is my go-to place for fish, fish food including ghost shrimp (much better price that those Pet.... places), and aquarium supplies. Knowledgeable owner as well as staff. Other animals available.

This place is awesome when it comes to fishes but if you take a look at the chameleons outside…. It’s a different story the poor guys are so dehydrated they don’t have any type of water!!!! They need a proper dripping system too don’t just put water out in a bowl!!! So disappointed

First time to visit. The emphasis is definitely fish, but the do have some tortoises and lizards. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great visit. Will be back.

The people were so nice and helpful. They showed me around and were very funny. The animal collection was amazing and the store was straight up amazing. The prices were a little high in my opinion thats the only issue I have.

“This is the ultimate fish store in the greater Houston area”- Recommended by my friend. Visit there once this winter. Lots of fancy goldfish, aquarium plant, tropical, and saltwater fish. Their fish room is really impressive, but I could not take any pictures due to the store camera policy. The owner is very knowledgeable and welcoming. She asked me to come back next Spring for the goldfish restock.

This place is beautiful with a big variety of fish and accessories. They do have some small reptiles and animals available. The people who work here are very pleasant and made sure I was helped before I could ask anything.

This place you have to watch out for they act so friendly because they are hiding that all there animals are not healthy from fish to birds or anything to be honest they keep there animals with deal animals and they get sick and they sell you one knowin it’s sick and don’t they even care about it. And honestly if I could I would give this place no stars

I love going to this store! It is family owned and they are awesome. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful when assisting you in a selection. I love the products they have as Im a new fish lover. I was able to select items to build a beautiful aquarium for our new fin babies. I was also able to trade-in a big beautiful fish for store credit and purchase some smaller beautiful fish. They have a variety of fish and friends that make shopping fun. We have made this place one of our family outings. And for the non-fin babies lover, they have you covered.

I stop by about every two weeks to buy ghost shrimp for my fire eel. 15 for $1.00 is a much better price than going to one of those big box pet stores. Good selection of fish and knowledge staff. They carry pet food and supplies as well as a smaller scale reptile, bird, and exotic pets.

I was disappointed..it had so much inventory and fish..but they didnt look like they well cared for.Numerous tanks with dead fish and green water.I was so disappointed😞I think they have potential.And I did get 2 fish..and he asked if I wanted anything else. And advised me tell him now so he didnt have come back.I unfortunately will not be returning.

Knowledgeable personnel, kindly, helpful guidance, and large variety of fish and birds and also baby turtles. I bought baby turtle for my daughter Christmas gift as a pit with its home and some decoration including color rocks and also its food. They did my purchase very fast and helped me to choose the necessary items. I hope they are healthy enough and last long.

Good discus fish, good red parrot fish.The thing I like about this pet store is their fishs health quality is way higher than other store. The death rate when brought home is way lower. The owner is very nice and the guys who help me are very nice as well.

We recently visited this store for the first time. They have an amazing variety of fish and pets. We bought 4 fish that are very unique, and unlike any that we had seen before. They even have a pet parrot Fruit Loop that was so fun to visit with. The owners, Stacy and Patrick, are precious people and were great with my kids! Stacey was very knowledgeable about birds too. She offered excellent advice on ways to get our Conure parrot to warm up to us. My kids loved watching the huge tortoises outside the store. Thank you, well be back.

There are a certain amount of experiences that prevent me from producing a full review of this business. I did visit this location while shopping for new LFS in Houston.First and foremost when arriving at this location the outside appearance gave me a small amount of Hope, in that it appeared that he did have a significant amount of Fountain / pond selection. A part of the hobby I cant comment too much on as I have only done Light reading on it.However, the biggest issue was upon entering the store. The entire store seemed poorly lit and this normally wouldnt be so much of an issue if we were simply talking about supplies. But when youre talking about aquatic tanks in the middle of the day oh, I find it difficult to find the reasoning of why none of the tanks had significant display lighting. This can be a red flag in certain circumstances.The second thing I noticed upon entering the store was like a local competitor, they had used aquarium equipment for sale. This again isnt an abnormal issue. However, some of the equipment was in quite poor condition, sold as is, and had prices listed that would allow me to acquire more than one of the identical item brand new for said price. This was a major red flag for me.Now I try not to judge anybody on what they choose to sell or how they choose to sell it, but what I do look for in every aquatic business I visit is how well do they care for their own aquatic environments. This in itself can Define the quality of Aquatic Life you might be purchasing on top of a general dedication or love for the hobby / industry. Now maybe I just caught them on a bad day and the lighting situation certainly did not help. But what I saw was far from impressive. I mean do yall need help employing people to clean up your tanks? Poor lighting, poor cleanliness, poor overall show quality are all major red flags to any serious hobbyist or customer.The last thing I have to mention is about overstocking. No I dont know if this business was storing its dinner before cooking or what, but when I see multiple tanks stocked so full the fish can barely move. This is simply a problem.At this point folks I simply could not bear to continue to tour the facility. As there were already too many red flags. Hopefully I caught them on a really bad day or week or month LOL.We will simply have to give it a little bit of time and attempt a revisit at a later date. Unfortunately due to our were experienced so far, we cannot recommend a visit at this time.

Pretty good. Could use better husbandry for most animals (I saw a bearded dragon in a cage with some hedgehogs ^^). Service is good, however, and prices are good.

This is the best pet store in Houston by far!I got all my fish from this store for both my aunts tank and my own. Pat is a very nice person and his wife as well. They are very knowledgeable and it’s affordable. I drive 30 minutes just to come here. It’s that good.

This used to be my favorite pet store. I used to go to the previous location too. The owner and his wife were amazing and the workers. I’ve bought so many things from here and would even take my dog for grooming. I have been away for a while and I dont live close anymore but I drove the 30+ mins full of excitement but what a disappointment! The asian worker was helping some other people but I told him I would need his help once done. He gave me a weird look but said ok. I walked around 20 mins and he never came to help. He even avoided me by quickly turning around when coming down the same isle 3 different times. He played with the parrot and then started helping someone who I know walked in way after me! I went to the counter for help and the owner was helping a lady who bought 2 birds. He never acknowledged me or anything. 2 other workers came up too. No one ever even said hello! I was sooo heartbroken because I seriously loved this place. I also wanted to ask the owner about a custom build at my home because I know he used to do that. I will never return!!!

Tons of fish, I bought several varieties for different tanks, prices were in the average range. Lots of hard to find species available and many of each to choose from. All seemed healthy, and tanks/ store was clean. Very busy but there was always someone to help me and answer my questions. Great staff! I will be backUpdate: 08/16/20 bought a large green terror cichlid, great price, beautiful healthy fish. Very busy there, but staff always made time to answer questions and help customers. I watched the owner and an employee help different customers by giving them media and water from cycled tanks to seed their new ones. Awesomeness!

Cool lil shop but priced to gouge customers. They have a 10 gallon aquarium setup for 279$ filter and everything you need.can get same thing at petco for like 70$. I try and shop small business but dont have deep enough pockets.

Went looking for axolotls. Found one. Poor baby was in a BETTA CUBE. Supposed to be 8 months and only 3-4 inches long. No hide or anything. Super skinny. And they want $50 for the poor thing. Saw multiple dead fish, crabs, etc. Very suspicious that they have signs to their backroom saying no pictures, no video etc. I didnt go back there because I was afraid of what I would see. All the other animals, like rabbits, birds, and others were in incredibly tight, compact living spaces. Made me so sad to go there.

Really cool aquatics place. Their koi selection is outstanding. They have a lot of unique tank styles that are not commonly seen in big box stores or even most local stores. They also carry birds and reptiles but the fish are the star attraction.

I think if you are in search of a pet thats not commonly found in your local big chain stores then youll be satisfied here. They have some of the most diverse and unique animals available anywhere within the Houston area. They practically have everything youll need from a pet store. However I would avoid buying some of their marine animals. Ive bought several over a period of a few months and the quality and health of the animals was always poor even in comparison to big chain stores. Most didnt make it past a day in my experience either because they had poor genetics or were mistreated from the start. If youre a veteran fish keeper be careful what you get here because while their selection might be great the fish themselves might not be so great.
