The reviews are true.7hrs of waiting and 1 hr for unloading. Check in only 10 min. before your appt. time and then you will see 10 trucks ahead of you waiting for the dock. The line goes by arrival time.( it will be written on your papers) Make sure you talk to the yard guy who organize the line there. Good luck!

Best advice!!!! Stay away from this place.Brought a load from Mesquite, TX.My appt was set for 18:00, got here on time, they finished unloading me at 2AM next day, 8hrs. Very unorganized. Ask who is the last driver in line, if not someone is going to cut you out.Pepsico(PEP) need to improve

A physical fight broke out in the parking lot between 2 drivers over who was next in line to hit the dock.This place is no joke and folks will fight to cut in front of you. Its the wild wild west when you get over there

I had very bad experience when I pickup my first and (for sure) LAST load from this company.This is how they are doing business. The loader load the merchandise. If he spend his 10 extra minutes and put the air bags then the drive not suffer. LA location refuse to off load. My driver is off loading by himself with pallet jack?

Come in from Central Street for Shipping & Receiving. Read the piece of paper with the rules. After backing into the dock chock wheel, slide tandems to rear, let down landing legs & unhook red airline. Dont disconnect. The go into the break room down the hall 2nd door on the right you check in. Place is very disorganized to say the least. Flying J about 3 miles away.

The employees I dealt with for business during my visits have all been very pleasant and great to work with. Looking forward to my next service visit to help keep production going smoothly.There was a nice lonely dog outside... I wanted to take him home. I hope whichever employee rescued him from the parking lot gave him a good home!

Beware: huge potholes on road outside. One just bent a trailer tire rim. The right turn out onto the frontage road. Load was way heavier than the bills say.

Picked up a load of bottled water in Houston Saturday. Had to deliver it Sunday in Tulsa Oklahoma. Houston is not properly securing the load with airbags or proper rap per each pallet. This is a warehouse to Warehouse load. Also will not restart the pallets that are damaged. The Outsource company driver has to re stack it.

I went to this place twice (2nd time unluckily) both time took 7 hours to get loaded. The loaders looking for lunch money to load me quickly after 5 hours on dock. Definitely I dont want to go to this place again and wouldnt recommend to do businesses with them.

Expect to get layovered , i have 9 hours since i checked in they move me from gate to gate 3 times , and they have not finish a job that they require lumper , you are paying for the lumper ( people ready ) and they are not ready , its a scam all over the place , again 9 hours and they have not finish i expect to be here all the day .

I do not like leaving bad reviews, but I feel compelled. Because I still cant believe this is the Pepsi that I have liked...I suppose I would minimize my involvement and switch to coke rather.So, I was supposed to have an interview at this facility today at 7 am, to no avail. I arrived at 6:20 am; a 45-minute drive from my residence. I was informed that somebody at the front office should show up at 7. So I waited. I also called the office number at this location and realized the office does not even open until 8 am. So finally my last resort was to call the 877 number. Though the number was for cancellation only, I figured maybe someone a person could tell me how to proceed. Well, as soon as she found out what I was there for, her words were, you are late!! So I tried to explain to her that I was there at 6: 20 am and even talked to a guy named Kenneth (a merchandiser) who was there for a meeting. Anyhow, so disappointed, and upset--they know you need a job, and thus, they do not care to make an effort to coordinate. What a waste of time, effort, and gas. And a horrible weather too (2/20)I could have used my time to finish my papers. I

I thought the dock workers were fast here. I was unloaded in 2 hrs and the written procedures were clear.

All this bad reviews are false..I had a 3pm pick up appointment and I was concerned about all the reviews, so I showed up at 9am and guess what? I had a door by 930 am and was out by 1015am..OAN If you are rude and disrespectful guess whos getting loaded/unloaded quicker...Thank you Pepsi employees for your service..

This is the most unprofessional loading facility Ive ever been at. Im a professional driver and got here with a 8hr drive clock. Now I have no time to get any where. 5 doors to load and 2 not working. This company needs a real shipping person.....after day supervisor left then things started to move. Trucks loaded in and out. The thing I noticed was docks not utilized to many doors taken up and not used to there pretenchel for loading and unloading. Dock space cluttered with product forklift drivers spending way to much time waiting on other forklifts to move so one can get to his trailer. There is no pre staging of loads. Forklift operators have to get a sheet and go to a pile to put his product on his truck. This place needs twice the area it has. There is way to much product damage and unorganized use of space.... this location could use a military supply officer to come in and straighten out the place....trucks should be in and out in minutes not the hole day. A tractor trailer takes up a lot of space and when there are 5 in line waiting on 5 doors and only 3 are being used and putting Pepsi trucks ahead of those in a line theres the problem. When they have 6 docks and only 3 used... this facility has 11 docks that I could see. Probably more i didnt see and of the 11 mostly 5 went un used. Yard dog should never stop moving. This company is trash. The products they make are poison. PepsiCo destroys much rainforest and animal habitat and kills tigers and orangutans for profit of palm oil. Working for Pepsi is terrible they dont care about human life they over work you and they have unrealistic expectations and dont pay enough. They dont understand psychological stress they put their workers through. Dont work here you will hate it. They made me drive 100 miles a day unpaid milage and 2 hours a day unpaid time. This company is a disgrace to the human race. If you work as a merchandiser you will get in trouble often for the salesman over ordering. Coke tastes better too even though its also poison.

Bad place for unloading and loading 6/7 hours of waiting

Had a interview with Andy Boswell for the electro-mechanical technician position, and I can’t help but to think I was discriminated against. Ironic that he didn’t see my resume, but automatically disqualified me from the job, telling me I’m not there yet. I have 4 and a half years of experience in mechanical engineering. I was a machinist mate in the United States Navy. I’m not sure if he felt a way because I was a black female applying for a job that he said was his “highest position” as if there was no way that I could be quailified for such a position. When I asked how many women were in the position for which I was applying he circled around the question and finally stated that he had no one that were electo mechanical technicians. I could go into further detail about the conversation we had because I do remember verbatim what he said, but I’m sure karma would come back around and get him. He was very wrong, and unprofessional. There should not be a man like that in the hiring process.

My Rate Confirmation with broker said 7am appt. Got here at 7am and they dont open till 8am. They made me get off the property because my appointment was for 10am so I came back at 10am. There is No Parking in Street or Gravel Area by the Park you will get fined by HPD or DOT that hangs out in the area. PEPSI IS A VERY DIRTY & SMELLY PLACE. There break room smells like piss. Restrooms are nasty, no hand sanitizer and no soap at all. Very unsanitary place and unorganized....

These people are the rudest, why do you treat the drivers like sub humans every chance you get? Many times they decide if they dont like and you can sit on their dock for as much as 4-5 hours. Just imagine if all these pepsi people were treated the same way, do unto others.

This place is so unorganized. I had a interview here that was scheduled for 6p.m. I took two buses and arrived at the front office at 5p.m. I spoke with a lady at the desk and told her I was here for a interview for 6 oclock. She called to verify my appoinment but nobody was there to answer her call. So I showed her the E-mail I had received. So she tried to call again, but still nobody answered her calls. She decided to just let me into the gate and told me to stand there and ask any employee where I need to go because she really wasnt sure. After asking a few employees that passed by I was finally able to get some direction on where I should go. I finally got some answers and a employee walked me to the break room area and went to inform a supervisor that I was there for my interview. Now at this time its 5:30 and I have 30 mins to spare. Im sitting in the break room area thinking Im glad I left my house early. So Im waiting on them. 6 oclock comes around and a supervisor comes and greets me and now my Interview process is about to start. The supervisor took me into the office and let me watch a 10 minute video. Then after that I had to do a hands-on interview just stacking sodas onto a pallet, reading the work order, doing proper lifting techniques and working at a fast and steady pace. I did a really good job on my hands-on interview process. Overall I did great by overcoming the obstacles I had to go thru just have my interview and still was on time with 30 minutes to spare, that I must point out again. Long story short, I headed back home its beginning to rain at this point, but I didnt care I was excited that I had success in getting my Interview completed in a timely manner. A few days later I get the E-mail saying thank you for your interest with PepsiCo but we found other applicants that best suite our needs. Needless to say that I felt crushed and defeated. And Im still feeling the same way currently. Make America great again doesnt apply to honest hard working African Americans.
