Had an accident a couple months ago where another car hit the front left bumper on my car. I found this body shop through my insurance All State and they told me they were certified to work with them. WOW! Really couldnt believe what my eyes saw when I picked up my car, it was just incredible how beautiful they left my car. Really thankful with Marvin, Steve and all the staff that work there, they really know what theyre doing. I would definitely recommend you take your car to them in case you need some body work done. Steven was incredible to work with. I have a 1995 Jeep Wrangler yj restoration project that I am doing. Steven helped with with the frame replacement and many other upgrades that were needed. I was a bit suspect of how many good reviews this shop has (most mechanics dont get good reviews due to the unwanted/sudden expense of the situation).But I must agree, they do outstanding work, that exceeded expectations. I have an old Bronco that Ive worked hard to restore, but still has many flaws. Not only did they find the issue I brought it in for (with the loud clunking noise, coming form a not common problem) , they also fixed more than expected issues with my body panels and hood. Marvin was outstanding in explaining the work that was done and the very fair price. Also the work was done faster than expected. I highly recommend this shop.

The men were very nice at excel and they did great work to my bumper. My only con is that the communication about the quotes are poor. As a woman who knows nothing about cars was sent a quote via email. I read one price on the email but because i didnt see the pdf i was completely caught off guard by the actual price when the car was ready. When i first dropped off my car, they never went over the price to confirmI was just told to sign papers. I blame myself as well for not asking. I was then accused by the owner of lying about my knowledge of the price. I was told you mean to tell me you thought we would do all that work for you for 165.00? I was completely hurt and instantly upset to tears. Embarrassing as it may sound i actually was ignorant to the fact of parts pricing on cars because this was the first repair i ever personally took care of on my own. Men back home would always help me out that area. Being in a different state I realized i should have done better research and asked more questions. I felt taken advantage of and depressed because i ended up having to pay so much money during Christmas holidays unexpectedly. Christmas unfortunately became a bare one. The owner did work with me on the payment and i appreciated it. If not i would have definitely been without a car for awhile. Just better communication for the female clients would be a plus. Confirming pricing in store would be a plus. Other than that, they do great car work.

This place is the best! They were recommended by Clear Choice. I knew I could trust them to take good care of my Lexus RX 350. Beverly was very cordial and helpful. Marvin was awesome! He kept me informed and had to do a lot of research to find the right parts.My car looks new! I hope I never need to use them again but I definitely will and I highly recommend them.

For years they have taken care of my vehicles

I had to choose a shop in the Allstate network after an 18 year-old hit me, and Excel was a stab in the dark based solely on reviews. I now feel really lucky to have had them repair extensive front-end damage. I was amazed to see a car that looked new, after being heartbroken for weeks over the accident. A few weeks later I started hearing a strange noise under the carriage, and took it back. A technician checked it out thoroughly and couldnt find anything. The manager told me to bring it back the following week. They were apparently very busy then, but the owner took pity on me and checked it out himself straightaway. He got behind the wheel, drove a few feet and immediately diagnosed what would have stumped most mere mortals in the business. This is one of those instances where experience really matters I imagine. He had them fix me up and sent me on my way, a happy woman. And the issue was likely not even accident or repair related. Again so glad chose I this place, it was a pleasure dealing with Steve. Would highly recommend!

I just had the best experience at Excel for repairs to my Lexus IS-250. I have never taken my car anywhere other than Lexus for repairs until now. Thankfully a friend told me about Excel and I am so grateful. This place is great! I stopped by to show them the damages on a Tuesday around lunch time and received a comprehensive estimate by the time I got back to work. I dropped my car off the next morning and had it back in less than 48 hours looking just like new. I literally could not tell where the work had been done and the price was exactly as quoted. Steve, Marvin and Beverly were so professional and friendly; they have clearly been doing this work for a long time. I am so glad to have found this affordable, reputable car repair service. This is probably the best shop I have been to in Houston, and with a 13 year old car, I have been to several. I had major damage to one of my car doors (among other things) from an accident, and when I got my car back, it was like new!! Steven was so nice - not even 15min after I dropped my car off, he was already on the phone calling around for parts to fix it. He kept me updated through phone calls and texts over the next few days. The repairs were completed sooner than expected, and I received my car back cleaner than when I dropped it off (both inside and out). Great customer service, no hassles. Honestly, I typically dont write reviews. However, I must say that I am extremely happy with this particular shop. I took my Range Rover to about 3 different shops within the Houston area, concerning a noise I was hearing from the front end. I spent thousands of dollars and nobody was able to resolve it. I was at the point of trading the car in, until someone told me to try Excel Frame and Front. The owner Steve was extremely nice and I could tell he had passion for his work. He told me to leave the SUV with him, and promised me he was going to find the noise. He actually did the next day! I paid so little for this, compared to other places I had visited prior that took my money and changed parts I didnt need. I am just grateful!

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! My splash guard had lost a couple screws and I had collected a couple of them and let them know and to see if they would be able to replace extra screws and repair the splash guard. Not only did they repair the splash guard but the couple screws that I had found were broken so they replaced all 25 screws for free! Everyone at this office was so friendly and if I ever need any work done on my car, I will be going here! I still cannot get over how incredibly nice these people were, and they definitely restored my faith in all humanity! Kindest people ever and they do a wonderful job!

Excel exceeded expectations in every way and everyone there was very polite. I brought my Jeep in on a Monday and was told that the work would likely be finished on Thursday, which I thought was a quick turnaround time. I recieved texts and a phone call the very next day, notifying me that my vehicle was ready to pick up. THEY HAD IT READY IN LESS THAN 24 HRS!!! I go back to pick it up Tuesday afternoon - painless. And to add a cherry on top, theyd fully detailed my jeep. Ill definitely be back if I ever need additional work.

The team at Excel Frame is the epitome of professionalism. I recently went to get my Honda Civics passenger side mirror and camera fixed. It was fixed quickly, but after I picked up the car, the camera still was not functioning because Honda had special technology to calibrate it. I brought the car back and they ordered a $1000 part from Honda in order to calibrate it. They didnt ask me to pay for the part they had to order to get my camera functioning, they just fixed it. I will continue to use this business for all my cars needs. They run an honest business and do great work.

They worked on my F250 recently. I was very impressed not only with the quality work, but with awesome customer service from beginning to end. I have a 1962 Nova that several shops could not figure what was wrong with the front end. I was finally referred to Excel and gave them a call. Steve took my call and I explained the symptoms and he felt comfortable that they could handle this. They coordinated a towing company and got right on it when it arrived. The team here is excellent! I got into a fender bender a few month back and was given a list of options by the insurance agent. The first few repair shops provided, while closer, had really bad reviews and so I said, what else do you have. Excell popped up on the list and they had several stellar reviews. I immediately decided that would be the place to go to. Customer service was on great! Bev if you read this, Thanks! They handled all of the communication with the insurance company and provided me with daily status updates. At no point in time was I out of the loop with respect to the status of my car. Additionally, they advised me very well as to what my repair options would be. The work was excellent. You cant even tell there was damage. As an added bonus they completed the work a few days ahead of schedule.

I found this firm after Googling for an Acura-certified body repair shop near the Galleria, Houston. Marvin, the Estimator (and Shop Foreman) looked over the damage to my car & identified what needed to be done very quickly. His estimate seemed reasonable (what needed to be done as well as the price) so I decided to go ahead. I brought the car in next day and Excel Frames owner, Steve, drove me to the nearby Enterprise so i could pick up a rental car. I had a call from Marvin later that day to say that the price of the parts had gone up - a whopping $4. My Acura was ready when promised the following day and the price was exactly as I had been told. I was able to leave the rental car there for Enterprise to come pick up (very convenient!). Best of all - my car looks as good as new again! I am a very satisfied customer and would definitely take my car to them again for any body work. Thank you Excel!

Back in Nov. 18, I was unfortunately the last car hit in a chain reaction accident on 610 W (the guy who started it all was most likely on his phone or wasnt paying enough attention to see that traffic had come to a stop in front of him; he didnt even attempt to break before smashing into the first car). Among other damages, the left side of my cars bumper was split, had a lot of paint scratched off, and had a big eyesore of an indentation. In addition, the trunk was misaligned to the right, couldnt shut without using added force and had some dents on top as well. The left side taillights were slightly cracked too.Fast forward to June 19, I finally get around to getting the repairs needed on my car. The insurance company of the guy at fault recommended affiliated repair shops, so I did what any savvy consumer in this situation should do... I looked up a whole bunch of shops and read their reviews on various websites so that I could make an informed decision.The first shop that I went to was rated highly, but I wasnt received well when I went for an estimate. The next shop was Excel. I was already leery based on the vibe I got from the other shop, but Marvin turned out to be great to work with. We did a tour of the damages, and I was able to drop off my car on the same day. Marvin called in for my rental car, and one of the techs from the shop dropped me off to pick up the rental.During the repair process, I was kept up to date by Marvin, and he has great phone etiquette! Aside from that, one of the best parts is that when I pressed for an OEM bumper, Marvin negotiated for one by working with my cars dealership when the insurance company wanted to go for a salvaged bumper. He also smoothed out some unrelated dings on trunk of the car.When I picked up my car, I was very satisfied with the workmanship! Bumper replaced, dents and dings gone, misalignments were realigned, and the paint was matched, smooth and gleaming! I even went to the dealership where I purchased my car that same day for servicing, and the tech there asked if I had just bought my car o.0I can see why theyre called Excel... because they excel at what they do! Theyre even a certified Honda and Acura repair shop! If that doesnt clue you in on the quality of their work, I dont know what will. Any way, if youre looking for a great collision repair shop, give Excel a shot. From my experience, you wont be disappointed in their work!

This place steal stuff. Be sure to look thru your car when you pick up. They stole my trunk cover when I picked up after the repair. They didnt say anything till I found out couple months later. Theres no work done inside, I have no idea why they removed it. When I called, they said they dont know anything and will look for it. They returned phone call stating that they have it. But they still didnt explain the reason for removing it. After that Ive been busy, when I called to pick it up, they said you are lucky that we saved it. Excuse me? If yall dont remove it at first place, I wouldnt need to come get it. This is not a small accessory, it wouldnt be myself take it off my car and left it over there. Because of their stealing action, I had to waste my time, gas, and trip to pick up something belongs to me, I dont think I owe them a thank you! Be sure to look thru you vehicle to make sure all accessories are in place. THIS PLACE STEAL STUFF!

Its no exaggeration when I say this is the best body shop Ive ever been to, they really have your interest in mind. Just got my 2016 camry back from this body shop, and first and foremost I must say ,just wow! They did such an amazing job, my car was T-boned by a huge escalade which did severe damage to both passenger side doors as well as some damage to back wheel well. They are on point with giving you updates, breaking down costs, and getting you back on the road. Big thanks to Marvin for dealing with the insurance company he fought hard to make sure my car got what it needed when the insurance was trying to penny pinch, so thx for that sir.
