If your kid loves Pokémon this is the place to go. Many options from bulk cards up to high-end options. Many other collectibles available as well. Very friendly staff available to help. Highly recommend.

I love traveling to this shop tho… I do understand the comments about the grumpy owner! And my packs I’ve bought seem to be bent not necessarly gone through and have the right packaging on it! Lil more love for the customers and this would be an amazing shop!

I stopped in for a few minutes since im new in the area and it was pretty cozy in there, saw other people in there having a good time so it seems pretty inviting. The only real complaint if you can even call it that is some things, pokemon card wise, are pretty pricey. I understand this though as prices everywhere are expensive so it wasnt too bad. The owner was really nice and talkative with me and answered my questions fast and easily. Im glad I have a card store in my area that I can trust.

I try to support small business whenever I can but I absolutely will not ever be back to this place. Walked in with a signed football & without even asking who it’s signed by they said not interested. Employees I came into contact with were rude. Customer service doesn’t even deserve one star. Store is also cluttered beyond belief. It’s quite sad.

They have laserdiscs on the floor shoved underneath a shelf & so naturally I like to skim through them. I was told by an employee that this is totally fine. Last time I came in here about a month ago I did this only to hear what Sounded like E.T. being chased thru the forest only to be met by the owner, Shane. Shane scolded me like a 12 year old brat, “Don’t be touching my stuff!” I’ve made sure to tell everyone I know in Hopkins to stay away from this Guys stuff!! Complete lack of respect for the public.

If I could do 0 stars I would. Being a Pokémon card collector, these guys seemed to have a lot of booster boxes in stock and different variety packs. HUGE RIP OFF. Resealed the shrink wrap around the package, and definitely noticed once we open the individual packs we only pulled one VMAX out of 72 packs, 3 of the lowest level V cards, and one pack was missing an energy card. And even one pack had a card placed backwards in the pack. What a bunch of crooks. The owner also reeked of booze and cigarettes. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. I wish I would have taken pictures for proof.

Easily the greatest card store I have ever been to. There was even stuff for my mother (who is not into sports at all) in their massive selection of records and CDs. Such a shame it is so far away from where we live but we will make it work.

Absolutely the best vinyl shop and auction. I live in South Carolina and the majority of my collection has come from here. Not once have I been unsatisfied. Ultimate Collectibles are dead on the spot for grading. They are not just a business, they are family to their customers.

I like Ultimate Collectibles a lot. I only buy records from them, so I cant speak to their sports cards and memorabilia offerings (although they have a ton of those things). I am a big fan of their Wednesday and Saturday night record auctions, and those shows have really been important to me during the pandemic. A nice distraction from the world situation, even if it is only 10 hours out of the week. Their record grading is spot on, and they have a wide variety of genres.

AND THE WED AND SAT NIGHT AUCTIONS ARE ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS WE ALL HAVE SOOO MUCH FUN... THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING GREAT WITH ULTIMATE COLLECTIBLES!!!!!!!

Until this past weekend, I hadnt stepped into a sports memorabilia/ collectable card store since Shinders at Ridgedale was around. Ultimate Collectibles immediately brought back many fun memories and the staff was so welcoming. There is something here for everybody and I will definitely be back in the future. Shane (the owner) is very enjoyable to chat with if you have any questions. Eric was also helpful during the decision making on my purchase. If you are looking for some card store nostalgia, this is it. Ill be back soon!

Looking from the outside, I had NO idea what a huge selection of everything they had. New, old, obscure you name it. Its a little tight but no different than most vintage stores and dig deep enough and youll find that GEM that will bring you back to yester-year. Cant wait to go back.

Helpful & Honest bargainers! I brought in a large variety of professional sports cards handed down to me. Some cards were exposed (opened) & a few were unopened (packs/boxes). Im new to the collectable trading card game, so I asked for some knowledge & guidance on what kind of collection I had. They explained the gaps in time for the over-print years for the specific type of sport. They broke it all down & explained why. Told me to hold on to the unopened boxes because they will hold a higher value in the future. I appreciated learning about cards & their value, now I understand, itll come in handy with my son.

They have a huge collection of vinyl plus other collectibles. If they dont have the record you are looking for, they will have it soon.

Really really cool shop if youre into just sports collectibles. They had some pokemon and other tcg available in the cases, but were definitely focused on the sports. 100% worth the stop. Gloves are made to be put on once you enter. Space inside is pretty tight, but its packed with a bunch of cool stuff.

Ultimate collectibles is a great place to purchase anything collectible. I’ve purchased many vinyl records and have been super pleased with the price and grading. The grader is absolutely spot on if not over safe on the grades. I would highly recommend anyone to shop here.

A great little store in downtown Hopkins that has sports/gaming/entertainment cards, memorabilia, comics, and vinyl records.They have a great selection of sports cards both old and new. Their prices and selections for older cards (1980s to mid 1990s) cant be beat. Hidden gems can be found. They also have a ton of comic/tv/pop culture cards. Im not that familiar with vinyl but I know they get new shipments of them in all the time. Great overall!

I will update this 1 star review, per your request. You guys never have any cards in stock, and dont sell supplies to your local customers. I dropped $300 in your store and returned less than a week later to pick up 2 packs of penny sleeves and top loaders and you refuse to sell them to me without another purchase (you had virtually nothing in stock). You stated something along the lines of people are flipping top loaders and penny sleeves for $80 and you wont sell to flippers. Well, I am not a flipper. I just wanted to protect the cards I already bought (from you). Its all good, I will take my business to a different card store. There is a great one in Bloomington, and I dont mind driving the extra 15 min for a well stocked shop. Good Luck in your future endeavors.

Love this shop and the hobbies they are keeping alive. Ive been getting back into card collecting again since way back in the day and I was hoping to find a place like this - everything from the new, highly sought after items to old junk wax, they have singles and boxes/sets, supplies and gaming cards also. Records and posters for those folks.Its also nice to know they are doing what they can to help keep prices reasonable for real hobbyists. Theres a lot of people out there buying up and flipping items and even shady dealings by distributors that are pushing pricing up to insane levels right now. We need to do what we can to support those helping to keep the hobby affordable and fun for those of us with the passion for cards.Great shop! Check them out!

Went in last Sunday with my brother and brother-in-law. Talked with the Owner for awhile who was super nice! Great selection of old wax along with fair pricing on new wax with eBay comps. Look forward to coming back.

Always find what I need in supplies for trading card collections. Staff are super helpful and knowledgeable! Love getting my kids some vintage cards and havent found them anywhere else. I also love the music collection. I keep coming back for more!

Shane is always there to greet you like an old friend. all the staff there Dave, Shawn are great also. I have always found records that I haven;t found at other places at great prices. But they need to get somemore classicals and 78s which would be awesome.

My son and I go here at least every other week. The guys pay attention to what youre looking for but also give you space to browse. My 7 year old asks a billion questions and all the guys give him the total treatment and talk with him about different things in the store. I love this place because it has the same vibe as the family owned card stores of the 90s!

This is one of the best used records stores Ive been to in the Twin Cities. Its flanked by other, better known record stores on the same street so not people seem to know about this place (that might be a good thing!). This place has a huge record collection in great condition and at amazing prices.They also have a really cool comic book collection. A lot of the comics are rare, hard to find and somewhat unknown: very cool!They also have baseball cards and other trading cards, but I dont know much about that area. Go check this place out!
