Great service. I went in with a tire issue with little knowledge of what tire would be the best fit for the best price. The lady at the front desk greeted me with a smile at the door. She was very knowledgeable and kind. She actually helped put my mind at ease in a frustrating situation. Highly recommend NTB-Hoover.

Brought my car in for an oil change and brake check, was unaware they were going to rotate my tires. Tires ended up needing to be balanced and when I brought it back for them to correct this, they said they wouldn’t, and the only thing they could do was “put the tires back where they were.” Had to go to express oil change to get them balanced. Terrible service.

Currently understaffed like everywhere else but not a bad place for service.

Getting oil change on my Kia Rio is a headache cause of filter and for some reason synthetic oil is expensive. I needed one quick today and Jackie here at NTB is my hero. Very much recommend them!

Wife and I were traveling through and had a flat. Nail in the middle of tire. Literally a simple prob 20-30 minute repair if that . Her car doesn’t use a spare it just has the air up kit to get you somewhere. Got there at 4:30 and they close at 6 and lady said they couldn’t help me. That they didn’t have time. I would’ve paid some kind of emergency fee if I had to! Luckily Pep Boys offered to help us even if it went after hours. Will never go to a NTB again.

I made an appointment on last Friday for this location and I see that they are temporarily closed. I wish that I could’ve gotten a courtesy call or something! I’m headed out of town and desperately needed my tires! So frustrating!

I came in to get my tires and brakes done but didnt have an appointment. After waiting for sometime I was told that without an appointment it sometimes takes longer than normal which I sort of already knew. Seeing that I was a little upset about this the guy at the counter Calvin I believe definitely stepped in and made things happen. He told me that if I came in around 9 then he would take care of it for me and the following day before I could even make it to the door he came out and grabbed my keys and took care of me. Thats what service is all about!

Good help is hard to find. I’m giving Zack 5 stars for super great customer service. He fixed somebody’s else work. Wheel alignment and tire balance. Zack is the manager and always remember good help is hard to find.

So our vehicle stopped about a block from the Hoover NTB and of course we called State Farm Roadside to give us a tow that never showed up by the way but manager Zack brought us a battery. Swiping my card for a purchase has never been so sweet. His customer service was outstanding he went above and beyond and his actions were extremely neighborly.

Great experience. I ordered online. The tires were in stock and I got a weekday appointment two hours later. The car was ready on time, as promised, that day.Most auto shops wait for you to call and pester them to see if your car is ready. Colton called me as soon as it was ready, which was very helpful, especially on a Monday afternoon.He also noticed a billing error on our online order and was able to correct it, saving us a considerable amount of money. Who does that these days? Colton does, that’s who.Very pleased with NTB.

The wait was too long. There was only two technicians working. So, I received a appointment, for 1:00pm Monday.

GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! While out today picking up dinner for my wifes Birthday I got a nail in my tire on the way. It was late in the evening and I was worried I wouldnt be able to get repaired. I called NTB at the Riverchase Galleria and Zach said bring it on in and well repair it. He said it might be a bit of a wait though. When I got there I think he sensed my stress because he immediately took my keys and got one of his guys on it and within a half hour I was back on the road. Zachs customer service was so great and I look forward to bringing all my vehicles to NTB in the future! Big Props to Zach!!

I called about an advertised tire sale and was quoted a reasonable price. When I went in to get the tires installed, customer rep figured a total that was a little less than quoted, then re-figured a different package, still with the same tires, that cost even less and offered more service features. Actual installation was very quick, even less time than they estimated. Altogether a very positive experience.

Ray is awesome! This morning my husband ran into a pothole, so I was given the task of getting 2 new tires. Since I’m female I was expecting to be told that I needed 4 new tires plus alignment. Ray checked the tire tread and he only sold me what I needed (2 front tires). Ray also didn’t automatically say I needed an alignment...he said he was going to put the tires on first and then see if the car needs an alignment. So nice to finally find a trustworthy place.

I came in to get a set of new tires. I was offered a set of BF Goodrich tires and a 4 wheel alignment for a great price. I was there for about 2 hours. I am one that likes to watch whats happening with my vehicle. I stood at the opening of the shop, just outside, and observed good ten minute stretches where nothing was happening with my vehicle at all. There was no sense of urgency in getting the job done. You wouldnt be able to tell there was no urgency when it came to my interior.I didnt notice until I got into my vehicle that I have grease/dirt is multiple areas. The headliner, seats, and certain dash panels have grease and dirt that I had to purchase upholstery cleaner to remove. I am not happy with the carelessness of the techs pertaining to my interior. I also could not find my lug lock afterward. This morning, I found it left under my hood near the latch after noticing a rattling sound. Again, not happy with the carelessness. However, the tires are nice and provide a quiet and smooth ride that I was hoping for.All in all, I would possible shop elsewhere to compare the amount of time youll spend here and to save your interior.

Joel is the best! Ask for him when you go in. Im a woman, and any woman can tell you how were hustled to get everything fixed when we go to get out oil change. But hes never done that. Its always resourceful and quality information. Hes the most knowledgeable, professional, and laid back guy in this industry.

They do a good job with attempting to negotiate with coupons and adding extra expenses by giving a 10% discount. However, its a challenge for them to get you in and out in a timely fashion. Especially when you have lifetime road hazard, or some other service that you have prepaid like tire rotation. Be prepared to be there well over two and a half hours.

I had my tires rotated, wheel alignment checked and oil changed. Only one minor complaint - I asked for the technician to assess my rear brake pads and rotors. He addressed the front brakes but did not comment on the rear brakes.Calvin - the gentleman who waited on me provided excellent customer service! He did an wonderful job representing NTB.

My sister went in there yesterday to check her brakes. Shaun checked it out and said that her struts were leaking and causing her a problem. Price tag $2,000. I told her to think about it and come back if she needed to since Christmas was just over and money was low. She gets her car back and goes to another tire dealer close by and they checked it.Turns out that her struts were NOT leaking and all she needed was a front end alignment and 2 new tires on the front. Total was $300.00.I hate it when people take advantage of others that are not familiar with the operation of a vehicle. I will never shop at NTB and am going to report them to the BBB if I can figure out how to file a damn complaint.Be careful, they dont sound too honest. Just saying.

They had to rework some bad parts installed from a other ntb in south carolina....they was very helpful and nice....quick as possible...only thing that sucked was the more price on the upgraded parts...

The NTB team At Riverchase Galleria is amazing. They are very knowledgeable about my vehicles and discuss preventative maintenance instead of waiting until something breaks. They give me options and they always meet me with a smiling face. I really appreciate them.

Noah is the best. I’m was coming through Birmingham from Florida on a road trip and I had a blowout. I Called Ntb Galleria and Noah got me in put a set of tires for a nice price hand me in and out about a hour.I recommend if you go ask for noah he is a great guy.

My father and I brought two vehicles up there just a couple of days ago. One needed a plug for a tire and another needed a tire replaced. We’ve been customers for years, so we got the complimentary rotate and balance. After we waited four hours, we finally get a call. They of course try to sell us on unnecessary things, so we just tell them to worry about the things we had told them.Two days later, we find out they didn’t even replace the tire that was flat. Air had been pumped into it so it looked okay. My dad just called and informed me that it was completely flat. Needless to say, after the thousands we have dumped to this place, we will no longer be coming back.Worry about the customer’s needs first before trying to make extra money on unnecessary things.

A place of hardworking individuals, who were very accommodating and knowledgeable. Mr. Noah was very welcoming as soon as I walked through the door and got the job done for me.

Needed a quick oil change & didnt want to wait forever at Walmart so I went to NTB. They were fast & to the point & didnt try to push a bunch of other services on me. They did inform me that my tires were bald & the pressure was low but when I told them Id just get that fixed when I went home (to Charlotte) they said okay & left it at that. Such a lovely quality for mechanics.

Never again! I have 3 cars that I have had oil changes performed here for the past few years. I have bought several sets of tires here. Never any problems until today. Called the day before to make an appointment for an oil change. Showed up on time to have services performed only to have the service writer say that they cant give me their advertised basic oil change for $19.99. They can only use a synthetic blend in my 2012 Jeep Liberty which cost $55.00. They have always used conventional oil in the past. Something has changed here. Asked to speak with the manager and he was not there. They have lost a good customer.

First, Id like to say my overall experience wasnt bad. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. He had a smile on my face, called when my car was done like he said he would, and was very professional.I didnt have an issue until I got into my vehicle. I looked at my driver door and it was very obvious that someone with greasy shoes had pushed my door open multiple times as I now have a large amount of grease stains on my door. Second, the items in my passenger seat were scrambled around like they had been shuffled through.I think Ill stick to the Alabaster location.

I always make an appointment so I dont have to wait too long. They always do a great job on my car. My recent visit is the reason for only 4 stars. Service was great but the waiting area was disgusting. And covered in ants!

Crooked place that makes up problems to either try and upsell or or reason they cant perform certain services. Never going to. NTB again for any of my personal business and will be canceling contract for our fleet vehicles at work.

I called and it seemed like the individual that answered was not helpful at all, and did not want to be helpful. I have utilized this facility several times in the past. With no problems at all and great customer service. It seems like the employees there have changed, and not to the better. Im sure my needs can be met at another business. So sorry but bye.

I hit a pot hole on the i-65 South to I-459 exit and popped a tire. I slowly made it to NTB and they jacked up my car and swapped it out for my spare and didnt even charge me.I cant speak to the cost of their new tires, but their customer service was top notch when I was in a bind.

So had 2 rear tires replaced a year ago.When I picked up the truck the tires had some kinda residue on the...salesman said that should have been washed off.That should have been a red flag.I took it home and wahed them up.On the trip home I noticed the low tire pressure light was on. I called the salesman and he said it would reset in a few miles. It didnt.I took it back the next day and the mechanic told me that the low pressure tire sensor was not working on one of the tires he changed. He explained to me that the battery must have just died.I believed him since I knew nothing about LPTS. Now I do. What he told me was total bull.

I went into to inquire about a brake job. I had a competitors coupon from Firestone, on Montgomery Highway, who I have used before. The cost was $99.99 plus tax and 6% parts charge which was all mentioned up. When I went to NTB I asked do you expect competitors coupons and they said yes. They took the car in and the called and said the job would be over $200. I asked them about the competitors coupon and they said they didnt stock semi-metallic pads and that they only carried ceramic. I said $110 for brakes pads and after bickering around for a while he said he had ceramic pads for $79 but they were not as good. They then told me they still couldnt match the competitor because they were not given ceramic brake pads. Then the car needed rotors and they quoted me $110 per rotor and they only costs at AutoZone $69 but I understand the mark up but not 100%. The agreed to discount those down to $99. I agreed to the work. When I went to pick up the car the was an additional $35 shop fee and when asked about that they said every shop charges a shop fee. I never heard of it. The next day I called my Firestone shop and they told me that they would replace the brake pads for $99 to the same manufactures specs which were ceramic. I went to Firestone and believe me when I tell you the bill came to $107, pads plus tax and they were ceramic pads, I have the box. I went to NTB and demanded a refund and gave them back their pads. The savings was close to $100. I to worked with the over weight dude with the beard and was taken advantage of and lied to as they told me they would match the competitor and they didnt as well as telling me every place has a shop charge. Dont use them as they lie to you and will charge for things that another shop doesnt. Use Firestone on Montgomery. They are very courteous and respectful and will give you a complete estimate of all the costs, in writing, before they start the work.

My son had a flat tire on side of the freeway called around to find places that had the size we needed in stock NTB had one in our size I told them the situation and they told me to bring it in and the would mount the tire so we could get back on the road. I surely Thank them it took a little more than 30 min. we were back out to the car and on the road Thanks Marcus

DO NOT GO HERE. I went in for a simple brake job. It was done poorly and they also broke my hubcap. They have still yet to fix it. Ive wasted over $500 in lost gas and time driving back and forth to get this fixed. They are incompetent and will not make things right when they screw up your vehicle. Go somewhere else. Ive even spoke with their corporate office and they could care less.

I will never ever use them again I went to go get my car serviced with car max like I do every year. And I had to get a lug nut put on my tire that is hazard and could have broken my entire driving system. Due to ntb replacing my tire after a nail got caught in it. No one in the service area inform me and didnt even attempt to mention or replace. God forbid if something would have happen with me driving with my small kids..

Always very polite to both myself and my wife. They dont pressure to buy goods or services that are not required.

I visited this location due to shopping for tires online and the one closet to my home did not have the tires in stock. When we arrived they did not have the tires either and ONLY had more expensive ones. Due to a tight schedule we went ahead and got the tires but it took forever for them to put them on. They had very bad attitudes towards other customers, I will not go back again.

Customer service isnt one the most important things to some of the employees at this location. I took my mothers vehicle in for brake service today. I had to leave it and was called once the inspection completed. Once returning to the store i went to the counter and the guy that waited on me earlier saw me and went to the back of the store. After standing there for at least 10.mins another customer came in after me and he came back up front and waited on him first. After waiting on him thats when he told me my car would be finish within a hour. I told him I was standing there because I wanted more service done to my vehicle not to see when my vehicle would be done. After that experience I decided to take my car to dealership for the other service which wouldve been an alignment, balance and new wiper blades.

We went to ntb their store number is #8627 for a vibration in my front brakes,they came back to me with a est for over $2000 saying i needed front pads ,rotors,rear brake pads rotors, and shocks/struts,,we didnt think that sounded right ,so we went to one of the havoline xpress lubes and had their tech check the car out,,IT TURNED OUT ALL WE NEEDED WAS THE ROTORS TURNED,,NO WE DIDNT NEED FRONT OR REAR BRAKES OR SHOCKS/OR STRUTS...SO FORALL THE PEOPLE IN ALABAMA PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS PLACE ,, JUST THINK OF HOW MANY PEOPLE THEY DO THIS TO,,WE EVEN CALLED THE MANAGER AND HE GAVE ALINE OF BULL....IM SURE IT WAS BECOUSE THE PERSON THAT DROVE THE CAR IN WAS A LADY THATS WHY THEY DID IT,,,,THANKS ,,,,WATCH OUT FOR THIS KIND OF PEOPLE,,,WE ALL WORK HARD FOR OUR MONEY,DONT NEED THIS TO HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE,,TO LINE A TECHS POCKET

Did good job on work but customer service was awful and front desk worker was rude. I was appalled when a lady came in with a flat asking for help putting on a spare and they said it would cost her some ridiculous amount. No one there offered to help the poor woman so I changed her tire in their parking lot myself. Its sad there seems to be no REAL GENTLEMEN left in the world.

My wife went in for a $20 oil change but the bill was $53. Will never use these guys again.

Dont. even. think about it. I spent the whole day with my brother, practically stranded in Hoover, with his car. I was not in the mood. Today, Saturday December 6, 2014, we went to NTB because of an emergency tire replacement, of Pirelli P225/55R18s on the front end, from a misalignment - wires showing through the side walls. They were the ONLY place in Birmingham that had the tires, and the cheapest on the tires themselves.Why am I mad? Mostly attitude, but that attitude makes me think maybe they werent very straightforward, and possibly dishonest.First reason is they tell us the reason the front right tire was out of alignment was all four tires struts were leaking. Service Advisor they said. What doesnt make sense is why only the front end had alignment issues.Because they were not too courteous. They were jocular. The fat guy with the beard instead of just sticking to the facts. The attitude of this dude was Haha youre screwed without us! He first said something that was a smart alec remark, which I responded to by saying You can fix it if youll do it for free. He then responded trying to push a 12 month no interest credit promo on my brother as well, in a very disrespectful tone... He was also throwing paper airplanes around, whispering and joking about complainers in front of all of us customers in the lobby (which included a couple of younger ladies around our age or younger). No class. If ONLY Tire Engineers had these tires, I would have led my brother to leave.The total bill for two tires, road hazard, was $397 for a Ford Five-Hundred, 2007 model.Simply put, you do NOT disrespect my younger brother in front of me. Hes going through enough as it is, and while hes an adult and can handle his own self, when I see wrong, I dont let it go unchallenged. If it had been thats the price and left it at that, chances are, Id not have rated this a one-star.After getting home, I also see a TON of OTHER one-star reviews, which tells me, that this is a place thats known to not be that great. It was interesting, as I didnt see a single customer in that place with a smile on their face. People are not delighted to be disrespected.What is missing in business today is, humanity. Human needs are so easy to take care of, but is often the least cared for need in retail and customer service. For a big shiny retail logo and image, there is a lack of substance.

Horrible customer service, over priced, waiting room and restroom needs to be upgraded, employees on cellphone, and it take for ever to get something fixed....Stay away...Dont bother speaking with corporate ..the people there speak to you any kind of way. I should have read the reviews first. I will never shop here again.

Service was as bad as reviews make it appear. Dropped off vehicle and asked how long,they said 1.5hrs, 2.5hrs later I returned and they hadnt even started. Poor management of customer flow.

Called and the guy over the phone wasnt helpful. Hard to get straight answers when theyre always quoting prices with EXTRA useless warranties.

Dissing TB needs a total restructuring from upper management down to middle management. In video games and Facebook shouldnt be allowed at work when people are waiting 2 hours just to pull a nail out of a tire and Patch it. or they drop their vehicle off and in 24 hours they come back and they still cant get anything done like a simple oil change. Ridiculous

STAY AWAY! Absolute worst service I have ever received. They placed an order for a single tire for me on Monday and told me they would call me on Thursday when it is ready for install. Thursday comes and no phone call. I call them and they inform me the tire will be in Friday. I call Friday and after being on hold 20 minutes they tell me they will check for the tire and call back. I never received a call back Friday. so I call on Saturday. I was put on hold and told again they will call back. Finally, they call back after an hour and say the tire is in. I schedule an appointment for the same day. They told me it takes 30 minutes to install. After waiting for 2 hours, they finally installed the tire. There are so many alternate options- Avoid NTB galleria.

At times their service is ok. At other times it is terrible like leaving lug nuts off after rotating my tires.

Staff was friendly, and they fixed my problem.

Terrible service. It took over two hours for a scheduled oil change with no one else in the building. I wouldnt go here for anything, especially if its something more tasking than an oil change. And they pull the usual you need an alignment and this and that.
