I have been with AAA over 30 years and would never ever consider hitting the road without them. The services that they provide, towing if your car has mechanical problems, flat tires, overheating, dead batteries and almost any situation that can cause you to have a bad day when you are out and about. The services dont stop there, vacation planning they got it covered, need a hotel, rental car and help with booking flights they got you! Locked out of your car they got you covered, need insurance the list of services are mind blowing. The most important thing that the company has provided in my time with them is dependability for over 30 years and many thousands of miles of travel they have never failed to help!

Wonderful service.There was no waiting and the notary was extremely polite and helpful.We had two documents notarized in less than 10 minutes.Parking was just outside the door.

Today I was caught in a snag, I was working and had to be at my next appointment but my battery had died. I called triple A and within the hour they sent out Garret who gave me a charge and told me exactly what the problem was. I ended up buying a battery which turned out to be cheaper than what I was gonna get. Garrett showed me the issue, and replaced it all within thirty minutes, super nice guy and gave me some water too. Great customer service!

After a 14 hr flight to Oahu.,we rented a car from Enterprise. We had a 1 hour ride to our Air BNB. After unpacking we were hungry and tired want and a early dinner. Upon going to car we had a flat tire. We called Enterprise,waited 1 12 hrs with no response. We called back and were told knowone would drive that far to help us.They said they use AAA ..I changed the tire...NOT how I wanted to start my vacation!!! About 24hrs later AAA called to see if we wanted help... AGAIN WE WERE 1 HOUR AWAY !! And they wouldnt come.Iwill be canceling AAA

Be careful when buying the battery replacement service. Somehow the purchase doesnt show up when you need to replace a bad battery. Paying double $ for a battery is a rip off.

On big island hours and sometimes, hours and hours and hours. Out of 4 service calls two were acceptable service times of less than 2 hours. One other was hours and hours. The 4th never came after 6hrs

Had to get a rental car due to a medical emergency. This office worked hard to get me what I needed and save me as much as they could. They were very helpful and friendly.

6+ hours wait n still no tow truck..starter died call at7pm n now it’s 12am AAA SAID AT 7pm a tow truck will b their In 1hr, called back at 8pm guess what we have to wait another hour, called at 9 then same bs driver will be their at 10, call at 10 now driver will be their at 12:30am never buy this scam insurance, called o’sung and even them don’t even know when a driver will show up so I will have to wait 8+ hours to get my car towed!!! What a rip off NEVER BUY AAA just use progressive or another island towing company..that $100+ u spent on aaa could pay for a tow company to get ur car ASAP

If I could rate 1 star I would simply because they use 808 towing in Maui. I have never had such horrible customer service as I did from 808 towing!

The phone number leads to a completely automated service. You cannot get in touch with a person without knowing specific extensions. All the information left on the automated system can be found online. Dont you think that maybe if I found what I was looking for online I wouldnt bother calling? There are many questions that have nuance and specificity that require a live person to answer. Now I have to leave work to go to the store to get a simple question answered.

Read to the end: First of I’m not insured with AAA but I had an incident with a driver that does. That was back in June or July, can’t even recall since it’s mid October and nothing has been done. He bumped my car in a parking lot and we exchanged info. He reported it to AAA and assumed responsibility. It took my insurance month and a half to be able to speak to Brandon Williams their claims agent. He had to contact me but never did. I called and left several messages w/ no call back. I left a nasty message and he finally called back blaming me for not leaving my claim number and call back number which I did (aggressive phone tactics 101). Got an estimate and he told me he’d call back. He never did. Left message and he never called back. He then had a 2 week vacation (voicemail said so). I call back after with no luck. Today I called and he picked up but told me their computer system is down and he’d call back. At 6.20pm (2.5h after they close) he called me back and I missed it since I wasn’t expecting his call so late. So draw your conclusions. I missed the last call, yes. But it’s 10/10 and my car is still not fixed. Thank god it’s minor and drivable.

Ive made multiple requests to be removed from their mailing list, the junk mail stops for a while and starts again. I spent 21 minutes on hold today trying to get removed again and the person hung up on me. Rude! For the record, Im on the opt out registry. For the record, if your stuck on the side of the road, you could be on hold for 20+ minutes. Hows that for service!

My family and I have had a membership with AAA for 15 years for our 3 cars. I am so grateful and extremely satisfied with their service. We have called them many times When Ive run out of gas, battery died, or locked keys in the car. When we bought a brand new car from Honda in 2016 we were given a free roadside assistance which I thought Id never need however we were sold a defective New car and every time I called Honda they could not come out...on the holidays...in the evening....or weekend....But AAA always came out within 20 minutes. Recently my New battery from Honda... 1 year old died for no reason.. AAA came out and rather than trying to convince me to buy a new battery from them because the battery was at 0%... he charged me and encouraged me to go to Honda to have them exchange it with the warranty....he even followed me to the service center to make sure it didnt die again. Well again Honda did not honor the warranty, and would not even charge the battery...But AAA did come out again the following day and charged my battery 100%... and now its running fine. I have found Every one of their technicians extremely helpful and have gone above and beyond to assist me. Now that my teen daughter will be driving I feel secure she will be in good hands should we need AAA to help.

My boy friend Jason recently used our AAA service to have his older Lexus towed to s service station. The service station told him his car was done and the engine was messed up. It tow truck driver encouraged him to use a product called Lucas. He used Lucas today, and now his car is running like a champ! Thanks to the tow truck driver giving him great advice now his car is up and running again. We cant remember the tow truck drivers named we will call this week and find out but we want to give him an excellent review as well. We thank you so much for all the advice and help.

AAA is the best!!! Never had a bad experience!Car wouldnt start and suspected a dead battery. They came within 30 minutes because they were going to dispatch for a replacement if charge did not work. Took them 10 minutes to diagnose and replace my dead battery. Pricing was good with free install.I am a loyal member and will be for a long time!

My friends car wouldnt start when she was trying to leave my house this morning. We called AAA and they sent someone out right away. We were initially quoted a 90 minute wait when we were on the phone with the mainland customer service rep. But, after about 5 minutes, we got a call from the tow truck driver. He was on the H-3 and would be here in 30 minutes. And he was, right when he said.The young man who came out was Preston, and he got my friends car started in no time. He was very personable, polite and professional. We couldnt have been more impressed with the service we got. Really and truly, what could have been a stressful situation, turned out to be so simple. Thanks AAA, and thank you Preston.

I sent them my International Drivers Permit from Guam. Their receptionist was able to answer all questions for me and made the process really easy. Had my IDP back in 2 weeks.

My 2016 Tacomas battery died and Monroe from AAA arrived that morning at my residence and conducted the diagnostics. He was very friendly, courteous, and professional. The battery needed to be changed out and he advised me about double checking the battery warranty before I make a decision to pay for and change out for a new battery. He advised me that he was pretty sure the battery was warrantied for 3 years and its been 2 years and 11 months. Just in the nick of time. Well he jumped started my car and I ended up driving it down to Servco Toyota where in fact it was fully warrantied yet and they ended up installing a brand new battery. Want to send a much kudos and mahalos to my AAA driver Monroe as he did an excellent job that morning and saved me some money. Well worth being a member of AAA after all these years.

I waited 3 hours + for a tow truck. Still waiting at 11:00pm ..AAA said they were busy & only 1 towing company that provides services for the whole Island..

Ive been a AAA membership for 11 years and never had a problem with them. I never really needed much, but they picked up the phone when I called. I moved to Hawaii and called 3x during daytime hours (to renew my membership) and no one picked up. I left a voicemail, no one returned the call. I tried to leave a voicemail in another mailbox and it was full. I called the 800 number and they said they had to route me back to Hawaii, even after I told them I called and no one answered. The person from the 800 number said theyd stay on the line with me to make sure someone picked up. Not only did they not stay on the line with me, but no one picked up at the Hawaii location and the phone automatically hung up when no one picked up. I guess I wont be renewing my membership, then.

Somewhat efficient. A busy, cluttered space with people waiting to get help and people working to get people the help they need. Staff is friendly and tries to be helpful. AAA offers a lot of travel services as well as auto services. I went for an International Drivers Permit and was prepared for the required documents including photos, etc. They can take your photos there if you dont have them. They were at a bit of a loss as to where I could get a Chinese Visa and suggested some place, but werent sure. All in all, got what I went in for and its just another busy business in Honolulu. Nothing outstanding or off putting.

Signed up for insurance from AAA not too long and the service was great and very helpful! Staff fought to make sure I had the best rates possible coming off from my previous insurance. They went far beyond what I expected. Highly Recommend them to anyone looking for auto insurance or any of the AAA services.

The good folks if AAA have been with me from Colorado to Hawaii and been my insurance provider as well I dont know how they grade Insurace Companies, but I can tell you AAA has never let me down through ice storms, thru hurricanes, being run off the road and accidents. I truly recommend the AAA folks on Nimitz!

NEVER USE this dishonest RIP-OFF company AAA but always try to use your insurance or a private tow company because the service is horrible. Heres why, I called AAA and ASKED the customer service representative, If I paid for membership on the same day that i paid service if I could still use the service?...and the representative told me YES and to just pay online and call back. Unfortunately, i learned that this was a lie that the rep told me after I paid my money!!!!!! THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE!!!! I was stuck on the freeway and signed up to an upgraded plus AAA service & payed $100 to get a tow off freeway to my destination. Then after I payed for my membership I was told that I had to wait 7 days to use the service which included a 100 mile tow. This company told me after receiving my membership payment that i can only get towed 5 miles but for free to a safe destination. Then i was told by the company that i have to pay another $35 dollars for using the service on the first day! So I paid my last few dollars only because i was stuck on the freeway and then they told me that i have to wait 7 days to use the service and receive the 100 mile tow. So they only gave me a 5 mile tow but i was still stuck outside in my car after paying my $100 + $35. So they had me pay these fees but told me i had to wait 7 days. Therefore I was left stranded in my car!! Thank goodness that my auto insurance stepped in and placed an order to a nearby towing service. They provided me with a 40mi lift home through my auto insurance. From there I had to fight to get my money back from AAA!

We called the Honolulu office this past week for some information. The costumer service rep wasnt very pleasant over the phone. Weve been customers with AAA for many years.

Needed a service call and was told I would have someone in 45 minutes. At 1 hour I called again and was told an additional hour and a driver would call. At 2 hrs we left our emergency spot and cancelled service. Got a call from the driver at 2 1/2 hrs later. No apology just letting us know he was at the requested spot waiting. I was told management would be contacting us to follow up and after 3 calls in still no return call from management. AAA sucks!

Ive been with AAA for 22 years. Never had any problems. Just planned a trip from Honolulu Hawaii to Emporia & Richmond Virginia & to Danbury Connecticut. Taking a vacation for a month. Ive been a triple A member for many years. I also have a roadside assistance aside from my car insurance and I pay over $260 a year separate from my car insurance. But some triple A customer service people dont treat their membergood and dont give good services. I may change my car insurance pretty soon.

Scotty helped me by installing a new battery. He took the time needed a did a thorough job. He was kind and we had a good conversation while he installed the battery.

My son called AAA at 10:20pm for a tow and it is now 1:08am after I make 2 calls to AAA to get an answer_why is it taking soo long??? The response was they had to reroute and theres only 2 stations available??? This is a Ridiculous and Terrible excuse. My son received a text msg saying that the driver will reach him at 2:05am...It doesnt take 4hrs to get from point A to point B on Oahu between 10:20pm -2:05amI didnt want to rate even the 1star but had to just to leave a review of this horrible situation!
