I had an amazing experience shopping at Cutter Dodge of Honolulu. The sales associate I worked with is Danny “Magic Man” Weston. From the initial greeting to the end was phenomenal. He answered any and all questions that I had and was very upfront about everything. Had casual small talk and never tried to hard sell anything. Went back and forth on pricing and his team met me where i wanted to be. Entire process was smooth sailing. Danny really is the “Magic Man”. Definitely recommend!

The sales experience went very well. No complaints. I would have given a 5 star rating but I expressed to the Salesman who assisted me that I wanted to keep the personalized Lisense Plate Frames that were on the Car that was traded and he said that he would take care of that issue. I went back a couple of days later and was told by another Salesman as well as seeing Car then discovering the frames had been replaced with plain black frames. This may sound petty to some but the frames were special to me and are hard to replace and may not be able to be replaced.

The dealership is the authorized service provider for Chryslers warranty so I go there regularly for service and oil changes. It is generally a good service and Harold (one of the advisors) is great. He helped me get a replacement rental while my car was at the shop and addressed all my concerns.

Incredibly overpriced, brought my truck in for a recall... and somehow they still managed to charge me... not to mention, their service charges are bloated... like double the cost bloated compared to another dealer here on the island. My service went well. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by a service writer. He asked what service I wanted and explained that there was a deal if I purchased a multi oil change that included 3 oil and tire rotation within 2 years. I purchased this deal and basically saved about a $100 dollars. My service took approximately 1 and a half hours. Not bad considering I was about the 3rd customer in-line. Over I was very satisfied with their service and my experience on this day.

I recently purchased my New Dodge Charger from this location. The experience was phenomenal, I cant say more about their professionalism of course I went there with plan going in and found out that I was gonna be walking out with a better deal then I expected. My car salesman Nate was phenomenal he had the car ready for me to test drive as soon as I arrived. Nate also made no mistakes when it came to my paperwork and gathering all of my information. He maintained my preferred method of contact with me while I was at work and wasnt pushy at all. I totally respect that and will return to this location for any future purchases I may have. Please do your homework before visiting this dealership. Way overpriced. Used cars were very rough and tinkered with by home mechanics. Little to no detailing done on cars priced above KBB excellent. Dismissed me for lowballing them. Cars were definitely not worth asking price.

Originally I was there 4.5 hours, one salesman (Cadillac) didnt give me the best deal at all. He also disrespected my car once I didnt take his offer and said I wanted my keys to leave. He claimed its the lowest he could go (meanwhile my friend got the same car as me at the same time) and he got a better deal. So, I ended up switching over to the best 2 salesman Lance & Reamil & they both got me the best deal I couldve got on my 2021 Charger Redeye! I appreciate them both for making my experience the best!

Friday, Feb 05 2021 - I got a flat tire on my way to work. I went in and I left them my vehicle. Later, I get a call and I have to get a new rim, tire sensor, and tire. Fine, not a problem. I tell them to go ahead and order the rim. But then a co-worker suggests I get my insurance to cover a portion. So I consult with my Dad and we call our insurance. Not a problem, they need to do an inspection.This is where things take a disappointing turn for this place.We call the service department and they say that they cannot let the car go get an inspection because we need to pay for the rim. We ask if they can simply cancel the order of that part, and they say its not possible.. How is it that if you order something on Amazon you can cancel after even three days of ordering something, but we call in less than 24 hours - heck, even less than 12 hours - and they cant cancel the order and let our insurance do an inspection so that maybe they can pay a portion of the huge bill.My Dad and I spoke with John at Services.Monday, Feb 08My Dad went to speak to someone at the services center and they failed to provide the policy that states that they cannot cancel any parts ordered.

Ray (Piano) met me at the car and checked me in. After leaving the car, he called me back with the confirmed problem, estimated arrival date of my needed part and kept me update until it arrived. He set me up with the appointment and a rental.Always on top of it. Couldnt ask for more. Very helpful, thurough and informative throughout the proecess. I took my 1965 International Harvester Scout here because it was dec 31st and they were the only place taking walk-ins. I was skeptical they would be able to even inspect the classic truck, but a few hours later I had a short “fix it” list. A few trips back and forth over the next few weeks, and I was finally able to knock out everything. Unfortunately when I went back the technician that completed the inspection was out, and they have to be the one to place the sticker. They offered to have someone else inspect it, but I was naturally hesitant. I decided to wait the full 30 days in case the original inspector came back. With 4 days left he came back and I’m writing this review after just leaving the service lot. I brought them an impossible task, but the customer service was stellar. This is the last step of a 3 year restoration, and I am truly grateful they were up to the task. A special thanks to John and Aaron. Without them, my truck would still be in a garage. Thank you.

Made an appointment a week in advance to get my brake pads changed.First problem: The appointment system isnt really appointments. They schedule a whole group of cars at the same time as you so your car gets worked on whenever they can get to it. So if you are looking to get in and out at a certain time or if this is your only vehicle, dont go hereSecond problem: I made an appointment at 7am (when they open). Shouldnt be too big of a line and should get in and out relatively quick. WRONG. Close to 4 hours later I find out they didnt have all the parts to do it.They were waiting on another location to deliver them the parts and it wouldnt be there until 12. Then on top of that it would take another hour and a half to service the car.No help from management and he wouldnt even look me in the eye when I was addressing the issue. Total lack of care about what they did.All in all I had to leave because of time restraints.Total time to get brake pads changed would have been 5.5 hours with an appointment.

My partner and I went in knowing what we wanted. Our sales consultant Riese Deponte helped us get in and out with our vehicle exactly the way we wanted. He was able to work around the numbers we wanted and we had an overall great experience. Will definitely be going to Riese in the near future!Edit: Went back for another Jeep. They sold us a Jeep that was coming in the next day. Next day they called and it was apparently damaged in transit. We had already signed all the paperwork and they were telling us the only way we could get a jeep is to go for a more expensive model. Luckily it fit our budget, but it seemed shady. Like a bait and switch.First jeep ended up having a defective front seat that was stuck folded forward. It ended up in the shop before we even had it for a month. The part was on national backorder and we didnʻt get it back until about a month later.Have been trying to get the second set of keys for the first jeep I bought. Keep calling and getting told Iʻll get a call back, but no one ever does.The service department was awesome. But I wouldnʻt recommend the dealership.

I purchased a car from Cutter. it is a used certified car that costs about 37K. The same day I brought it home it had a few issues. I took it to the dealer they told me to leave at the service place. it was there for four days. The mechanic found issues but the manager would not pay for it. He was very rude and would not fix an issue on a car i had for less than a day. I will have to take legal actions to get this issue resolved. I have bought many cars in my last 60 years and have never had such a negative experience with a dealership before. The only positive was Khoi, the sales guy! He was very helpful.

Don’t waste your time like they will on you. We called parts to make sure they had what we were looking for in stock. They said yes and would take about a hour to install. We called service to see when they would be able to be able to add the parts needed. They said come in between now and 30 min and you’ll be good. TWO HOURS LATER OF WAITING OUTSIDE WITH A 4 MONTH OLD BABY, the service advisor said oh parts thought you meant floor mats not mud flaps, I said oh so you would charge a hour of work to add floor mats. They scratched the left side of my Jeep from the front left quarter panel,. the drivers door, all the way to the left rear quarter panel. I only noticed it this morning in the sunlight. I called the number listed on Google, and the receptionist told me that the service department is closed today, and to call at 0700 Monday morning. Very rude and not helpful at all. After they fix the damages, I will never come back here for any service needs.

I am honestly super confused at their level of service. We were offered a car at price, agreed, and they came back and said we could have a different car at that price (that we never saw) but not the one we wanted. They couldnt budge on the other one: whatever. We said no thanks and left. After I left, I asked if they could send the quote on the other one and they never sent it to me. To me this seems like a bait-and-switch coupled with the rudeness to not send me the quote for the car I wanted. Guess they dont want to sell their cars here?

What is it with this island and terrible customer service? Don’t waste your money here! Bought a car on the mainland and had it shipped back here for $3k less than what they wanted to charge here even before taxes. Then the service department wanted to charge us for extra parts during a service that were not quoted on or even asked about. After standing my ground and insisting we weren’t going to pay the extra charges after we received the bill, they backed down and reduced the price to the quote they gave us. Overall, i have not been impressed with any businesses here on island, but this was by far the worst experience Ive had yet.

I was already off island and had to contact Cutter Service Department to see if they could help since I was not physically there. They turned a very stressful situation into an easy one. Everyone here has wonderful customer service. I just don’t understand why it took 2 hours for quick battery diagnostic, oil, and filter change when having an appointment. Had I known I would’ve just done express lane without making an appointment since all those people finished before me. Also, invoice claims I declined tire rotation which I was not informed at all was an option. Your mind isn’t entirely there when service isn’t done in timely manor but that’s my fault for not reading over the invoice entirely before signing and leaving. Although, tire rotation is included in the Ram Care so it should have been done anyways.

Taj, was the best. We have a warranty through Ford. We drive a Jeep. Ford is supposed to take care of the warranty, but Jeep does the work and gets paid. Justin at Honolulu Ford, totally dropped the ball on this one. Told us he had it all under control, knew what he was doing. We got an appointment with Cutter the next day. Never heard from Justin again. We called and called. Would not return our calls. This was a Ford warranty we paid alot of $$$$ for. Taj from Cutter took over. He did not have to do it, but he did. He was so pleasant to work with. Picked up our Jeep today. And our Ford warranty had already paid. No thanks to Justin at Ford. It was all Taj. My sales person was awesome (Jamal) and willing to work with my budget as well as the sales manager who helped crunch the numbers. Ultimately they helped me get into the vehicle I wanted and come to an agreement on pricing and payments.My only issue was when it came to finalizing the paperwork. I had to come back to meet the finance manager only to find out that the payments I agreed to, they weren’t able to honor. So in order for it to work I had to put $1400 more down. This was a big shock to me and unexpected.That would be my only complaint other than that the staff are very friendly and they are one of the more affordable dealers on the island in my opinion.

The employees are very down to earth and helpful. Customer service is on the spot. They go the extra mile to help out the customer.The waiting room is nice and clean. There are message chairs, coffee machine, water fountain and a vending machine with snacks and drinks. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. They also have a TV to keep the kids occupied.The only thing bad is the parking. But it is understandable considering the location. At least it is walking distance to places to eat and drink.To bad that there is no shorter way in financing a vehicle. It has cause my wife not to be able to earn extra money for the holidays because the loaner is not a 4-door vehicle which she needs, oh and its a loaner vehicle which is not allowed. The person in charge of my vehicle cant even keep his stories straight of what is going on, so yes they are LYING to customers about their vehicles. Needless to say my letter to Jeep has gone out today for the Lemon Law. It is sad that they cant even communicate honestly with customers. I have left messages for the manager to call two weeks in a row with no response. The only good thing is it is under the original manufacture warranty and less than 2-years since the purchase date.

I purchased my Chrysler 200 from this dealership four years ago and have had great experiences for the most part. I recently had to get my hood replaced and repainted due to corrosion. Chrysler paid for the work to be done, but I was left with a two week car rental payment to pay myself. That was bad on Chrysler. Cutter has always been good to me overall. I needed some other things done but I wanted am estimate so they put me to the back of the line again for wait lost and I couldnt get Nyrhing else done. I just wanted to say its been a super long time since I reviewed a dealership. But, these guys deserve a gold star in book.Very professional, and extremely nice staff.I feel bad, because this is coming late, I brought my jeep in for a piston malfunction thinking it would kill my bank account, ended up with the best service rep Ive ever had.Due to my schedule I had to drop my car off after hours with keys in box, and give brief description of problem.Got a quick response from service department next morning. One particular guy, named Tom. He gave me detailed messages explaining everything that happened, and his number to get a hold of him.Tom is a life life saver!He is amazingly nice, easy to explain car stuff to average day people, and very professional.Never want to go anywhere else but cutter, thank you Tom, you are best!

Do NOT buy your new vehicle here! They will scam you and short you out of what you should expect. After months of waiting due to a faulty NEW transmission for a NEW car, they offer to replace it with a reconstructed one? Are you serious? This place will take NO accountability and run behind a warantee while they smile at you. They sure are quick to sell you on something. If you advertise a new car that includes a new transmission of all things, follow through.Do not waste your time or money with this business. There are PLENTY of other dealerships that will not clown around on you. If you do go with this dealership you are rolling the dice. I know we did.

Last Sunday, I asked my wife if she wanted to look at cars. We werent ready to buy one just yet. Just wanted to get a feel for the Jeeps. However, once we started test-driving, our curiosity started to peak. Then we were passed to Danny Weston, who asked us what they could do to have us leave the lot with a new car. He couldnt have been more approachable. Danny made us feel comfortable and valued, even though my wife was adamant that we would not budge from our asking price. Danny could have let us walk out of the door. Instead, he went back and forth to see if the dealers price could be brought down. In the end, his hard work paid off, and by Tuesday, we left the lot with a new Jeep Compass. If it wasnt for Dannys honest, down-to-earth approach, we would have left. Danny Weston is a pro. Thank you, Danny! Well be back.

We came to this dealer 2.5 years ago to look at Jeeps. They ran our credit (hard inquiry), took our information and approved us, but the salesman was so pushy that we ended up going elsewhere for a car and never returned. Fast forward two years to today, doing my monthly July accounting, I saw that I was charged almost $100 by this dealer last month. Thats June of 2019 (?!). We have not been to this dealership since our first and last appointment in 2016. Working to get this sorted now, alarmed that they kept my card on file and *charged* me years after I set foot in their dealership. Beware and avoid.
