Ever since our screen enclosure came down in a storm we have been trying to figure out what to do to make our patio a usable space again. It’s not easy to find a reputable, professional company in South Florida. Upon extensive search, I am glad I selected Reliable Shutters & Screens for my project. Their name speaks for itself. We chose to install Renaissance Fresno pergola and extended our patio with travertine pavers. Our sales rep, Nick, came on time and spent over 2 hours going over the product, details, and measurements. Upon signing the contract I’ve been in communication with Gina. Based on many horror stories I read in reviews while performing research on screen enclosures, I approached the process with some trepidation. Fortunately, my experience with Reliable Shutters & Screens was a very favorable one. Their design recommendations (provided by Nick) were practical and cost effective, the permit process (handled by Gina) was smoothly managed and the construction project (managed by Juan) was efficiently executed. Unavoidably, the project was delayed because of Covid-19 but the front office (Gina) kept me updated. All in all, the process was stress free and I am very pleased with the final product.

From the initial phone call Reliable Shutters and Screens has been nothing more than professional and honest. Cesar came out on a weekend to look at my patio and gave me a quote, which most companies I have called prior just gave me some random number over the phone without even seeing my patio which gave me an uncomfortable feeling, but Cesar was really nice and accommodating. He was very communicative especially when Eta was approaching and even though we had to reschedule because the weather he immediately got my patio screened in once the weather was nice. The work was seamless and looks great! Both Cesar and his brother were efficient, professional, friendly and truly customer oriented (which is very hard to find in South Florida!) I would definitely rely on them for any other screening needs I would have and would recommend them to my own mother. You would not be disappointed as they are the type of company that takes pride in their work and would resolve any issues or concerns you may have because they truly care about their business, customers and workmanship. The owner Steve is extremely rude, especially to women after getting the job. He speaks disrespectful and screams. His workers are messy and don’t clean up and pavers are not put back correctly, taking short cuts. Good product but extremely poor customer service. Doesn’t follow through on promises.

I hired this company to install a patio roof and pavers on my backyard. The job came out better than I couldve dreamed of. The salesman Leo was very presentable and knowledgeable about the product. He came with samples of the roof material and also of the pavers, and it made it easy to envision what the job would look like. He sent me lots of pictures of previous jobs, and made me feel really comfortable. The owner Steve was very attentive to whatever concerns we had about the job. I was asked to review my experience with Reliable Shutters & Screens for our new flat roof and patio screen enclosure. Cesar, the sales rep was a pleasure to work with and explained everything in detail to us so that aspect of the project was excellent. The installation crew was excellent as well and did a phenomenal job with the install, although my grass wasnt too happy with the foot traffic and the materials laying on them for days.My only issue was the communication with the office as to when the project would commence. We didnt get any notice from the office as to when anything would start or materials being delivered. We were on our way down to Key West only to be alerted by our ring cameras that there was movement in our back yard. It was the delivery guys dropping off the materials for the project, with no advanced notice from anyone. They then just put everything on my grass in the yard instead of around the paved pool deck. I had to call the office and Cesar to find out what was going on and ask when they planned to do the install. They seemed surprised that the material was being delivered. This may have been a miscommunication between them and their supplier, but in my opinion, should never have happened, hence the reason for only 4 stars.Overall, we are very happy with our end result and would recommend Reliable Shutters and screens for your project.

THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST. These guys were really great all around! The take down and installation for our new screened in patio was so quick I was shocked. They had everything completely in less than 2 days! The paperwork process was a bit of a pain but it wasn’t their fault. They were really great at communicating throughout the whole process so that made us worth it. Best customer service I’ve dealt with in a really long time! Extremely satisfied with Reliable Shutters & Screens for my Renaissance Classico patio roof and thankful for the recommendation. This project from start to finish was above my expectations with the installation and final product. The communication was great and Steven was hands on with my project every step of the way. The only complaint I have is the permitting process and the delays that resulted with the city.

We absolutely love our new sunroom!! After meeting four different contractors, we contracted with Reliable Shutters and Screens in December of 2019. I don’t know if the pandemic threw everything off. Meaning the time constraints with the city and how they handled plans, plans not being accepted by the city when submitted, and/or delays in resubmitt-ing the plans. (I could appreciate the city wanting everything right. That protected us.as homeowners).We want to thank Cesar, our salesman. He had all of the great ideas. When he showed us the pictures of their sunrooms, we were blown away. Steve our contractor and Gina from the office. Steve and Gina had to take many hard questions from me. They always returned my calls. The installers for the roof were awesome (two ladies and a guy). The roof was tested during that major flood in November. Not a drop of water underneath the roof. The glass was the icing on the cake. We chose the windows with a little tint. Those guys were awesome too. I was worried about the windows fitting properly. They told me not to worry, everything would be done to my satisfaction. They did not lie.They passed each inspection the first time. The job was finally completed in December, 2020. Now that it is done, I have forgotten what it took to get it finished.We live on a corner. With the room being all glass, we can see people walking and looking and the cars stopping to admire it. One guy told my son-in-law that every time he and his wife drive by together, she tells him she wants one. Now we use this area daily. It is such a beautiful addition to our home. We had the Ultra View Screening installed, which, when installed you couldnt tell that there was any screening there. Great product to enhance your view. Almost one year ago we decided to replace our screened lanai which had run its course through hurricanes, rough playing dogs, and many years of lively partying! We did our research and decided to have Reliable Shutters and Screens handle our project. From the beginning planning stages to the final moment of installation, everyone working for this company was skilled, professional, and friendly. We felt the price was reasonable for the level of service and quality of the final product - a beautiful new screened in lanai. The materials used for the roof actually have helped lower the temperature a few degrees in the summer which was an added benefit.I write this now, almost 11 months later, because over the past week, we had 7 days of heavy rain - not just the typical summer afternoon showers we expect here in South Florida. One morning I noticed a small quarter size amount of water on the floor of the lanai - under one of the seams. I called the company and spoke to Gina - who has always been supportive and helpful. She immediately scheduled someone to come out. The little problem was corrected and it has rained since the repair with no issue. Today Gina called to check on our situation and said that if there were any further problems, to please call them. That is great customer service. I recommend Reliable Shutters and Screens without reservation.

We had reliable come out and quote us for a new aluminum patio roof. Our existing roof was approximately 15+ years old and it was time for replacement. After receiving multiple bids, we found Reliable to be the most competitive for what they offered. Most importantly, our project estimator Nick insisted on doing the job right and provided a detailed timeline of how the work would proceed and what to expect.We hit a small snag when we located some problem issues in our main roof that needed to be addressed by a roofer, however once I had those issues corrected Reliable was back out promptly to finish the job. They even worked into the evening on a Friday to complete the work. Communication throughout the process was superb and everything promised was delivered. Please consider Reliable for your patio needs.

We recently moved into a 20 year old house. The lanai was in real need of re-painting and re-screening. We did a search and located companies that were willing to do the screening or the painting but not both.Finally discovered Reliable Shutters & Screens. Cesar came out and gave us a very fair quote to do both the painting and screening. We found him to be very professional, knowledgable and a very nice guy. Cesar and his brother Vinny did the work. They were both great to work with and we could not be happier with the final job. There was a slight issue because it was very windy when they were painting. This place is truly “reliable”. We called to make an appointment for an estimate on our pool screen and within a few hours we received a call. They’re such lovely people and did a BEAUTIFUL job. It was such a pleasure working with Steve and Gina. We are a very small non-profit organization with a rather tight budget, and they did everything they could to help us get a quality aluminum roofing cover for our courtyard at an affordable price. And, they were incredibly patient with us while we worked on raising the funds to do the project. The end result was so great and well worth the time and effort. Our clients, staff and volunteers are all loving the new covered courtyard providing much needed shade and protection from the elements. Thank you!! Did exactly what we agreed upon for far less than the other 2 companies who came out. 1st class from start to finish and would recommend to anyone. Already have them set up for 2 of our best friends pools! Would give more stars but 5 was max!

Great work Reliable did on our mega view patio roof. It has added a large outdoor room to our house where we also added a kitchen and TV to watch football. Reliable made sure the work was done to our complete satisfaction. We highly recommend Reliable Shutters and Screen.

We called Reliable, they said theyd have an Estimator call us to set an appointment and within an hour Joe called. He came out the following day took some measurements and went over our options regarding a pool enclosure. We did have two other companies come out priced similarly although Reliable had an A+ on the BBB so we went with Joe. Very happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend Joe and Reliable.

Love my screened porch! Nick had great suggestions and answered all my questions when drawing the plans.Everyone was friendly and competent during each phase of the construction. I felt like I was in good hands every step of the way.

They didn’t follow the permit, won’t fix it or give me the plans. I have to tear it down now. They have caused me insurmountable trouble and headache not to mention wasted many thousands of dollars because of them. This is a red flag! Beware. Today the porch had to come down. 9 other customers said they had a problem permitting with them.

My husband and I are very satisfied with the work performed, but moreover we are pleased with the communication they kept with us during the lengthy installation process. Gina never failed to return our calls and to keep us informed every step of the way. I would recommend Reliable to my friends!

Excellent service, and attention to details. Even tho my HOA was giving me a hard time, Gina in the front office went above and beyond to make sure all paperwork was submitted. The installation techs were quick and efficient. Any issues/ questions were answered promptly. I would recommend reliable shutter and screens to everyone.

Overall my experience was good. The project definitely ran into some hiccups due to the material company but Reliable Shutters & Screens more than made up for the delay. The final project exceeded my expectations and I am very pleased with it.

When it came time to replace my screen enclose for the third time (same house for 36 years!), I decided I wanted the new style Mega View enclosure as much for the sturdiness as the improved view. I contacted a local screen company who quickly ran away with my deposit, closed shop etc. I then contacted the manufacturer of the Mega View beams who told me to call Reliable Shutters and Screens, one of their best dealer/installers.I will be the first to say, mine was a difficult job but the results were as promised right down to the last detail (I am a demon for details!) Steve always followed up and made sure everything was done correctly.I am very pleased with the final outcome! I highly recommend them.

Overall Im very happy with the work Reliable did, however I want to provide an honest and balanced review. The final product - a screen enclosure over my pool, with the wide mega view panels now looks great. The quality of workmanship is excellent and the screen enclosure looks fantastic.However it did take much, much longer than promised to finish. I signed a contract in September and the sales rep assured me that the job could be completed by December. After the initial price quote, I was called by the owner, Steve, and told that the job would actually be more expensive than the original price quote - and I agreed to another $5,000 (his explanation of the reason for the increase seemed reasonable, although its unusual for the price to change after a contract is signed.)Once the deposit was paid and I agreed to the additional cost, things began to slow down. The initial pass at the permits failed (not usual I guess), but it took a while to resubmit the plans for permitting. I dont believe this was Reliables fault, I think its typical to have to modify plans a couple of times before they pass for permits.Once the plans were finally approved and the permit issued, it took weeks and weeks before they started installation. Not 100% happy with the responsiveness of Reliable...I sent many email inquiries as to the status that did not get a response. When I did get a response, lots of reasons given for the delay. Ultimately I had to get very firm about the job being completed before a certain date, and then work finally began.Once work actually began, it went rapidly and smoothly. The finished product looks beautiful. Steve and his crew were pleasant to deal with and Gina was always professional - but I think they could improve on their level of responsiveness to customer emails, calls, and texts - and they could be more honest and realistic about the timeline upfront.

My sales assiciate Cesar was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about my patio project design. I went with Reliable Shutters & Screens as a company because of my first interaction with the company through Cesar. From start to finish this company by far is the best experience we had with any contractors thus far. Thank You Very Much for providing us with exactly what we wanted!

The staff of Reliable Shutters and Screens was very understanding. They had to coordinate with the residents (part owners) to insure that their two dogs were in the home. They had to deal with the the parents (also part owners) of the residents who were coordinating numerous projects at this home and two other homes. Great job.

I selected Reliable Shutters & Screens to install a custom patio cover. From the very beginning my salesman Nick was in sync with my design requirements and was very professional. The installation date was emailed to me by Gina in the office, and they completed the job on schedule. The workmanship was first class and any items that needed attention after the installation were immediately scheduled and addressed. Any projects that may arise for me in the future, theyll be my first call.
