ADT has been incredibly frustrating. The sales pitch was long and pushy, the prices were not at all what they advertised prior to coming out. One of our cameras hasn’t worked for months and it took 6 visits (which I have had to argue the price of since they charge you to fix their product). They sent multiple people, told me to up my internet speed, change the position of the camera, order a booster- and finally on the SIXTH visit someone looked at the camera and realized it was corroded inside- 6 visits and a lot of frustration on my part. To their credit, they did replace the camera for free and told me that it shouldn’t have done that. But, I can’t believe it took 6 visits before someone looked at the actual product. The service is spotty and will go offline for a random time, the door sensors will fall off and despite being told they were mailing me replacements- I never got them. I so wish I had never agreed to this, I can’t wait for my contract to be up so I can go with a more reputable product. I don’t think I have ever posted a negative review before, but I do want to share so others don’t get locked into a contract as I have.

Stephen arrived at the time promised to discuss the services that ADT has to offer. He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the products available. It was a very pleasant interaction. I was given a very reasonable and competitive quote for installation and services.

I had the absolute best service call to upgrade my ADT alarm system. The ADT Technician was absolutely very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough in upgrading my ADT alarm system. If ADT had even a few more techs like him that would be great for ADT. Curtis is a total asset to ADT. Thank you

I moved and I’m being punished for moving. I had two choices. Cancel services which means I pay 500 dollars termination fees or relocate and sign a new 3 year contract for a much higher monthly rate. No other choice. Terrible company. Been with them since 2009 and for being a client for over 10 years this is how I’m treated for moving. I’m done with them forever. Not worth the money at all!! Overpriced !!!!

The technicians are great but the system installation phone staff are poorly trained with much misinformation. It resulted in a wasted service call which is making us question our choice. We have been ADT customers for 30 years. We were missing components on the written quote to upgrade Our system and we were told by the tech that is not true.some of our components won’t be used in the upgrade. So much went wrong. Our upgrade is scheduled For tomorrow. Worried.

We had ADT at our business (alarm and cameras). We closed our business in August. its now November and we are still getting charged monthly. When we last called (total of 4 times with employee numbers and confirmation #s) they still have no notes. And the latest charge we got 2 days ago, said it wasnt in their system and the charge wasnt from them! Unbelievable. Cant wait to call again next month.

I have had adt security for awhile now, I have had no issues with security or billing I am very happy and satisfied...... I would like to make a suggestion as to what I noticed.the technicians are great hardworking and knowledgeable, when they come out to do a service a majority of there time is on the phone waiting for whatever they need to call in,these wait times can be lenghthly, with a leading company like adt I would think that adt would have a separate dispatch just for the service technicians were there calls would be handled faster and more efficient. I am just surprised as how this is done,it just seems so old fashion with todays technology.

So today we lost our power until tomorrow, and wasnt expecting to have you guys show up today. So we had one guy come over earlier today and he was absolutely wonderful. We told him we lost power literally 5 minutes before he showed up and we told him we are extremely sorry and didnt expect this to happen. He said no worries and with a big smile on his face he left. So about an hour and a half later we just had another guy just come in to check to see how everything was going. We told him about our inconvenience and said sorry. This is where I get extremely mad. He responded COMPLETELY disrespectful. He told us that it was a wasted trip. You need to have customer service in this type of industry considering it is based off your customers. Im to the point with how disrespectful that man was to switch to a different company. Im going to discribe this young man and Im not being racist I want to make that clear now. He was a skinny, no more than the adverage height, mixed man. I DO NOT want him to come to my store again, and honestly I think this man should lose his job with how rude he is. You dont get paid to be rude. Thats how you lose your loyal customers. If I find a different company you definitely have lost another.

Auto renewed our 3-year business contract even though auto renewal was crossed out of the contract! When we caught it on our Amex we immediately called to dispute and advised them that we never agreed to auto renewal of the service and they told us too bad and REFUSED TO REFUND! We will be posting on every site we can find. Unethical BS!!

The most frustrating company to work with. I spend hours on the phone with them whether its because the software is working right, our bill is wrong, or just trying to order key fobs.
