Dr. Randy Kansky is such a phenomenal doctor! I only wish I found out about him sooner than now. Disclaimer: I am one of those who have a 20/20 and went there mainly for an annual check-up. He was a very articulate and knowledgeable man who spoke to me about a variety of topics such as how the exams are done, the way lenses operate, Luxottica, even ways on how I can save money on my coverage since I dont wear glasses. The staff was super friendly as well, and I highly recommend them to anyone else looking for a place to get their eyes checked. Its an independent shop so its a great way to support your local community as well.

A very nice shop to purchase a pair of spectacles or sun glasses. The staff is extremely polite and hel you through with all the insurance process. This places has a lot is options from a lot of brands and the range varies as per need. Would definitely recommend this place.

Can’t say enough good things. From the office staff, to Dr. Kansky, and so on. Everyone was so friendly, and I feel like I finally found an eye doc that really cares. Plus, the pricing without eye insurance was very affordable. I highly recommend!

I cant recommend Eyeshapes Hoboken enough! Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Randy Kansky, he did a thorough eye exam, talked me through every step and shared tons of helpful info. And Elena was beyond helpful - she got me on the schedule same-day and helped me pick out my new glasses.

This was my first visit to Dr. Kansky and I couldn’t possibly thank him and his staff enough. I was experiencing blurred vision and Dr. Kansky personally spoke with me on the phone and gave me complete reassurance. He proceeded to immediately fit me in between patients and was so helpful and thorough in his exam. I have never had such a pleasant experience, and I look forward to having my regular eye exams done here. I would give him and his kind receptionist 100 stars if I could!

I really appreciate the service of this shop. However the pair of glasses that I’ve got are the worst fit - I have to tape them on my forehead to see things clearly.

I totally love Dr. Kansky! In the past, Ive always gone to Lens******* and every single time disappointed by the jaded ODs, insufficient eye exams and unanswered questions, so I finally had enough and decided to go to a private practice!The staff are very nice (which is always important) and Dr. Kansky more than answers your questions each time, he elaborates so you can understand. He is patient, understanding and although hes been in the practice for years, he is not jaded, rude or impatient with your dumb and repetitive questions!I highly recommend! The parking in Hoboken is a little bit rough but I will go back every year!!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Kansky and a customer of Eyeshapes for close to 10 years now. My experience has always been exceptionally positive, starting with very thorough and thoughtful exams, all the way through to new frames and lenses, including adjustments from the fantastic staff. Two years ago they went out of their way to find and order a very specific frame for me, something i had seen in a different store. Last year I had a pair of glasses that were giving me trouble - for some reason one eye just wasnt coming into focus. Dr. Kansky and his optician, Jimmy, worked with me to make sure I was completely satisfied. My most recent visit was no different, and because of the quality of my frames, I was able to leave them to get new lenses and I can wear an older pair while I wait. I really cant say enough about how professional and friendly they are.
