This store provides a very good variety of west elm inventory. The staff here have always been extremely helpful; the team here seem to know their stuff quite well. Nice quiet location with minimal access to street parking. So, if youre driving to this location be prepared to circle around a bit.

Really disappointed with Westelm quality. They charge a lot of money but their furniture falls apart very quickly. First bad experience was with a bed which came incomplete and was poorly assembled by their own people that came to our home. Complained about it with customer service and at this branch but never got a response. For some reason we made the decision some time later to buy four bar stools, thinking it must have been bad luck. Two of them fell apart within a year and a half due to a very poor steel construction. Never again will we buy from westelm

I worked with interior designer Luis and store manager Carina for my order with large furnitures, they are both super friendly and helpful!!And I want to give a HUGE thank you to Carina, for her tireless help with countless phone calls with me, thank you for your patience and ability to always timely respond to and solve our issues, we are so happy with the furniture! Shell definitely be my goto person if I buy from west elm again!!!

LOVE this store and their customer service. While all the employees Ive interacted with have been phenomenal, I want to give a special shoutout to Luis. Hes gone above and beyond on multiple occasions to help me find the right pieces for my apartment. Highly recommend Luis to anyone who wants design expertise and values customer service.

My wife and me went this Hoboken west elm spot every week at end of December 2019, staffs are nice and patient, comprehensive category of furniture and related accessory for choose from, also 30% off when you purchased more than $3000 at once during holiday season, which was a great deal for us! Reminder, plan where to park before you go, limited parking lots in front of the store, good luck!

This West elm is one of the best.  They provide high quality furniture and their customer service is great!  Mary, was very helpful and professional.The only downside is that you have to wait for a long time before your furniture arrives, but that is really any furniture store unless what you want is in stockBut its strongly recommended, and their delivery service is reliable and fast too. I recognize West Elm is a large brand, but you still do support local as they sell items from local artisans.

Just had the most abhorrent (lack of) customer service at this store today. We went in wanting to buy a few items that we had seen online; I approached a store associate and asked if we could be helped (to make the purchase) when she was done with her current client. After some time it seemed like she wouldnt be finishing soon, so we went up to the counter where there was no line, for assistance; the same associate passed us several times, did some work at the counter for some time, not a single time acknowledging us, never setting expectations that she was still busy with a client or would ask someone else to help us--just blatantly ignored us. After waiting over 10 minutes in front of the counter, another associate freed up, just for us to be told the item is out of stock at the store, and if we want to order to the store it would cost less in shipping than if we order to our home. (Its not clear to me why I would need to foot shipping to the store if its not my fault the store is out of stock.) Couldnt help but notice how other customers were being assisted so quickly while we couldnt even get assistance when we explicitly asked for it. These guys cant even be coaxed into doing a sale let alone anything else I could possibly need. Needless to say, we walked out of the store upset and empty handed, and unsure if we will even place the online order after this borderline discriminatory experience.

Steven the manager at this location was great to deal with! Were thankful we were able to work with him. Its sad when good customer service is becoming a lost art, but its much more evident when when an individual stands above the rest. WE is lucky to have him. His peers at the King of Prussia location could learn a little.

I’ve been to the west elm in Princeton and I will have to say I’m not too fond of that location because the store is very small but this location has a quite wide variety of selection and overall it’s very big. It’s worth the drive to me in my eyes because there’s always a sale.

I had a great experience here. I came in the night before Thanksgiving to see if they had any bar carts which they did not. They were about the close but the salesperson helped me pick something that was comparable and perfect to replace a bar cart. I was there way past 8pm and they were incredibly accommodating. Thanks Hoboken West Elm!

Sweet store. Smaller than thhe ones I frequent in the city it seemed but room enough to showcase the majority of their products. I didnt see a parking lot. So I would assume street parking only. That was the only major flaw I could find.

I purchased a large sectional from their store (build your own). The sales rep on the floor placed the order (and probably got a commission from it). The net price was ~6K. In the months that followed, we purchased a large rug (~1.5K) and multiple linens and duvets as well (~1K).Long story short, the sectional was defective. It wasnt until the sofa had been used for some time that it became apparent. Other than this flaw, I was generally very happy with the piece. I simply asked that they attempt to repair it and make things right.The minute that I had a problem with the sofa I went into the store to ask for help. Thus began a pathetic cycle of incompetence, ineffectiveness, and unaccountability. The store General Manager, John Castro, referred me to online customer service, claiming that there was nothing that he could do to help since it was a custom order piece (never mind the fact that the transaction took place in the store). Zero problem solving. Zero customer solution mindset. He completely passed the buck.Online customer service was downright hostile. I fought with the person for well over 30 minutes. I finally had it escalated to a supervisor, Jennifer King-Malee. After considerable pushback and more of the same, she finally concedes and submits the item for repair. What comes next is probably the most offensive part of the entire experience: her repair team blames me for the defect, saying that I am somehow responsible for this and that they will not be able to help resolve this since it fell outside of their approved service period. But the toxic attitude and lack of awareness is what really gets me fired up. Zero customer service. Ive never been treated with such a careless attitude after spending so much money at a store. Its actually rather bewildering that they care so little about trying to resolve their customers problems.My message to any would be customers is to steer clear. Check out their Yelp reviews and you will see that my experience is the norm, not the exception. While they may have nice furniture at an affordable price point, they have NASTY attitudes and an unforgiveable lack of training. Should you ever have a problem with your purchase, dont expect them to lift a finger or go out of their way to help you.This is all very unfortunate because the Mrs and I had been eyeing a bedroom set and multiple additional items from there. After having such a horrible customer service experience I can safely say that we will NEVER buy another item from them.Congratulations, West Elm. You turned a loyal customer into an irate one who is going to go out of his way never to shop with you again.

Purchased 3 items for significant amount of money, delivery was multiple weeks late for our bed, store said the movers would pick up my existing sofa, they do not do that. Make sure you are thorough with questions to the team at West Elm, they will say anything to get a sale... also you will stay on hold for hour plus calling customer service

Im assuming the tall, thin guy is the store manager based on his authoritative manner however I failed to ask so my bad.....the guy needs to take a chill pill. Twice now I had him emerge from the back as both times( but separate days for different items) the lovely sales woman had to check whether the item was in stock....and BOTH times this guy emerges with zero customer service skills ...simply barking out answers and rushing me with answers each of the two times. To this man I say this....when you return from the stock room plz a. Dont bark at the customer and b. Realize that if you dont have enough of the merchandise in stock dont expect an immediate answer from the customer on a decision as to what to do ....because the customer may need more then 3 seconds to reach a conclusion. Bottom line...this guy has barked at me twice....the Paramus location has not once. Its trek to make that hike but Im all about supporting businesses with good customer service skills as after all, they are not giving out product for free. Shame on you mister. I hope upper management is now aware.

The new store is beautiful and has a wide selection of their merchandise. However, the customer service is horrendous. We were trying to buy two lamps and after 45 mins the employee still Couldn’t figure out if they were in stock or not. We made a second trip back after she located them and then they wouldn’t honor our registry discount so we went home and bought the lamps online (and used the discount).

Customer service or should I say, lack thereof, is atrocious! I would give no stars if I could. Zero customer service and been in store for 30 mins without being helped, so just had to walk out. I even had to ask one lady for some service 15 mins in and she appeared annoyed instead of trying to be helpful alluding to I should come back another day?! There were maybe two other customers in the store at the checkout line yet two girls behind wrap desk pretending to look busy. Not even a hello to greet people as they walk-in or Ill be right with you...stay away from this location. Its staff is not trained in hospitality/customer service whatsoever. The owners/managers need to re-evaluate their staff and rehire new ones. They are losing business for the company. Completely different experience compared to other locations.
