Bought a gorgeous, slightly used, BMW X4 this past Saturday. We had a bit of an issue on Sunday with it BUT Darren, Jose, Bill, Ronny, and Nancy have gone overboard to make it right. There can be issues out of our control, or unforeseen, but knowing that the folks at Jaguar Land Rover in Hinsdale put customers first has been amazing! We will pay nothing out of pocket for the repairs, have been treated with a high level of respect, and are driving a Discovery Sport while they do a repair. If you read these reviews, all the good reviews are about buying a car. Filter out just reviews about their service department and its a different story. I would recommend taking your vehicle to another dealership if you need to get work donebought a vehicle from them in December. Had to bring it in for service 3 times in the first 6 months. The last time I was told a shock absorber went out and had to order the part, said it would take 2-3 weeks to get it from the UK. They told me they could not give me a loaner until the part came in unless I wanted to pay for a rental. It has now been over 6 weeks. Every time I call and ask to speak to Kevin B (the service manager I was working with) Im told he is on a call and would call me back when he was off. Hasnt once called me back. Last Tuesday when I called and they told me he would call me back I mentioned how many times Ive been told that without a call back and I asked if anyone else could help me. Same story, nobody available at the moment, next available service manager would call me right back, and a week later still havent heard from anyone.Making payments on a car that I cant drive without doing further damage to. The dealership the car came from refusing to provide a loaner and wont even return a call from a customer that has already paid in full for the part. Tons of other dealerships in the Chicagoland area that would love your business and treat you better.

Bill Jacobs Land Rover Hinsdale is what I would consider a white glove dealership. The facility is state of the art and the vehicles are definitely world class. However, their service department is sub par to say the least. Ive had a few Land Rovers serviced at this location and never encountered such blatant lack of customer service.I scheduled a service appointment for my LR3 which had a suspension light issue. When I made the appointment, I specifically told the agent that I was told by my trusted mechanic there was a software update needed to clear the code by the service department at the dealer. I also stressed that I wanted to wait for my vehicle since I was under the impression it would be a diagnostic visit. I took off from work and was given a Thursday 9:00 am appointment by the agent. My service advisor was Mike.When I arrived to my surprise I was told that it would take 3 days to diagnose the problem and I would have to leave the vehicle. I was livid but calm, my frustration was; why wasnt this communicated at the time when the appointment was scheduled by the agent. And secondly, I realize there are a lot of intricate systems and parts for Land Rovers based on the engineering but 3 days to diagnose a problem. Thats totally unacceptable regardless if they offer a loaner or not. I wasted a day off of work for nothing and didnt even get an apology for the break down in communication. The sad part is that I recommended this dealer to my nephew and he purchased a new LR Sport 2 months prior.I will never patronize this dealer or service department again. They invested dollars in the state of the art facility but they should have invested dollars in improving the client experience within their service department.Mic drop!!!!!

Not very often I give out reviews and ratings but the level of service and professionalism that Raul and the service team at this Land Rover/Jag have given my vehicle is the number one reason why I go out of my way to bring back my vehicle for service to Land Rover Hinsdale. No matter the cost, and usually is a fair cost here they treat my vehicle not caring for the mileage or age of my vehicle like another dealer did causing me to come here. Going forward this is the only service and dealer Ill work with for both my wife and for my own vehicle. We were Mercedes family for 15 years and we are selling our 1st Range Rover just because you can not do simple appointments or car loaners with their service department!
