I LOVE OFFICE MAX PRINT CENTER!! The staff is always helpful and gets my print jobs out in a timely manner. Im so grateful for their professional work. I make sure that I turn in my projects early because the Hilo location gets super busy, but thats because they are good and priced just right. Keep up the amazing job Office Max Print Center in Hilo. Dont count on getting your order when they say it will be ready...tried to email an order for a simple banner but got a reply saying Hilo Office Max no longer accepts email orders. So I went online, used their template and tried to place my order. Got a message saying I had to go to the store to place the order; didnt say why. So I went to the store to place my order, waited 30 minutes to speak to an associate. They have this new thing where you sign in to get your place in line and they will text you when you are next on the list. Got a text saying I was next and wait time was approx. 1 minute. Had a seat, waited 15 minutes and received another text saying you are next and have 1 minute to show up or they will go on to the next person. Lucky I wasnt in the back of the store, never would have made it in 1 minute! Took another 30 minutes for 2 associates to figure out how to place the order online because they dont have the equipment to print it in store. I explained that I already tried ordering it online. The associate said YOU cant order it online, but WE can. Ok, that was hard but....order placed, finally! They told me it would be ready in 5 days but since Office Max will not deliver to post office boxes, and the post office doesnt deliver to homes in our area, I have to come back to the store to pick up my online order. Ok, at least my order is placed and will get here in the nick of time. Next day I get a call saying order had not actually been placed, it will now take 3 to 5 days for it to get to the online processing center and another 5 to 7 days to be delivered to store. By this time Im not very hopeful that someone will notify me in time if and when it finally does arrive. Tried to talk to a Manager, who said he doesnt know anything about the print center (managers day off) but will process my refund.Really, dont waste your time! There are places in Hilo who can and will print what you need and honor their time frame. Wish I had done that sooner, would have had my banner by now!
