Bought piano in Dec on a piano not in stock, was told availability in a couple weeks. 1 month passes, online inquiries were never responded to. Called store and they could not give an update. Called corporate x 1 with no information and they said they would email me. I got no contact. 6 days later I called corporate again and they stated they could not get me a date the piano would be available to ship. I asked to escalate to a manager and was told they could not do that and I could have one call me in a few days....seriously. I then asked to cancel my order with a cancellation number and they stated I would have to wait for an email with that information and they couldnt give it right away. Literally can get it in 2 days on Amazon, tried to get from a local shop, but alas, Amazon is more reliable I guess. I will never deal with this store/company ever again.

Teenager received excellent customer service. Woodwind ligature questions answered, options available included standard replacement or a flexible ligature. No hard sale. Also, lots of reeds and brands.

Not a good experience with a repair. Had my sax for three weeks and never fixed it. Claimed they called but never left a message to return call.. then they leave us a message that its ready to be picked up and my wife arrived this morning to pick it up and it had never been repaired. Horrible customer service at its finest

Loved the store and I hate that there is always someone complaining and whining about something and anything. I think if someone is going to pay for something and your payment is declined then it should be taken care of that day, seriously use a partial brain cell.Of course it seems that only the negative people will write a review and the people that love the store wont rate it.Hope my positive experience will help.

I have been renting a student violin from this company and they have repeatedly charged me double plus late payments. I have called customer service multiple times to get this figured out. They continually keep telling me that my payment has been denied which is not accurate. I ended up paying double $67 for a $34 payment, called to notify them that they double charged my account they proceeded to tell me that I was not overcharged that I was 2 months behind. I let them know that the payments are direct paid and then somehow their story was changed to my payments were declined. They finally refunded my money. I Just just received another bill saying I owe $97. I Called customer service again and told them its not my problem if they continuously keep doing this. The payment was made on feb 20th, somehow i owe this $97 payment for march and April. The lady I spoke with was rude and kept trying to argue and speak over me while I was trying to explain what was happening. She then stated that my card has been declined again and that I disputed my payment with the bank and now I owe 4 months because they returned the last payment and now the bank will not release the payments to them. For one I never disputed anything with my bank, I went through their customer service because they overcharged my account and also they only refunded what they overcharged. The lady went on to tell me that they refunded the whole amount that was the overcharge and the regular payment. I have bank statements that prove otherwise. She continued to cop an attitude while I was notifying her that there is no way my payments were declined and also that I was only credited what they overcharged me. Needless to say Im returning the instrument and I will never do buisnesses with this company again!

Took in an amp to be repaired. They outsource repairs but the work was done in about a week and the amp plays as good as it did 20 years ago. Also received a breakdown of work performed and i believe the cpst was reaspnable. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Alright, alright, I should probably change my previous review since I lied to everyone in it: To sum up the old one, I had gone in shortly after they changed from Colonial Music to Music & Arts (name change only; they were always owned by Music & Arts), and wanted to get my guitar strings changed. (I have an irrational hatred for changing guitar strings). They always did it as Colonial for $10, plus the cost of strings, a standard price at most any guitar shop. Well, found out the price went up to $15 AND there was a multi-day turnaround. Huh? For changing strings?! Forget it.Well this place is closer to me than anywhere else, and a couple years after swearing them off, I called them to check current pricing. Sure enough, they are back to their $10 + strings price, and do it while you wait, like everywhere else.Other than that, theyre just a standard corporate music shop with overpriced instruments and music lessons. Not really my cup of tea, but glad they are back to fitting my needs again.

Great selection, but prices are high. I came in to buy something, left, and bought the same item elsewhere, still new, for a much lower price.

I walked into the store only to find my ex wife twerking on the while the manager threw guitar picks at her. But the thing that upset me, was i i I walked in a satanic ritual in the guitar section.
