This Home Depot is larger than most other stores. There is a complete indoor lumber yard. The outdoor nursery is beautiful with wide variety of seasonal flowers to choose from. The rental store not only has the regular assortment of tools, there is also a selection of heavy construction equipment; bobcats, backhoes, etc. This site offers many products and services that might not be available elsewhere.

Mr. Bill in the paint department really knows his stuff. He’s kind, professional, VERY knowledgeable. I purposely go in when I know he’s working because his expertise is invaluable. Plus he’s a great guy. Great hire. He goes above and beyond.

I had a gallon of paint mixed a few weeks ago and couldn’t figure out why the color I had used so many times before looked different. I finally realized they had used a different manufacturers formula than the one I had asked for. The guy at the service desk asked what the problem was, called the department to fix the issue and even walked me back there to make sure it was resolved to my satisfaction. The girl working at the desk was very helpful as well. This is why I will always shop at this Home Depot. Everyone makes a mistake sometime, but they always do a great job correcting any issues.

Great visit today. There were several employees offering their assistance which is now a rare find for Home Depot stores.

Will never give HD a penny ever again. Ripped me off on a delivery order and would take no responsibility for it. Beware and DO NOT TRUST THEM!

Pretty typical HD store, but they have cut staffing to the bone and its starting to show.

Linda and many of the other staffers whos names I didnt catch were beyond helpful in helping me pick out the perfect rug to pull my new living room together.

If Im on the north or west side and need to rent equipment or really find just about anything you would want at that store. Highly recommend

This is the only Home Depot I know of that has a reasonably safe secure and clean parking lot without trash and carts floating all about, as for the interior (same) w/ responsible pros located at the pro desk, (paint early a.m.), tools, kitchen & bath. * Check out is o.k. reasonably quick.

Mostly unhelpful, rude staff busy on their smart phones. Associates generally seem least interested in helping. Upon asking, one just walked away saying that he is busy!Most store associates at the check-out counter are rude and condescending. When ask for help, the typical reply you get is: “have been very busy”, and that “they are dealing with multiple orders” so I should wait.I know people can be cranky when there are many customers in store, but rude and unfriendly behavior is very sad and unfortunate for a store like Home Depot.

45 minutes wondering in the store to get help. 4 of the employees had no knowledge of the location of the specific clear item that I needed. 2 pages were not responded. When I complained to the front desk there was no apology. So finally A very unfriendly staff from the front desk helped. She found the item but was not nice about it. I saw three other customers going through the same.Today I found out home depot employees not only have no knowledge outside of their own section they don’t even try. They got frustrated and angry when I asked for help. I had a very bad experience there today and I didn’t even try asking for help to load my item.When they have a staff just sitting there to tell people they have AC in the store, the manager should see the need for staff in the isles and use that person. Management and training in this Hilliard store was disappointing.

We had a really bad customer experience at this store. We bought a mower which was still under warranty and started to stop intermittently. The store sent it away for a month and then the repair place was unable to figure out what was wrong with it. They refused to refund or replace the mower and then they tried to keep our $30 deposit because they said nothing was wrong with the mower! Why would we send a mower in for repairs if there wasnt anything wrong with it. The store manager was also very rude. After complaining to the store manager, he finally gave us a $30 store credit but we still have a broken mower. It was a terrible experience overall. Wont be shopping with home depot again.

The employees seemed inconvenienced to do their job. Couldn’t find anyone to in lumbar. Asked a guy where we could find a certain size piece of wood and he says ‘in lumber’ and walks off. This place needs stronger leadership to enforce better standards.

Super experience at this Home Depot today. Employees helped us load heavy items in the store on our cart and then helped put them in our truck. We didnt even have to ask! They just saw we needed help and jumped in to help us! Great job Home Depot.

They are so helpful here. Sometimes you just need the big box store and the selection that goes with it. At least HD does it right here.

Generally Home Depot carries what Im looking for. Service in the isles can sometimes be nonexistent but for the most part happy with the store.

Had to get some parts for a hot water tank and the employees were so helpful and nice that I ended up getting other stuff for another project coming up love being a pro member

Went to the garden area, sand and papers. Several young workers standing around, not one asked if I needed help. Go to check out cashier would rather play on her phone than work. Charged me for the wrong papers, had to goto the inside desk to get it adjusted. Next time Ill go to Lowes, at least people are willing to help there!

Once again the staff provided wonderful assistance. Every department I entered (6) I was asked if I needed help finding anything! I didnt have to search for anything. I was led to whatever I was looking for. Kudos to Home Depot again!

The fact that they charge before confirming an item is in stock for online order pickup is poorly designed and frustrating. I ordered an item for online pickup recently and the order was cancelled because it was out of stock but my gift card and debit card were both still charged for the item. The item then reappeared in stock 3 days later, but I cant order it because my gift card is showing as zero even though it supposedly would get refunded in 3-5 business days. It has been over a week and I still cannot get my gift card refunded because customer service insists it will happen eventually. What kind of company charges before confirming they even have an item?

John the Asst Mgr today just stayed open late when I called and told him I needed a Makita tool I need for a late job but that I wouldn’t get there till 10 after close, climbed up on a ladder to get it personally, and basically just saved my a**. Promote this guy!!! 😃😍

Just left a home depot that we had a bad experience. Then we arrived at this home depot and they were awesome. The young man Caleb in customer service we gave him our online order confirmation for pick....and we told him we are in a Semi Truck and we need to load these 10 heavy duty shelves in the trailer so we need a outdoor forklift.....he said no problem....he walked with us to the back of the store were the shelves were ready for pick up....he requested over the load speaker he needs a load helper....not only one person showed up there was 4 that showed up within minutes all ready to help.....Way to go team....great customer service we had more help then needed....this manager runs his store great....we left within reasonable timing with a smile......

Home Depot Extended warranty got some internal issues while processing our repair request. Connor at Hillard store was very helpful to ease our frustration. He provided the best customer service we have ever experienced.

This is your typical store chain Home Depot’s and it’s awesome. From the minute you walk in you get the smell of a wood shop from The moment while you walk in you can smell the fresh lumber.The place is clean well organized and staff very friendly And helpful.One of the things that makes this place great is it employees they seem to have a code of assistance you don’t have to go track him down there’s always somebody walking by asking you if they can help you.If you’re in the area and you need any kind of home supplies this is a place I would try first the prices are good locations great

I was at two Home Depots today and what I noticed employees would not even look at you and when you were walking towards them they would not say hi how you doing or anything like theyre avoiding you it should be brought to attention of Home Depot management

Been shopping her for 12 years. Seems that making money is more important than their customers safety. Staff told me they cant enforce their mask required policy(so whats the point then of having the big sign out front) Wont be coming back for a while, there are other places that can have my money.

Quick service at a convenient location. Best if you have one or two items you need and you know exactly where in the store those items are located. The seasonal section stands out as having a variety of options in layout that isnt overly crowded.Their professional services have been helpful in a pinch. Have got a new garage door and mulch delivery from this store, and both were on-time and of expected quality.For lumber or spray paint, I would recommend you travel a little further to other local hardware stores. The selection and quality is quite lacking.

It was fine. As usual couldnt find anyone in the department I needed and those I did find sent me from one end to other not knowing what I was asking for. Some of which would be solved if items were put with the things they go with. Like window and door self adhesive flashing with windows and doors or with roof flashing. Not in the insulation isle.

Let me explain why I gave a one star. I’m the owner of a plumbing company, I stopped in at this home depot to pick up a couple of fitting. There was plenty of store associates in my aisle. I asked for help, they responded hold on a second,(at this point it would have been five stars). Well all five of them wondered away from me, so not I’m wondering around trying to find a soldering torch, after 1.5 hours in the store with no help from anyone bingo found it. I said screw the rest of the materials I needed(this point was prolly 2.5 stars).so I’m at checkout, the lady asked me if I found everything I said no, “oh” she said, now with two associates and the cashier looking at me. I said I’m just going to Lowe’s to get the rest of my stuff. She goes I’m sorry to hear that. Then she proceeded to ask me to give her a review online About how my satisfaction was with her and the store, I spent $200.11 from what I bought prolly about 1700-2,000 of I would have found everything I needed. The only person that helped me in this store was the guy that helped me in tools, I give him 5 stars.

Stopped in to order a new washer dryer set. Lisa the appliance specialist was very helpful and attentive. Even with problems with their system she made the transaction as enjoyable as possible.

Jeff was super helpful. We ordered a grill for pickup and it accidentally got sold to another customer. There werent any left of that model so the mgmt team made it right by allowing us to upgrade to a better grill for no additional cost. Awesome customer service.

Very disappointed in home Depot, purchase a shower manifold and not only did it not come with a part and went back to the storm verified that several parts would ship like that from supplier is Home Depot not doing quality control when they deal with these companies??

Had very bed experience Saturday the 24th around 1 pm..I was there for getting lg microwave.. The old lady Who was working in appliances section was very rude, laud and disrespectful...dear Home Depot plz teach your ppl how to treat costumers thank you ..never going back again!

I purchased a washer from here and it works great. The price was right. Delivery was on time.

Placed online Pick-Up in store order. Received email and text within 10 minutes stating order was ready. Received order from customer service as expected. I also had a return to do, and the representative took care of that no problem. Quite happy with the smoothness of this specific trip.

Walking into the store I was very displeased with the initial service that I received. There was five or six people standing at the customer service desk when I went to pick up my online order because I was notified that it was delivered to the store. A lady that works there rudely told me that I would need to come back later even though I was already notified that it was delivered to the store it hadnt been processed yet. I dont live close to the store at all and I was wondering why one of the five people standing around couldnt go check for my order in the back. She told me to leave so I got a manager, and luckily that person was Beth. Beth personally went to the back and found my order within a few minutes and she was so polite about it, seeing no issue with helping me. I will only be returning to the store when I am on that side of town because of the excellent customer service I received from Beth. Give her a raise.

The staff is totally helpful until you get to the cashiers they are totally aloof to everything around them when it comes to customer service. They need reminded that customer service and satisfaction is number 1 all they do is sell service. Which they are not good at it took me five times to tell the cashier that I had the four locks re-keyed that I was purchasing she had no clue what I was talking about and tried to charge me for two more lock sets. I applied for a credit card was told I wasnt approved but the receipt said I was.

Shopping online with curbside pickup has been great. I can order then order on a different day and pick them all up at once.

Bought a toilet today, talked to a lady that was very nice but no help whatsoever.Three questions:1. Do I need the tube to connect the toilet to the water supply?2. Will the slow drop toilet seat system work with a wooden seat?3. Can someone help me load it?Answers:1. It’s included! (it wasn’t)2. It sure will! (it doesn’t)3. I’ll call someone for you! (No one came, but after self-checkout I did find someone else to help lift into the car)

You can find anything here! Picked up a few ceiling fans but had to return one the screw snapped and got stuck. Home Depot took it back and purchased another one.

I know most people are surprised to learn that He Depot us still in business! The lack of customers is probably part of the reason the store was well straightened. However, getting one of the employees to notice and help you was harder than you would think. I still like shopping here anyway!!

Like the store but they repainted their parking lot making their parking spots smaller. So if you have a full size pickup truck or SUV the side of your vehicles going to get dinged. Most people are buying items that theyre going to have to open the door all the way.

Was a good place to pick up misc things, and they have one person in the paint department who is a savant at matching paints. But my beef is that they recently repaved the lot and removed all of the veterans parking spots. I dont want to seem entitled or anything. I chose to serve my time. But the thing is they ALREADY had the spots, then removed them. They werent underutilized or under-appreciated. At first I thought maybe it was the fault of the company that did the paving, or signage wasnt available that matched their new stuff. But the Sawmill store still has these spots WITH the updated signs. I mentioned it to several employees in the store who seemed rather indifferent (but then again why shouldnt they be? Im just a guy bumming about a parking space). No manager was available at the time, and the corporate hotline gave me a generic well look into it. I get the feeling the decision was made locally, since no other store in my area has done this.Once again Im not asking for any more discounts or military appreciation than I already get. Most places are super kind and generous, and have no obligation to do so. But to say youre a military-friendly friendly store and then take away something you were previously offering, that shouldnt have cost you anything to offer, seems a bit strange. Oh well. I guess I have the nearby Lowes and another Home Depot a mile further.

Will not price match amazon even though their website states they will! The cashier asked if I wanted to open a credit card instead of doing the price match and I will get tussle amount... she needs a reality check because opening a credit card does more to your personal life than save me $15. Lowe’s will be the company I go to. They price match EVERY site and store. Bummer

Even during these times the employees were friendly and helpfull but lumber stock is low! Not Home Depots fault on lumber supply.

The worst and most terrible customer service I’ve ever experienced. I was in the store with my 3 year old daughter for an hour and I spoke to 7 employees to help me purchase and set up curbside pick up for lumber. No one helped me. Every employee pointed me to another employee who didn’t help me. I willNever waste my time in a Home Depot again!

Aside from the really nice punk rock girl cashier at the front of the store, dont bother trying to get any help here at this location. If you call the store they just transfer the call and tell you to call the 800 number. If the person who answers the phone in the plumbing department talked to me on person the way he did on the phone, he would get a visit from lawyer.

Pretty much the same thing as the other Home Depots youll visit, except the customers in Ohio dont seem to realize the importance of wearing a mask, and apparently some of the employees dont as well. Or the employees dont understand how to properly wear them. Thus the three stars review.

I personally struggle with the layout of all Home Depot stores. I dont know what it is, but I always struggle to find most things I need. The staff is very friendly, and helpful at least

When I visited this store I seriously felt like I was a special customer. Every employee that passed me asked if they could help. And every time I needed help they took their time with me and helped me until I was completely satisfied. There is a home depot closer to me but just because of how amazing it was there Im only going to go to this one from now on. Thanks for being the best!

Very nice & organized store!

My home away from home. I could probably tie on an orange apron and none of the employees would be the wiser -- thats how much time I spend there. Everyone is super helpful, and I always learn something new about home maintenance. The paint, lighting, doors, flooring people know me by name at this point and also my dog, whos an honorary shopper and always gets a dog treat at the service desk.

A pretty terrible customer service experience purchasing storm doors. Would definitely not recommend for doors or door installation.
